Mum moved to Park Mount at the start of Feb 2026. Her Alzheimer's had meant she needed more support than we were able to provide as family members.
Right from the start all of the staff were so supportive, friendly, kind & considerate which didn't change through out her time there.
She settled incredibly quickly, much to our surprise, we feel this was mainly due to the support from the staff.
Park Mount is a wonderful care home, spacious, bright, lots of areas for the residents to meet or their own private room if they wish their quiet time. The garden is lovely with a good path all around. Food is of lovely quality.
We will forever be grateful for their support in the time Mum was at Park Mount, it raised her quality of life.
Thank for taking the time to write such a lovely review, the team at Park Mount really appreciate it,
We moved our mum from a care home in Bramhall to be closer to her family in Macclesfield. Mum has settled in very well and we have been very pleased with the whole move experience for Mum and the way the home have helped and shown great care and attention to Mum's individual needs. We as a family are very impressed with the level and quality of care given and we have peace of mind our mum is being cared for well and is happy.
Thank you so much for taking the time to right such a glowing review, it is always appreciated by the whole team, we are delighted Mum has settled in so well, it is never easy moving homes.
We recently moved our Dad who has dementia into Park Mount, from the very start of the process all went very smoothly and we felt incredibly well supported by the whole team. Things were a bit more complicated as we initially were organising this from overseas. The management team did all they could to support us from afar initially before we arrived sending us photos and information and we were incredibly grateful for this at a stressful time. Upon admission Dad settled really quickly, although it was a huge change for him. The staff are all skilled, cheerful and incredibly professional. The accommodation is modern, clean and fit for purpose with nutritious home cooked food and great clinical systems. We have spent a lot of time out in the garden taking Dad for a walk in his wheelchair and this has been such a highlight for him. Dad has been treated with respect, kindness and good humour and we know he is in safe hands at this lovely care home.
We are so pleased Dad has settled in well in his new home and we will continue to support him in any way we can.
My mother moved to Park Mount in January 2025. At that stage her dementia had not progressed very far, and she was able to enjoy the wonderful activities and was mobile enough to enjoy the beautiful gardens. The staff and management were all wonderful at that time. My mother then declined after a couple of hospital stays and her dementia also progressed, so it became apparent she needed further care than Park Mount could provide. Unfortunately this coincided with a change of manager, and things were not handled as well as they could have been. It was an extremely difficult time for me, having to find a new home at short notice, and I felt during that period that my mother was a problem or burden to Park Mount as a result of the manager's behaviour and the way they spoke to me. The staff below the manager remained wonderful and I have every praise for them. I felt that the manager could have quite easily behaved differently to make a very difficult situation easier, but failed to do so.
Thank you for taking the time to write your review, constructive criticism is always welcome. It is always distressing when resident's needs progress beyond the homes registration. Once a resident has been assessed as nursing the manager then has a duty of care. The change in management would not...
Our mum was treated with respect, dignity and care at Park Mount Care Home. The staff were professional, friendly and caring. Mum enjoyed having banter with the staff and they were always helpful to us, the family. If we had any issues they were usually quickly resolved. Sue, the receptionist, is great and would chase any issues up for us. After a bad experience with mum's care in hospital, we were glad that mum was back in PM where the staff really looked after her. Unfortunately, it has all been too much for mum, but right up to the very end the staff at PM were amazing to her and to us. They looked after us the family at a difficult time, keeping us fed and watered, until our mum eventually passed. Her carers seemed genuinely moved by her passing and our loss. Their presence at her funeral was deeply appreciated. Many thanks PM
Thank you for taking the time to write such a kind review which I will share with all our staff team. It was lovely to take care of your Mum and we all felt her passing.
As a family we are incredibly grateful for the care that my father received at Parkmount. This home is modern, welcoming and clinically run. It is however the quality of the individual's working within the home that create such a pleasant, caring environment.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a fabulous review, although Dad was only with us a short time we strived to make him cared for and feel safe in his chosen home. I will pass your comments onto our staff team as affirmation of the good work they do everyday it is always nice to hear.
