Dad was referred to Henning Hall for intermediate care. From the moment I arrived to visit Dad the staff on duty were kind and polite and quickly resolved any issues I had. Dad has said he enjoys the food and the staff treat him well. Everybody is very friendly. Dad is cared for in a professional and efficient manner.

Overall Experience

My partner was a resident at Henning Hall for about 5 months. The care, support, and kindness shown by all the staff from domestic to manager was excellent. The atmosphere was homely and my partner sat in communal areas when he wouldn’t at the previous home he was in. The care was person-centred, respected dignity and personal choice. As a carer I was also treated very kindly. The home is set in a nice rural location. I would recommend it to others.

When I visited my husband at Christmas they had set a table for both of us to have a lovely dinner. It was such a nice thing to do. The staff made me feel so welcome and made my husband so comfortable and supported.

The staff look after Mum well and are very kind towards her. She has Alzheimer's and so requires a lot of support. Her room is of a reasonable size and is ensuite and overlooks a lawned area. Now that they are able to, one staff member is organising for entertainment on a regular basis. When I visit I usually see the cleaner cleaning rooms and the dining room. Mum often says "It's nice here". It is cheaper than some other nursing homes, hence why I feel it is value for money. If there are any incidents or concerns e.g Mum falling or not feeling well, they phone to let me know.

My father came in for care and nursing just before the New Year; he was unfit to be at home. The staff quite soon had him on the road to recovery; he has gotten used to it now. Loves the food and staff (who have all been excellent). He will be able to come home once some alterations have taken place. I personally can't thank the staff enough. Excellent.

My grandad currently lives at Henning Hall. He is happy and settled. Lockdown has been tough but he enjoys his time there. The staff are amazing! And the communication from the home is fantastic. I'd highly recommend Henning Hall. He compliments the food regularly. And even refused a window visit because he was enjoying his Friday dinner - fish and chips.
