Park View Nursing Home is a luxurious care home, situated in a peaceful, tree-lined road, overlooking the historic Prince’s Park and is within easy walking distance Sefton Park.

The highly skilled and experienced team provides exceptional high quality, 24-hour nursing and residential care, for up to 56 older people whether for long or short-term care, which sets it apart of all other homes in the local area.

The home boasts a range of exceptional facilities that really make Park View feel like a home away from home, providing a number of wonderful areas for residents to sit and relax with other residents as well as plenty of space to enjoy some private time with family and friends. There is also a café area for visitors to enjoy a coffee while visiting their loved one.

Mealtimes are an important part of the day and the Chefs are passionate about providing fresh home-made meals that are both nutritionally balanced and delicious with freshly baked cakes and biscuits available throughout the day.

The home has an activity team who ensures a busy and varied activities programme, 7 days a week, designed around the needs and interests of each resident living at the home, including pet therapy, live entertainment, gardening and celebrations for special days and occasions.

I recently spent 6 very happy weeks in respite care at Park View. Having been in hospital for 2 months. I can honestly say it is extremely good. The staff are all wonderful, from the cleaners and housekeepers to the carers and nursing staff and the chefs. They are all lovely, extremely caring and friendly
and they couldn't do enough to make my stay happy and comfortable and encouraged me to get strong enough to return to my home. The food was top restaurant standard and the surroundings and entertainment excellent. I was sad to leave and am very happy and relieved to know that I have somewhere so lovely to return to when necessary either for respite or permanently when the time comes. Thank you all at Park View, I feel as though I've been on holiday in a* hotel!

My brother went into Park View in February on emergency respite. He was initially very emotional and withdrawn but with the help of the excellent carers, nurses and admin staff they reassured him and made him feel like he was family rather than a resident they had to look after, they are professional,
caring and genuinely love what they do. The home is beautiful and really does feel like you are at your own home. Any initial teething problems due to the home being recently opened were dealt with efficiently. My brother feels settled and safe there and has made so many new friends both with the residents and safe and he thoroughly loves being there. I can't thank Park View enough.

The permanent care and nursing staff are excellent and show my mother high levels of kindness and compassion. The housekeeping staff are also excellent and always take time to chat to Mum which is really important - I can't speak highly enough of the chefs who provide excellent meals but also lots of
kindness and flexibility. Finally i must mention the admin and entertainment staff who are excellent and supportive. I am a little concerned about the increasing use of agency workers as the home expands. Continuity or care is vital and not possible with agency people. I have not rated the managers, as none of the new team introduced themselves to me, so unable to comment. Happy to discuss.

Following the submission of the review, there has been a meeting between all relatives and the new management team at the home, with a plan of how communication will be managed going forwards. There is an open-door policy for the home manager and an evening "surgery" for relatives to meet with the home manager is planned. We are pleased that our agency use has reduced over recent weeks and recruitment continues to ensure we are able to provide continuity and quality care going forwards.

I cannot praise the staff highly enough at Park View Care Home, nothing is too much trouble and everyone has been really helpful in making my cousin feel really welcome. She settled in really quickly thanks to the excellent care she is receiving and in her words, "everything about her move has been
exceptional and has exceeded her expectations".


The home is very comfortable and has been furnished and decorated to a very high standard. Both myself and my cousin are very happy with the help, support, and care from all of the staff of Park View Care Home.

I have extensive knowledge and experience within the healthcare sector, having qualified as a nurse over 38 years ago. Initially, my experience was gained in a hospital setting before moving into management roles, which included Home Care Services as well as nurse recruitment, both locally and internationally.


I am a passionate and enthusiastic healthcare manager with over 20 years of experience leading and managing nursing homes for both older people as well as people with learning disabilities and mental health problems. I have a particular interest in end-of-life care and the delivery of good, holistic care.


I am enjoying working at Park View and working to ensure that the home delivers high-quality care for our residents that is truly person-centred.


During my spare time, I love being a nanny to my two grandchildren as well as travelling. I have a list of places I plan to travel, having recently visited the Galapagos Islands and have done a Safari last year.

As a qualified nurse, I joined Park View as Deputy Manager in March 2025, having previously worked in a hospital in Neurology and acute care.


During my time working in A&E in a hospital setting, I often found myself caring for elderly, frail patients and people living with dementia, where I became passionate about elderly care and ensuring they receive the best quality care to meet their needs.


I am passionate about improving standards in care homes, to ensure residents receive good quality care in a homely setting, help residents and lead fulfilled lives with meaningful activities.

Having left school at 16, I went to Catering College where I qualified as a Chef, some 17 years ago.


I initially worked in restaurants where I gained a great deal of experience before joining Park View in January 2022, not long after it opened. I was delighted to be promoted to Head Chef in January 2025.


I am passionate about what I do and believe that residents should receive fresh home-made nutritious meals prepared to the high standard you would expect in a restaurant. I always enjoy chatting with residents and getting feedback on what they enjoy, which helps me plan and prepare menus.


In my spare time, I play football and golf. I am in a golf society with older people and enjoy trips away with them.

Elizabeth Keeley

Job Title: Hospitality Host Joined: 2022

I joined Park View in January 2022, following the opening of the home in November 2021. At that time the home only had 7 residents.


Prior to joining Park View I worked in Credit Control for over 17 years but, due to personal circumstances, decided I wanted a career change so, with no experience of the care sector I took the post at Park View and had to learn as I went along and get an understanding about the funding process.


I love working in the home and it has been wonderful getting to know all the families and residents over the years and understand their needs.


I spend a lot of my spare time taking my children to their various activities. I am also renovating our new home which also takes a lot of my time but I also love socialising and enjoying family time away.

Job Title: Head Housekeeper Joined: 2022

I have over 9 years’ experience working in care homes and have previously worked as a Housekeeper and Supervisor. I joined Park View 3 years ago and was delighted to be promoted to Head Housekeeper 12 months ago.


I have high standards and know how important it is that the home is always kept clean and tidy for the benefit of residents and visitors as well as for the staff team working in the home.


I enjoy working in the care sector. It is lovely chatting with the residents in the home and getting to know them.
