My mum settled into Daneside Mews Care Home immediately thanks to the wonderful care, genuine kindness and very high level of care that she has received since the moment she arrived. Everything is so clean and well-presented. Residents enjoy many different activities. The key to the success of this
wonderful place is the dedication of the staff and a highly professional leadership team where the door is always open. A genuine thank you to everyone.

Mum is settled and, in the main, happy in the home. The staff treat her with patience and kindness, and there are some members of staff who go over and beyond what is expected of them. I am always informed of any problems, and there is always someone to talk to if I have many concerns.

Mum has been in Daneside Mews for six months now. Although we have been restrictive under Covid we have nothing but praise for the staff. Under very difficult circumstances we have been allowed to visit Mum, from what little we have seen of the home it appears very clean. The staff are brilliant!

My father has a new lease of life since going into Daneside Mews, he is very happy and comfortable. All the staff are brilliant. He enjoys taking part in the activities and loves the entertainment they put on.

Even through the pandemic I have still been able to see my mother using the safety procedure. Staff very considerate and helpful. Newly decorated areas to keep residents interest are a great idea - music area - reading area and more to come.

Outstanding care for my mother-in-law who has vascular dementia. Staff are kind, friendly, very patient, responsible. They always respond to queries and have ensured cleanliness and safety throughout Covid 19. They have set up safe visits as allowed and also maintained social activities for my mother-in-law
and the other residents to stop them becoming bored and isolated. The care is excellent.

This home has been so incredible in looking after our mum. In the most challenging of times, Mum was admitted in the middle of COVID. We were really apprehensive about this, I live in Australia and it was the hardest decision for us to make. They have gone above and beyond to settle Mum in and accommodate
her challenging disease and needs. Allowing us to Skype and call, providing updates and sending us pictures of Mum. The care home manager has the biggest heart and honestly, I will forever be grateful for everything she has done and continues to do. I cannot say enough about her, the home and all they do. She treats Mum as if she were her own Mum and that is priceless. With so much love, nurturing and care for our Mum to the very best of their ability they really do care and treat Mum with respect. Thank you to the manager and all the staff. Your hard work, dedication and care does not go unnoticed, my brothers, sisters and myself are forever grateful.

My mother-in-law moved to Daneside Mews in January 2019. Since being there she has gained weight, stopped smoking (previously she was smoking at least 40 a day) and she is a much happier person. My husband and I are very relieved that she is now in a safe and secure environment, that she has regular
meals and her personnel hygiene is much improved. We are no longer anxious and stressed with the responsibility of her welfare as we have confidence that the care she receives at Daneside Mews is excellent.

My 89-year-old dad had respite for a week and I was extremely pleased with the care he received. The staff were very helpful and caring. He was treated with dignity and was made to feel very welcome. Due to coronavirus, I could not see his room or visit him but was told to call anytime or I could skype
him. Overall excellent care home and lovely staff.

Daneside Mews is an amazing place, the staff can't do enough for all the people that live there. There is always something going on. The manager is very helpful and is always available to listen and make any changes where needed. My auntie is very happy here.

The home has an amazing feel, the staff are so friendly and welcoming. The new manager is great and has really made a difference. All the residents living at Daneside Mews look happy and well cared for. My friend's mum is always happy and speaks well of everyone.

Mum first came to stay at Daneside Mews for emergency respite care. The staff were really lovely and welcomed her with open arms. It soon became apparent that mum needed more than respite and went on to be living permanently at Daneside. She recently had a fall and broke her hip, the manager and staff
were excellent in her care at the time and following her return from hospital, keeping me informed and up to date with her progress. She was very unsettled to start with but has now made friends and is quite happy at Daneside.
