Park View Nursing Home is a luxurious care home, situated in a peaceful, tree-lined road, overlooking the historic Prince’s Park and is within easy walking distance Sefton Park.

The highly skilled and experienced team provides exceptional high quality, 24-hour nursing and residential care, for up to 56 older people whether for long or short-term care, which sets it apart of all other homes in the local area.

The home boasts a range of exceptional facilities that really make Park View feel like a home away from home, providing a number of wonderful areas for residents to sit and relax with other residents as well as plenty of space to enjoy some private time with family and friends. There is also a café area for visitors to enjoy a coffee while visiting their loved one.

Mealtimes are an important part of the day and the Chefs are passionate about providing fresh home-made meals that are both nutritionally balanced and delicious with freshly baked cakes and biscuits available throughout the day.

The home has an activity team who ensures a busy and varied activities programme, 7 days a week, designed around the needs and interests of each resident living at the home, including pet therapy, live entertainment, gardening and celebrations for special days and occasions.

our mum arrived here 10 days ago after 8 weeks in hospital after having a stroke. mum turns 80 on tuesday but as most off her family will be working they let us do her a party today. the staff were amazing even putting up with her all her young grandchildren running around and also coming to chat with

Mum has been in Park View Nursing Home for three months and, after an unsettled beginning, appears to have settled well into the care of the home. All staff appear to be very able, considerate, and professional in the way they approach mum, and she seems to be happy with her surroundings, the food and

My sister has been resident since July 2024 who requires 24 hour nursing care. She has received nothing but the best of care from the nursing staff, care assistants, cleaning and laundry staff, entertainment personnel who even decorated her room for Christmas .
Everybody is so kind and considerate
and even the reception staff welcome you and nothing is to much for them.
As a family, this has turned out to be the best decision we could have made for our sister's care and we are so happy we can go away knowing she is being catered for.
We have not nothing but high praise for everyone at Park View Nursing Home and would not hesitate to recommend this facility.

Our relative has settled very well in Parkview.
She receives excellent nursing care, the accommodation is good, food is good. We are particularly impressed by the work of the activities organisers who put so much energy and creativity into providing stimulating, varied and accessible activity programmes
for all residents. We feel this is so important for the mental health and wellbeing of all residents.
We are always made to feel welcome when we visit.

What a wonderful care home Parkview is, my father-in-law has been here since January 2024, he has settled in great.
All the staff from the manager to nurses, care staff, cleaners, chef, kitchen assistants, activity assistants are all so kind and friendly.
It's kept very clean, and food looks amazing.
I would highly recommend this care home if you want a "5 star" place for your loved ones.

Such a lovely home from home for Mum. Plenty to do with no force so if she needs time in her room she can have it. The staff are amazing and feel like friends. Mum having her own ensuite was a must so Park View has it all.

Park View offered my uncle a warm environment with staff who cared for his welfare. The care team provided outstanding care and treated him as family and with dignity. The catering staff went above and beyond to accommodate his dietary needs with freshly prepared home-cooked food. Housekeeping kept
his room spotless and his laundry immaculate. The manager and her team are professional, caring, friendly and warm.

Park View is amazing. We were looking for respite care for Mum and visited a number of places but when we were shown around by the Manager we knew this was the one. The staff all go above and beyond and nothing is too much trouble. Mum has been in the home for two weeks now and we can all see a difference
in her, she is even taking part in some of the activities. All the food is homemade and Mum is really enjoying this, along with the company of new friends she has made and the staff who work here. I cannot thank everyone at the home enough for helping her settle in and as she is enjoying herself so much she has decided to stay a little longer.

Looking for respite care for Mum was very daunting we visited a number of care homes and decided on Park View. From the moment we walked in we knew this was the one! All the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The manager showed us around and she was so understanding about the situation we were
in reassuring us that they would take good care of Mum. The home is spotless and is such a lovely environment every member of staff we have met is very caring and really look after the residents. Mum was staying for 2 weeks but she is having such a lovely stay she wants to stay longer. She loves the homemade food all freshly prepared but most importantly loves the fuss and attention the staff make with her. She has made lots of friends and is enjoying joining in the activities. We have noticed a huge change in her and we are so pleased knowing that she is safe. Big thanks to all the staff for looking after Mum so well and for making us feel like part of a big happy family every time we visit.

From the moment we met with the manager and given the tour/background about Kingsley I felt this would be an ideal place for my mother-in-law. I have to say that the care she has received has been second to none all the staff have been exceptional. She absolutely loves the food and the wide choices
available to her. Her medication is given at the same times every day which was something of an issue while at home and was causing her anxiety, constantly panicking that she had missed taking them even though she had. She has not mentioned her medication once to us since being at Park View.
Park View have made my mother-in-law feel so welcome and have encouraged her to get more involved in daily activities and meet new friends. She seems more at ease as the days have gone by and I would say that she has settled in nicely.
Well done all of you and thanks for making something as daunting as putting a loved one into care that much easier.