My mother in law is receiving amazing care from Park Mount, she settled in within a few weeks, no anxiety, looks so comfortable, great to see the same staff faces, facilities are cleaned thoroughly. Fed well. The best I've seen my mother wellbeing wise in a long time. Thank you all.
Thank you for taking the time to write a such a positive review, it means a great deal to us all that she has settled in well and is enjoying the care and facilities in her new home.
All the staff are friendly, welcoming, caring and professional. Nothing is too much trouble for them.
Mum enjoys the activities arranged for the residents and is happy and well looked after. We never thought she would settle so quickly after living independently all her life.
The gardens are beautifully planned and maintained and a lovely place to take Mum who is a keen gardener.
As a family we are so grateful to the staff for making her feel at home.
Thank you for taking the time to write such a wonderful review. We are so pleased Mum has settled in and is happy. I will ensure your kind comments are cascaded throughout the staff team which will be much appreciated.
We were so very anxious leaving him but the staff have taken excellent care of him. Things have not always been easy and my dad's behaviour was challenging at first but the care given has been amazing and we will be forever grateful.
We are still waiting for a diagnosis for dad which is difficult but we receive regular updates on his health and any changes which is very reassuring.
We are delighted with the care and support given to our dad and also the kindness shown to us. We could not have asked for him to be in a better place and know he is receiving the best possible care.
100% would recommend. Thank you to all the staff at Park Mount you are amazing!
Thank you so much for taking the time to submit such a fabulous review, it is always nice to have affirmation that the person centred care we deliver on a daily basis is recognised. We will pass your review which shows your appreciation onto all of our staff team.
Thankyou to all who are giving my dad on going support and in doing that they are supporting me and my sister too. They keep telling us not to worry. Lovely facilities with nice gardens. Thankyou so much.
Our mum is in respite care at Park Mount Care Home. It's been a big adjustment for mum and a huge change but the wonderful team at Park Mount have made her feel welcomed, cared for and safe. I honestly could not have wished for a nicer place for mum. Mum is settling down and joining in all the activities which are fun and entertaining. The huge, well-kept gardens are wonderful to explore, we feel so fortunate to have this outside space. The food is excellent and there is an endless supply of drinks, I'd rather like to move in myself! This is a top team that run a very happy ship, hats off to you all, for all care, love and happy moments you aspire to give every day. We are truly grateful.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write your fabulous review. We strive to deliver the best possible care and it is always good to receive feedback that we can pass on to our team it is always appreciated. We are so pleased your Mum is happy with us and you are more than welcome to enjoy the gardens as spring approaches.
I am thrilled with how well my mum has adapted to moving into residential care. It was with a reluctant and heavy heart that she did so after 65 years in the same family home, but the staff at Park Mount Care Home have made her feel so welcome and treated her with respect, dignity and friendliness. She is enjoying the company of other residents and has started to enjoy pastimes, in particular arts and crafts, that she had fallen out of love with in her later years. She is very much looking forward to being able to go out in the lovely gardens, check out what is growing in the veg patch, and meet the hens she can see from her window, when the better weather comes. I can't thank the Park Mount staff enough for helping my mum adjust to such a big change in her life
Thank you for taking the time out to post a wonderful review, it means a lot to us all when we get confirmation we are doing it right!
The staff at Park Mount Care Home from the first day were very caring, professional and gave both my parents and our family a great deal of comfort and security in the knowledge that our parents were being looked after with empathy, all their daily needs were taken care of. Their room was very clean with a great view and plenty of space. The food was excellent and every request was accommodated with kindness and a can do, will do approach. The home is a happy, safe place with amazing staff.
Thank you so much for taking the time to submit such a fabulous review, it is always good to hear that our residents feel safe secure and happy in their home.
Mum has been a resident of Park Mount for the past 6 months and has settled well and is very happy in her new home. She is so much more relaxed and contented and is clearly benefiting greatly from the good food, companionship, and excellent care provided. There is such a lovely atmosphere at Park Mount and we have made good use of the large and well-kept grounds over the summer months. Mum very much appreciates the opportunity to attend Mass regularly and enjoys the diverse programme of activities provided. The boat trips on the canal have been a particular highlight for her! Huge thanks to all the wonderful staff for all you do.
