Very pleased with all the staff. Pleasant in taking care of my mother-in-law all the staff have been very good in taking care of all my mother-in-law's needs. The only issue is people wandering into the room and taking things.
Thank you for your review, we do appreciate your ratings and feedback. Living with others who are also feeling the effects of dementia in their lives can sometimes be a little troublesome, but we do make every effort to return all items to their owners when it's discovered that things have been moved around. Kind regards.
My grandad has been going to this home for 6 months now and I can’t thank them enough, it’s a very stressful time moving your family member into a home but this has been a great transition for us all. You have helped us more than you will know. My grandad is so so happy and all the staff, especially the deputy manager and one particular carer; they go above and beyond and treat my grandad like their own. My heart breaks every time I go into the home how happy the residents are and all the lovely events they do for them. Keep up the good work, you are all amazing and do such a very hard tough job, you all deserve the world.
Thank you very much for your review and your kind words which the team will be so pleased to read. Kind regards.
My husband went into Garden Lodge for two weeks respite whilst I had a break. The care he received during his stay was outstanding, as reported by his many visitors during his stay. I would like to thank the care home manager and the team for the superb service that they provided for my husband during his stay. I would definitely recommend Garden Lodge if you are in need of a care facility for a loved one.
Thank you very much for your wonderful review ratings and your kind comments. Your thanks are truly appreciated by the whole team at the home, it was a pleasure to care for your husband. We hope to welcome him again in the future. Kind regards.
My sister has been a resident at Garden Lodge Care Centre for nineteen months and the care and attention she has received from all the staff have been really good. If there have been any problems they always get in touch straight away and I cannot thank them enough. We as a family are happy knowing our sister is happy and settled and most of all cared for, so thank you to all members of staff for your kindness.
Thank you very much for your kind comments and your ratings, I am sure they will very much be appreciated by all at Garden Lodge. Kind regards.
I have worked in a lot of care homes so I understand that they are not great most of the time. I made the mistake of trusting some reviews and putting my grandmother in Garden Lodge. The care staff that are there are lovely people, genuinely good people. The problem is the run-down unclean home and the manager who has no people skills at all especially dealing with worried family members. It came to the point I dreaded having to speak to the manager. She was so rude and unapproachable. Please put your loved one somewhere else, especially for residential care. It's completely dementia. My grandmother was a nervous wreck because of residents screaming 24 seven and coming into her room or trying to. No fault of their own, they are unwell. The lies that were told regarding staffing levels and covering their back was shocking. We found my grandmother in a terrible state and called an ambulance to the home. She's probably not going to make it. The ambulance and hospital staff was shocked at the state she was in.
We are extremely saddened to read this review, especially as we have asked for the opportunity to meet with you, as a family, to discuss all concerns. We previously explained that care is provided in close partnership with GPs and Community Matrons, with no concerns raised by any external...
But for the short time there the staff were amazing to my mum and us, her family. So thank you each and every one.
Thank you for your review. We will be sure to share your comments and thanks with our team, they will be so pleased to know that they made such a difference in that short time. Rest assured we are always here should you need us in the future. Kind regards
After only a week of being in the home, my sister-in-law's general physical health and mental health took a very sudden decline. Once staff were prompted by me, appropriate action, support and advice were taken and acted upon. The Deputy Matron is to be applauded for her ability to listen and act on concerns in a prompt, professional and empathetic manner. Overall, the staff are genuine, caring and have treated my sister-in-law with good humour and have nursed her back from the brink
Thank you for your feedback on Garden Lodge, we appreciate the time you have taken for the review and your kind comments are appreciated by the team.
After being ill for a week and after a hospital stay of ten days, we moved my sister to Garden Lodge Care Centre. The staff are very friendly, willing to help, act on advice and are always there to answer any queries from family members, no matter what time of day it is. I feel my sister has been looked after well and we are seeing the results of how good nutrition and care have helped her improve over the last 6 weeks.
Thank you for your feedback on Garden Lodge, we appreciate the time you have taken for the review and your kind comments are appreciated by the team.
My father needs help as he is unable to look after himself now due to dementia. The staff at Garden Lodge have been very friendly, patient and accommodating with Dad's needs. Friendly, which has helped both Dad and the family settle him into care. Patient as he has been quite angry and upset at times and they have been able to deflect and change his mood. Accommodating as nothing is too much trouble for anyone. Well done Garden Lodge you have helped the family with your reassurance, support and keeping Dad safe. I've witnessed how they treat all residents with patience and respect.
Thank you very much for your wonderful review of Garden Lodge. The team will be over the moon with both your comments and your ratings. Kind regards.
