Staff are friendly. Mum has settled in well.
Thank you very much for your review, it is appreciated. Kind regards
When access to Mum became available, the home enabled us to have contact with Mum as much as reasonably possible. Throughout Mum's time at Maple Lodge, we were allowed contact with Mum through daily telephone calls. The staff were so helpful and cooperative in ensuring wherever possible that there was daily communication with Mum.
Sadly Mum now needs nursing care and has had to move to a newhome for this. Both myself and my sister will always be grateful to all the staff, who showed so much love and compassion towards Mum during her stay with them. We shall also be grateful for the welcome we received from the staff each time we visited Mum.
We always felt Mum was in safe and caring hands whilst at Maple Lodge and were so sad her changing needs, required her to leave there.
Thank you for your review, it captures some really important information about how caring this home is and how much the staff want nothing but the best for their residents and family members. Your comments are very much appreciated. Kind regards.
My dad has been in Maple Lodge Care Home since 25th June 2021. Within 2 weeks of his stay, he had put weight on and looked so healthy. The home is clean, fresh and spacious. Staff are attentive, and nothing is too much trouble. During a period when my Dad was unwell, all staff were able to give me an up to date report during the day and night and helped him through his recovery. They treat all residents with respect and demonstrate individualised care.
Thank you very much for your review of Maple Lodge. We appreciate your feedback and thank you for detailing your experience of moving your father to the home. That will be very helpful for others looking for care. Kind regards.
My dad has been a resident of Maple Lodge since 2018. What first impressed me about the home was the cleanliness. Staff are welcoming and considerate and most importantly they are always happy, which says a lot. The care and consideration from both the management and staff are delivered to a very high level. Thanks to the staff in the home, my dad who was on end of life treatment last year for several weeks, is happy and well. That should tell you a lot! After a period in hospital, he could only be mobilised with the use of a hoist, thanks to the staff, whilst supported on both sides, he can walk again. That is quite an achievement! I would not hesitate to recommend Maple Lodge to anyone needing either respite or long term care for a relative. During the lockdown, it was a difficult time for everyone, but knowing my dad was in Maple Lodge gave me huge peace of mind, he was safe and well looked after.
Thank you for your wonderful review and the story of your fathers experience in Maple Lodge. We are sure that it will be very helpful for those searching for care. We do appreciate it. Kind regards.
Visit to my mum on 21st April, during the visit my mum was clearly upset and not on form this day. A carer has sat with her all morning looking after my mum. All the staff were constantly trying to cheer her up, it was a tough visit but I felt really at ease with the staff who were looking after my mum. I thank the care home staff so much, they were brilliant.
Thank you for your review which displays how life can be in a care home. Not everyone feels at their best every day, but this is when the care team come into their own and use all of their skills to support our residents in the best way possible for them as individuals. Thank you for our 5's they are much appreciated. Kind regards
My grandma has never looked so well since she joined Maple Lodge. Staff are attentive and treat my grandma like she's one of their family. Nothing seems too much trouble for the staff and when you call they're always so friendly on the phone too. Can't thank the staff enough for all they've done for my grandma, especially during the lockdown when we weren't able to visit.
Thank you very much for taking the time and trouble to review Maple Lodge. Your kind comments are very much appreciated. Kind regards.
In the time that my mum has been a resident, she has been very well looked after. The staff genuinely care about the resident's and are kind and attentive. Even though they are incredibly busy they often take time to talk to mum even though she is not a great talker these days. Mum is treated with dignity at all times.
Thank you very much for taking the time and trouble to review Maple Lodge. Your comments are appreciated, as the teamwork so hard to ensure that every resident is well cared for. Kind regards.

The staff have always treated me very good, and that goes for my wife too. Have always been polite and have produced a good atmosphere. When NHS has been needed, both in equipment and medics, they have made every effort to secure this.

My mum has been in Maple Lodge care home now for 8 months, following the death of my father. The staff have done an excellent job of helping her to settle in and feel safe and of reassuring us as her family, that she is well looked after. Whenever we visited, we were made very welcome. Mum has been included in all the activities and has enjoyed them. She loves the social side of living at Maple Lodge. As her family, we were reassured she was somewhere filled with caring and supportive staff during the last few months when we couldn't visit.