I returned from holiday expecting to see Mum a bit deflated as I had been away! But how wrong I was. She was laughing, joking with other residents, having a game of 'higher or lower' with giant cards. The whole group of residents were involved, each supporting each other! I can actually say Mum and
other residents enjoy their time at Park View. The care, attention, food and staff make it second to none. I know she was safe and well cared for.

Our dear mum was a resident at Park View from when it opened until she sadly passed away in April 2024.
She was happy and felt loved by all the staff. The care, surroundings and delicious food were excellent.
All staff had a rapport with Mum. She also loved the various activities and entertainment,
especially the sing-a-longs.
She was so delighted to 'switch on' the Christmas lights at a very special Christmas concert given by local school children. We will always be grateful to the staff for the love and respect they gave our beautiful mum.

My friend is very happy at Park View. She is well cared for and when I visit I can see that everybody genuinely cares and goes above and beyond to ensure the service is exceptional. The food is restaurant quality, with so many choices, nothing is too much trouble for the catering team. The home manager
is always available to help, she's approachable, knowledgeable and empathetic. Every person working at Park View is invested in making sure that the resident is the main priority and focus at all times. I cannot recommend Park View highly enough.

As is the normal experience of a relative needing to find a bridge for care between hospital and home at short notice. Park View was the only local home with vacancies. A quick look on the website showed a CQC report 'needs improvement' across the board. This was far from our experience. I have experience
through work in care settings and this is by far the best. Our experience was outstanding, nothing to fault, I would like to book in for a couple of weeks respite now!

I can’t thank the whole team at Park View enough, they go the extra mile to ensure that all the residents are really comfortable and well looked after. There is a good atmosphere as soon as you go into the reception area, you are made to feel welcome by all the staff. There are plenty of events organised
by the excellent entertainment staff, they ensure that all the residents are never allowed to get bored. The cleaning staff do a great job, the whole place is spotless. Nursing staff are always at hand to assist with any health issues. The food is fabulous, the residents really look forward to meal times. Big thanks to all the management for running such a wonderful care home.

Job Title: Home Manager

I have extensive knowledge and experience within the healthcare sector, having qualified as a nurse over 38 years ago. Initially, my experience was gained in a hospital setting before moving into management roles, which included Home Care Services as well as nurse recruitment, both locally and internationally.


I am a passionate and enthusiastic healthcare manager with over 20 years of experience leading and managing nursing homes for both older people as well as people with learning disabilities and mental health problems. I have a particular interest in end-of-life care and the delivery of good, holistic care.


I am enjoying working at Park View and working to ensure that the home delivers high-quality care for our residents that is truly person-centred.


During my spare time, I love being a nanny to my two grandchildren as well as travelling. I have a list of places I plan to travel, having recently visited the Galapagos Islands and have done a Safari last year.

As a qualified nurse, I joined Park View as Deputy Manager in March 2025, having previously worked in a hospital in Neurology and acute care.


During my time working in A&E in a hospital setting, I often found myself caring for elderly, frail patients and people living with dementia, where I became passionate about elderly care and ensuring they receive the best quality care to meet their needs.

Having left school at 16, I went to Catering College where I qualified as a Chef, some 17 years ago.


I initially worked in restaurants where I gained a great deal of experience before joining Park View in January 2022, not long after it opened. I was delighted to be promoted to Head Chef in January 2025.


I am passionate about what I do and believe that residents should receive fresh home-made nutritious meals prepared to the high standard you would expect in a restaurant. I always enjoy chatting with residents and getting feedback on what they enjoy, which helps me plan and prepare menus.


In my spare time, I play football and golf. I am in a golf society with older people and enjoy trips away with them.

I joined Park View in January 2022, following the opening of the home in November 2021. At that time the home only had 7 residents.


Prior to joining Park View I worked in Credit Control for over 17 years but, due to personal circumstances, decided I wanted a career change so, with no experience of the care sector I took the post at Park View and had to learn as I went along and get an understanding about the funding process.


I love working in the home and it has been wonderful getting to know all the families and residents over the years and understand their needs.


I spend a lot of my spare time taking my children to their various activities. I am also renovating our new home which also takes a lot of my time but I also love socialising and enjoying family time away.

I have over 9 years’ experience working in care homes and have previously worked as a Housekeeper and Supervisor. I joined Park View 3 years ago and was delighted to be promoted to Head Housekeeper 12 months ago.


I have high standards and know how important it is that the home is always kept clean and tidy for the benefit of residents and visitors as well as for the staff team working in the home.


I enjoy working in the care sector. It is lovely chatting with the residents in the home and getting to know them.