I believe I was treated fairly and was well looked after - going beyond care in helping me on a day to day basis, the staff listened to me and my welfare on a day to day basis. I felt comfortable and my needs were met when needed, all I had to do is ask and it was done above and beyond my care needs. My time here has been comfortable with no worries and I enjoyed my time here.
Thank you for your wonderful 5-star review, we very much appreciate it. The reviews of our residents are very precious as they are able to give first-hand feedback of the home where they have or do reside. I am certain your comment will be valuable to someone also searching for care. Kind regards
Staff are absolutely brilliant, will sort anything we ask as soon as possible, usually while we are there. They are so attentive to everyone in there and make us feel good that when we leave Mum is in a great place.
Thank you for your wonderful review and your comments. Your 5-star rating is also very much appreciated. Kind regards
My wife's grandmother was briefly placed at Garden Lodge. During this respite period, she showed a significant improvement in her mood and her engagement with carers. The staff at Garden Lodge are a very committed workforce, who are dedicated to meeting the individual needs of all residents.
Thank you very much for your review; your kind comments are very much appreciated. Kind regards.
My nan was a resident at Garden Lodge just before the lockdown, my nan was a resident until her passing. The whole team at Garden Lodge kept our nan's spirits up throughout lockdown, we had garden visits then Garden Lodge piloted the indoor visiting. Our nan was happy and treated like family. Garden Lodge staff became her first extended family, as a family, we can not fault this home,
Thank you very much for your wonderful 5* review. The team, work very hard to ensure that all residents are well cared for, and it is good to know that it is appreciated. Kind regards.
Since arriving there my brother has been treated really well and is very happy.
I personally have not been able to visit him but have seen photos of both him and his room.
Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and their caring and kindness to both my brother and myself has been wonderful.
It is not easy to find the right place for your loved one to live, but I feel I can honestly say we feel our choice has been an excellent one.
Well done! All at Garden Lodge!
Thank you very much for submitting such a wonderful for the team at Garden Lodge. We do appreciate such positive feedback and rating. Kind regards
Garden Lodge is a fantastic home from home. I can not fault the team. They give person-centered care, the staff very friendly and have kept family updated throughout the pandemic. With video calls and pictures. Residents are always up to some sort of activity.
A five-star review, how fantastic! Thank you very much we do appreciate your review and the team will be so pleased to know that their hard work and kind consideration has been recognised. Kind regards
We would definitely use Garden Lodge respite service again when required for our family.
Thank you very much for taking the trouble to provide a review of Garden Lodge following your mother's respite stay. We do appreciate your comments and your five star ratings. Kind regards.
The Care Centre staff were excellent during a very difficult time for my family. They made my Nan extremely happy and cared for her better than could be asked for. They could not have done anything more to help my family.
Many thanks for your wonderful 5-star review and your kind comments. We are so pleased that the care and kindness of the staff were able to make such a difference for you all. Kind regards
My mum is a resident. To say the staff are angels is an understatement. They are remarkable, caring, and extremely professional. My mum could never get better care and stimulation. If my mum needs anything at all it's there for her. I can honestly say it is a home from home. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I love you all so much.
What a wonderful review. Thank you very much for your kind words, they are very much appreciated.
I don't even know where to begin with the praise Garden Lodge and all the staff who work there deserve it. After visiting my friend who was on respite at the time during the most difficult time the staff could not do enough I've visited a few homes in the past. The manager and deputy are a force together I've not come across a management team like them, they are all for the residents and their staff as well as us friends and families of their residents making sure that we feel included we had so many video calls, photos sent to us making us feel so much closer to our family member during such a difficult time. Activities are exceptional, this lady stays way beyond her time. Activities carrying on till late on in the night, some homes have a terrible habit of only doing activities between certain times. Shout out to the housekeeper for her amazing hard work. Well done on remaining covid free since the start of the pandemic. Well done by far the best home in Liverpool!
What a wonderful 5* review. Thank you very much for capturing all that is great about Garden Lodge, we could not have put it better ourselves! Thank you your kind words are much appreciated. Kind regards.
It's been a hard year for me and other family members as lockdown started nearly a year ago and my dad hasn't been able to leave Garden lodge since that day. Garden Lodge has made sure I've felt involved with all my dad's care, I've had FaceTime, garden visits and the lovely hub visits. They have used social media to keep up up to date; birthdays, Easter, Halloween etc and continue to do so. The manager runs a lovely home that has continuity of staff and every picture I have seen of my dad he is smiling or laughing. All the staff deserve a medal and I can't thank them enough for their care.
Many thanks for your 5* review, you comments are very much appreciated. The team at the home will be very pleased to have received such a wonderful review. Kind regards.
