Overall Experience
My experience of Linear Park not a good one.

Found the staff not very apprachable and felt uncomfortable whilst visiting. Very cramped communal space all residents seemed to be kept in one small area. The rooms very very small. My Dad's dated and could smell stale water from the sink. The doors were fire doors which I understand but for residents who had walking frames very difficult for them to negotiate opening door one handed. My father was awaiting a diagnosis of dementia which we only got the week he had a fall and broke his hip. Sadly didn't recover. He would have certainly been moved to a more appropriate, more comfortable home if he'd recovered. The day he fell he was lifted into a chair awaiting an ambulance. His fall was unseen so they didn't know his injury. He was given breakfast and medication. Some of those were blood thinners which mean this delayed his operation. As a non medical person even I wouldn't have given blood thinners for someone who had just fallen.

Overall Experience

Mum moved in 2.11.15. So pleased to get mum into here. Never thought I would say any home could be this nice. It's exceptional. The environment the staff the atmosphere are all wonderful. Manager and owners always seem to be there when we visit and nothing to much trouble . Mum's room is fantastic especially compared to previous home where she was put into respite and not our choice.
