My dad has dementia and was in hospital & we needed to find a new care home for my Dad. It was a very stressful time, but as soon as I got in contact with both the deputy and the manager, they were so reassuring that they would look after Dad and meet his needs. All the staff have been so kind and can't do enough for him, and the fact he has settled in so well is testament to them. I couldn't be happier with the home, It's spotless and is full of love for the residents. Would highly recommend Abbotsbury.
It's heartwarming to hear that your dad has settled in so well and that you have been happy with the care, kindness, and welcoming environment he has received. Your lovely comments mean a great deal to the team and will be shared with everyone at Abbotsbury. Thank you for placing your trust in us.
My wife has now been Abbotsbury court since August 2025. The care she is receiving is excellent the staff are professional, friendly and very helpful they organise activities and keep me up to date with the care my wife is receiving. Quite simply my wife is being looked after with excellent care and I can't praise the staff enough they are all fantastic
Thank you.
I am delighted by the care and support my mum has received since moving to Abbotsbury in January this year.
As a family we have found the staff to be very kind, supportive, encouraging and they show mum wonderful respect and warmth.Small things can mean so much and in particular I was very touched that when I needed to take mum to a hospital appointment (her first time leaving the home since moving there) on return the staff member opening the front door said to mum 'welcome home' Just a couple of words but so kind.
Mum arrived in a very vulnerable position in her life. From the moment we contacted the home to now 2 months later I am delighted with mum's progress. She's a different lady. She laughs again, she's eating properly, joins in the activities which she was adamant she never would.
Karen, Andy and all the team are very supportive to both mum but also me. They knew how difficult this was for us as a family but their support has been wonderful.
We are truly delighted to hear how well your mum has settled into Abbotsbury. It means a great deal to the whole team to know that she is now laughing again, eating well, and engaging in activities she once felt she would never take part in.
Your kind words about the staff's warmth, respect, and...
We couldn't be happier with the care my grandma receives here. The staff are incredibly kind, caring, and always willing to help - nothing is ever too much trouble.
There's a fantastic range of activities for residents and families, from movie afternoons with snacks and lovely afternoon teas to creative sessions like bird feeder making. It's such a warm, welcoming place, and we're so grateful for everything they do.
Creating meaningful, enjoyable experiences for both our residents and their loved ones is at the heart of what we do.
Your kind words about the home being warm and welcoming are especially appreciated....
My husband has been at Abbosbury for 8 months, and he is being looked after very well but he is hard work. He loves the food. I feel happy when I visit the home. We couldn't of picked a better home for him.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience and that your husband enjoys the food. It means a great deal to know that you feel happy and reassured when you visit. Thank you for your kind words and trust in Abbotsbury.
I have found the home to be excellent in that my husband has been treated with dignity at all times. The staff are excellent, as is the management. The overall manager couldn't have been more approachable and helpful if I have had any questions. I have been very courteously treated when I have visited my husband, which has been frequently.
We're truly pleased to hear that your husband has been treated with dignity and respect throughout his time with us - that's at the heart of everything we aim to do. We will make sure your kind words are shared with the whole team. Thank you.
Very polite and helpful staff. Always clean and tidy conditions.

Delighted with everyone and everything at Abbotsbury. Staff are professionals, courteous, kind and approachable. The changes made are wonderful. The dining room looks fabulous. Each member of staff are wonderful, I couldn't name any in particular, the chef is very kind. As all staff go over and above, makes or visits to our relative much easier and a more enjoyable experience. All angels.

We look forward to continuing to support you and your relative.
She has a lovely bedroom with good views, and the home is always spotlessly clean and warm. I recommend the home to anybody with welfare needs.

We take great pride in keeping Abbotsbury a warm, caring, and respectful home for everyone. We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. Thank you!
We currently live in Norwich, it is difficult sometimes to work out the travelling time to meet visiting times.
We have got their latter than advertised, the staff could not of been more helpful.
A big thank you to one staff member in particular, and all the other great staff.
Thanks for looking after our family member.
My husband went into Abbotsbury, it saved my life as he was very violent, they saved my life and I had a lot of help from staff at Abbotsbury. I can not thank them enough and one was my rock, she is a lovely person. I am sure he will be there because of staff but one is my favourite because I have watched and she is very good with all the patients. I think she know her job and as I have said I feel very lucky for my husband to be there with good people. Thank you very much x
Thank you for your kind words! Our staff truly appreciate your feedback. The care and well-being of our residents are always our top priority, and we're grateful for the opportunity to provide the highest standard of care. Thank you
The staff at Abbotsbury are kind and caring generally. They treat the residents with respect which is always good to see. The food is mostly home cooked which again is a positive aspect and the cakes are delicious, the chef not only makes good food but also has a great relationship with the residents, taking the time to chat. I feel that maybe there could be more activities provided but on the whole I'm quite happy with mum's care.
Thank you for your kind words! At Abbotsbury, we are dedicated to providing the highest quality care and service to our residents. We truly appreciate your support.
I am confident that my mum gets the best care possible at Abbotsbury. I appreciate the care and support and know mum appreciates it too. Mum has recently had her hair done by the resident hairdresser and she is very happy with it. This makes a great deal of difference to mums mood.

Always great care, very friendly and caring staff, lovely food. Lots of activities. The home is always very clean. My relative is really happy there is always dressed lovely and very clean. Nicely kept gardens. Thank you to all the staff.
My friend seems well, she is always tidy and well kept. She is happy most of the time and gets on well with the staff who try their best to accommodate her needs. As a friend of a resident I think she is lucky to live in such a lovely place.
Our mum stayed at Abbotsbury Care Home recently for several weeks as an interim placement between hospital discharge and returning home. We found all the staff to be professional, helpful and friendly. This was Mum's first care home experience and as a result of the staff's excellent care and attention she settled quickly and was very happy there. Mum and all the residents were treated with great care and respect at all times. My brother and I do not live local to Mum so communication through the staff was very important to us. They were always keen to let us know how Mum was getting on when we phoned and happy to facilitate Mum talking to us directly whenever we rang. We would be happy to use Abbotsbury again should Mum need a care home in the future
Everybody in the home from managers to cleaners was very friendly and helpful at all times. They all treated me as a friend and I have made some new friends with the staff. I would recommend this home to anybody who needs a good care home.
Having the pleasure of visiting my dear friend over Christmas was very reassuring. It was cheery, welcoming and although staff were away from their own families they treated the residents like their own. Smiles all around with a very inclusive atmosphere. There has been a lot of improvement recently. Had a wonderful day thank you.
