Henning Hall offers permanent placements, day care, end of life and palliative care for people who require nursing care, general residential care as well as EMI residential care.

A qualified nursing care team is available for residents 24 hours a day. The home is ideal for frail older people who are in need of extra care and support but without the requirement of specialist nursing or dementia care.

Henning Hall has a range of features to ensure residents are cared for appropriately and that they can continue to live their life to the full. These include a beautiful outdoor garden, sensory garden and room, a conservatory, a full activity programme and seasonal menus.

Each resident has their own care plan, compiled with input from friends and family to ensure the best care possible.

When I visited my husband at Christmas they had set a table for both of us to have a lovely dinner. It was such a nice thing to do. The staff made me feel so welcome and made my husband so comfortable and supported.

The staff look after Mum well and are very kind towards her. She has Alzheimer's and so requires a lot of support. Her room is of a reasonable size and is ensuite and overlooks a lawned area. Now that they are able to, one staff member is organising for entertainment on a regular basis. When I visit
I usually see the cleaner cleaning rooms and the dining room. Mum often says "It's nice here". It is cheaper than some other nursing homes, hence why I feel it is value for money. If there are any incidents or concerns e.g Mum falling or not feeling well, they phone to let me know.

My father came in for care and nursing just before the New Year; he was unfit to be at home. The staff quite soon had him on the road to recovery; he has gotten used to it now. Loves the food and staff (who have all been excellent). He will be able to come home once some alterations have taken place.
I personally can't thank the staff enough. Excellent.

My 96-year-old Mum was in Henning Hall for the last six months of her life. Excellent dedicated, care, compassion was always given.

My grandad currently lives at Henning Hall. He is happy and settled. Lockdown has been tough but he enjoys his time there. The staff are amazing! And the communication from the home is fantastic. I'd highly recommend Henning Hall. He compliments the food regularly. And even refused a window visit because
he was enjoying his Friday dinner - fish and chips.

I qualified as a nurse in February 1995 ( DipHE RNLD) at Chester University.


As a care home manager, I believe we are privileged to have the opportunity to meet and know the people who stay at Henning Hall. The home is beautifully decorated to make you feel welcome. My goal is to work in partnership with the people who use our service along with their families and friends so they feel at home and at ease to live life to their best possible fullness, maximising their abilities.


I have 23 years of experience working with older adults living with reduced physical health and/or dementia. 12 years of my experience has been in the management of a Care Home. I achieved good CQC reports previously and I always aim through continual development to build a strong, committed team to promote a good all-round experience for the people who use our services.
