Melrose Court Rest Home Ltd

I have lived at Melrose Court for almost two years and I could not be in a better place both physically and mentally speaking. I am a fifty-two year old female with various disabilities, including seizures, as a result of a stroke I had at the age of just thirty-even. I did not aspire to be living in a care home in my early fifties but I am lucky to be here. I feel safe as the carers check in every couple of hours to make sure I'm not fitting. If I am they are all trained to administer emergency medication, negating the need for a 999 call. I believe the carers genuinely care about me and there is nothing too much for these wonderful people. I feel comfortable asking for help, when I need it , which is something I have struggled with since Stroke stole most of my dignity. I am always treated with respect and kindness so my remaining dignity is intact. On a lighter note, the carers always find time to chat with me and we share a giggle. There is a real family feel here.