Thank you so much for your fabulous review, we are so pleased your mum is happy and has settled into her new home well, it means a lot to all of our team to have their hard work, and excellence for delivering person-centred care appreciated and validated. Once again thank you for taking the time to write such a wonderful review.
The staff are superb. So thoughtful and caring.
Thank you for taking the time to leave such a fabulous review, it is always splendid to hear our residents feel safe and happy.
Our mum is going here for daycare. She has been very welcomed. The staff have been amazingly helpful. There is a very peaceful atmosphere which is conducive to Mum settling into this new environment. She enjoys participating in the church services and also the interactive social activities provided. We cannot thank them enough for their dedication and support.
Thank you for taking the time to write such a lovely review; it is appreciated by us all, and we continue to look forward to welcoming you at day care and services.
I wanted to express my gratitude for the exceptional care provided by the staff at Park Mount Care Home during my mother-in-law's check-in. Though we missed their HR person, the support from the other staff members was outstanding. The room exceeded expectations. Park Mount is highly recommended for its compassionate and professional care.
Hi Laura, thank you so much for taking the time to write such a wonderful review. It is always appreciated by the whole team and reinforces our ethos of our "Home is your Home".
I cannot recommend Park Mount Care Home highly enough. My Mum was sadly there for only a few weeks but the friendly, compassionate and hard-working staff could not have done more to make her feel welcome, valued and cared for. Nothing was too much trouble. We stayed with Mum overnight for several days which must have been disruptive for the staff but they were kindness personified and showed a sense of humour and a positive attitude despite being very busy. The accommodations, from newly decorated, spacious and clean rooms to the light and airy dining area and lounges are furnished beautifully. Meals are all freshly cooked, delicious and nutritious and the amazing chefs go out of their way to ensure residents have the food that they enjoy. The pretty, well-maintained gardens and the chapel provided spiritual support for Mum and all of the family did the prayers of the Pallottine Sisters who are so kind. Park Mount is a special place and we will always be grateful we found it.
I am sorry that Mum was only with us a short while, thank you so much for taking the time to write such a wonderful review in light of this difficult time for you and your family. You are always welcome at Park Mount even if it's just a stroll around the gardens to reflect or to attend mass.
Park Mount is quite simply outstanding. The professionalism, warmth and empathy displayed by all members of the Park Mount team clearly have a hugely positive impact on the residents and visitors alike. My dad was gently greeted with kindness and dignity which showed up in ways both big and small, from the Sister calling to welcome him and offer a little blessing, the chef popping in to greet my dad by name and telling him about the menu for that evening, and the following day (as well as asking if he had any favourite dishes), the medication lady calling by to introduce herself and have a chat, high-tea arriving with a smile and the silver serving of sandwiches, along with homemade soup, just to name a few. Dad had the best night's sleep he'd had for a long while. Park Mount is welcoming and jolly with residents and staff regularly in conversation. I've heard and seen so much human kindness on each of my visits to see dad, making it a lovely experience.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave so a wonderful review, it is much appreciated.
My husband and I are now residents in this wonderful atmosphere. The staff and all the volunteers are wonderful. The food is great. The grounds are lovely when the weather is good. We are being well looked after and couldn't be happier. We also have Mass twice a week, and the Sisters are lovely, Thank you all very much,
Thank you for your wonderful review, we hope you will continue to feel happy and safe, we always strive to ensure you receive the best possible care and all-round experience. Our home is your home.

I first joined Park Mount Care Home in February 2017. I transferred over to Keele Crescent as a Supervisor when we first opened as a respite Care Home. Over the years, I have gained the knowledge and the necessary skills and was promoted to Registered Care Manager in May 2021.
I took my first Care role in 2008. Since then, I have worked in different areas of the care sector, which has enabled me to gain many different qualities when providing and promoting person-centred care to a wide range of service users. I took a break from Care in 2013 until early 2017, when I worked as a manager for a photography company. After I had lived in Macclesfield for almost a year, I made the decision to return to the care industry, which then led me to find Park Mount Care Home and Pallottine Missionary Sisters. In July 2025, I was then offered the post of Registered Care Manager at Park Mount, which I was delighted to accept. I now oversee both homes with the the support of fantastic teams at both homes.
