The Cedars

I am very happy here at the Cedars, I have been here for nearly 4 yrs and I have made some lovely friends. all the staff and management are very kind, and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. there is lots of variety for meals and I really enjoy them. my favourite things to do are crafting and playing Bingo. there is always something to do most days

I am enjoying my time at The Cedars I am enjoying my time at The Cedars which includes watching films on my TV. My room is always clean & tidy I have made friends here, I tend to care for myself but there is always someone there if I need help.

I am cared FOR very well at the Cedars. My Bedroom is always clean + Tidy and the staff are very helpful. I enjoy some of the activities including the BINGO now it is summer I love to sit outside and do some Puzzles.

I have been a resident her for over 12 months. Everyone is kind and friendly. I get all the care and support I need. I enjoy the activities & games. Especially Bingo.

The staff do an excellent job of caring for my father. The building is well designed, bright and open space. It's also very clean with lovely rooms. I'm immediately contacted over any issues with my father and kept up to date. Any concerns are dealt with promptly and positively. He enjoys all the meals and is very comfortable at The Cedars. The family are all pleased with his care.

The Cedars is clean, well presented and all the staff are friendly and extremely helpfull.

The fabric of the building + decoration needs some attention. The Garden also needs some flowers (colours)

Lovely staff. Lively home. Great atmosphere. Involve and encourage my cousin. Health - well-maintained and checked regularly. Over the years great improvement in health and well-being. Cousin happy and settled.

As a family we continue to be both impressed and amazed at the care provided by The Cedars for our mum Jean. I tell all my friends how lucky we were to have mum living in the same village as me but most importantly being looked after so well.

My Mum has been in the home for a few months now and has really settled in. The staff are great, very caring and helpful. Mum says the meals are great. She really does seem very happy at The Cedars. We initially chose the home because it was close to my sister but we both agree we couldn't have made a better choice.

We as a family, were very happy with the care that mum had from all the staff. They are all very patient and caring, and this is very reassuring. Mum was very well looked after and she was happy. That is the most important thing when you place a family member in residential care. I would recommend The Cedars to anyone in our situation.

Our mum has been at The Cedars for just over 2 years. She is very settled and well looked after. It is definatly the right care home for her. All the staff are excellent with mum and when we visit. We are always met with a friendly welcome. We are kept informed of any requirements mum may need and are updated with any medical information. 100% the staff make this a lovely home.

Visitors are offered hot drink whilst visiting and staff will spend time talking to you about the concerns you may have.

Any health needs are dealt with quickly so we have total confidence that Mum is in the safest hands possible. Thanks to everyone at the Ceders.

The residents themselves always tidy .

I feel comfortable knowing my Mum is being looked after and given the care she needs , as well as still giving a little independence , which helps with her mood and well being .

Staff are always really friendly and pleasant to visitors , very considerate and respectful to the residents .

If we had to find something to complain about we would find it difficult to find any problems. My mum is a resident at Cedars, and loves it there including the cleanliness, hygiene, food and the care. As her daughter I am always made very welcome by the staff who all seem to be like one big happy family. The staff do lots of activities baking, bingo, hang man, card making keep fit excercises singing and lots more. They organise great theme days eg.St George's day and Xmas with bunting put up, they do birthday parties for each resident too.

No matter when you go the home is clean and always smells fresh. The staff are all approachable happy to answer any queries and if anything changes one of them is straight on the phone to update. We were worried as mum has always lived in her own home but we shouldn't have in my opinion the Cedars is a great place and truly care about their residents.

My father has been at the Cedars for several years now, during that time he has been well looked after by caring staff who have the residents interests at heart. If there are any isues with his health I am notified straight away by phone. Any decisions regarding my father are discussed with him and myself, before being implemented, so you are part of the process and not a bystander. From the manager down you are always kept informed. My father has made friends at the Cedars and is very happy there, the ultimate desire of any potential resident/family member. I cannot fault the Cedars and am grateful that my father is a resident there.

I am very pleased with the home. My mother moved into The Cedars three months ago and loves it there! Her room is bright and airy and always kept very clean and tidy. The staff and management are great! extremely welcoming, professional and friendly, and nothing is too much trouble for them. I know she is well looked after. My mother really enjoys the home cooked meals, and especially the tea and biscuit breaks! The outside garden space is lovely, and she enjoys to sit in the conservatory and watch the birds and squirrels. There is regular entertainment and weekly activities to join in if she wishes. I can't fault The Cedars and would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone.
