I really enjoyed my stay in Park View I was there for 3 months. During that time I was treated respectfully by all staff. All of the staff are caring, happy and pleasant, also go the extra mile to include everyone, nothing is too much trouble for them. The home is well looked after and food is excellent. The entertainment team make sure all are included in the activities which are tailored to residents needs. Well done all.
It has been a great experince to visit my Granny in the care home. Everyone is very nice and speaks to us when they walk past. Good food too aswell. A great way to entertain residence too with flim nights and music too. Every staft is great. People are nice to speak too.

I have been at Park View since Feb 2026. The care and kindness I have received from all staff, management, carers, cleaners, laundry ladies. All staff have been lovely to me, also activity team. I visited 3 residents on the 1st floor today. 2 were in the lounge for 1 hour, there were 4 carers chatting to each other in the lounge, sat in the armchairs. I visited 3 residents on the 1st floor today. 2 were in the lounge for 1 hour, there were 4 carers chatting to each other in the lounge, sat in the armchairs. There was no interaction with residents apart from the friendly, pleasant maintenance manager. Several residents were on their own in their room. There is a lack of leadership evident. Over the 3 and a half years of visiting, there has been 4 managers and a lot of the good staff have left. Compared to 2 other homes I visit, Park View is poor. It is sad to see how it has deteriorated.

As a regular visitor you will know that we have a vibrant and varied activity programme in the home and our enthusiastic Activity Co-ordinators encourage residents to join. Residents on the floor you visited have capacity to decide whether to join the activities or not and we always respect their decisions. Our Carers are always attentive to the needs of our residents, so we will address your concerns with regards to the carers on duty that day. Although there is currently no manager in the home please be assured that there is management presence during the normal working week. We are disappointed that you did not speak to a senior member of the team to raise your concerns during your visit, which we could have addressed immediately.
We love the decor - feels like a hotel not a hospital...

Such a lovely home from home for Mum. Plenty to do with no force so if she needs time in her room she can have it. The staff are amazing and feel like friends. Mum having her own ensuite was a must so Park View has it all.

Park View is amazing. We were looking for respite care for Mum and visited a number of places but when we were shown around by the Manager we knew this was the one. The staff all go above and beyond and nothing is too much trouble. Mum has been in the home for two weeks now and we can all see a difference in her, she is even taking part in some of the activities. All the food is homemade and Mum is really enjoying this, along with the company of new friends she has made and the staff who work here. I cannot thank everyone at the home enough for helping her settle in and as she is enjoying herself so much she has decided to stay a little longer.

Looking for respite care for Mum was very daunting we visited a number of care homes and decided on Park View. From the moment we walked in we knew this was the one! All the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The manager showed us around and she was so understanding about the situation we were in reassuring us that they would take good care of Mum. The home is spotless and is such a lovely environment every member of staff we have met is very caring and really look after the residents. Mum was staying for 2 weeks but she is having such a lovely stay she wants to stay longer. She loves the homemade food all freshly prepared but most importantly loves the fuss and attention the staff make with her. She has made lots of friends and is enjoying joining in the activities. We have noticed a huge change in her and we are so pleased knowing that she is safe. Big thanks to all the staff for looking after Mum so well and for making us feel like part of a big happy family every time we visit.

I am passionate about what I do and believe that residents should receive fresh home-made nutritious meals prepared to the high standard you would expect in a restaurant. I always enjoy chatting with residents and getting feedback on what they enjoy, which helps me plan and prepare menus.
