Staff are excellent (sometimes understaffed). Overall very good.
The staff are kind and friendly. The rooms are small but are kept clean. Quality of food is very good, plenty of variety and lots of it. The staff manage to create a family atmosphere. Our aunt feels very safe and happy here. Nothing is too much trouble. The GP visits weekly, as does the hairdresser. There are regular entertainments and plenty of homemade cake!
The staff have always shown respect and kindness to my mother, nothing is too much trouble, and are very welcoming when we visit.
My mother was cared for with kindness, compassion and understanding.
Kind Regards.
They were always very pleasant and always had time to speak to us whenever we visited.
The food at the home was good and caterers soon got used to my aunt's request for breakfast which was almost always egg and bacon.
The room she occupied was adequate and the view through the window fine.
Staff always happy to help they provide excellent care.
At first my brothers, sister and I were very concerned about her weakness and poor health, her bathroom was across the corridor but she always had help when needed.
We have been very satisfied with the level of care she has had and not seen any neglect of care.
Any concerns we have had and rasied, have been dealt with swiftly and appropriately, throughout her stay.
We have found all staff kind, considerate and empathetic at all times and would recommend to anyone.
My sister has been well looked after with no complaints. She has enjoyed the company of all the care and cleaning ladies and gents. They have been very kind to her. Pity there is no toilet in the room, but has not been a problem.
I am very pleased with the level of care my father continues to receive at Elm House. The carers are kind and genuinely concerned about the happiness, comfort and well-being of the residents. They also make the families of the residents very welcome and nothing seems too much trouble for them. The carers are skilled at balancing the various personalities and range of care and attention the residents require. The home has a nice atmosphere and the food is varied and of good quality. I would recommend Elm House without hesitation.

It is a very nice home, I have nothing bad to say about this home. The food is lovely, it's a nice home altogether and I don't want to be anywhere else.
