By the time my home had been repaired and adapted to my needs, I felt I was saying goodbye to friends, not staff.
I came out of hospital and was not strong enough to look after myself. I came to The Elms for respite reasons. My strength, energy and outlook improved tremendously. A very focused and caring staff. If I need respite again, I will have The Elms as top of my list.

Mum was a resident for over 8 years until she passed away mid-November at the age of 92. During that time, she was always happy and comfortable in the security of The Elms. The home was always exceptionally clean and the food 'good'. All staff were more than willing to help and always had a kind word. Nothing was 'too much' for them and they were excellent during Mum's last months at the home.
The staff are absolutely wonderful, they are always happy and do everything for the residents.
The facilities need updating but again the staff work extremely well around it.

Over the 3 1/2 years she spent at The Elms, mum was cared for, loved and treated with dignity and respect. The last week of mum's life we cannot express how wonderful and caring the staff were to mum and our family.
