Overall Experience
Our mum was only with you in Park Mount for a very short time, but we cannot thank you enough for the professional care and love shown to Mum during that time. The management and all staff are truly exceptional and supported Mum in every way. In addition, we were so well looked after too, with constant feedback about Mum/links to professionals when needed/supportive chats and hugs/drinks and cakes/fresh towels when we stayed. We were made to feel so welcome, and your staff are a credit to you.

Thank you so much.

Good empathy and flexibility in dealing with daily ups and downs of resident’s days. Staff are diligent in checking needs are being met and perceive when company from other residents is welcome/not welcome. New activity schedule is appreciated.

My sister came to live in Park Mount three months ago. It was a move I had not looked forward to, but I am so delighted we chose Park Mount. We love coming to visit as every single member of staff is so welcoming. It has been such a relief witnessing my sister settling in and becoming part of the community. She has found herself with a new sense of place and purpose.

Overall Experience
My uncle moved into Park Mount at the beginning of December 2023. The whole staff team were very accommodating and took time to get to know my uncle. The home also encompassed the wider family and ensured that our needs were met throughout his stay. The home boasts a warm, friendly atmosphere, nothing is too much trouble, and suggestions are met with a can-do attitude. There are lovely grounds for residents and families to use. The home is tastily decorated and very clean. The meals were made fresh each day, well presented and tasty. The Pallottine sisters have an active role in the home, and they hold weekly services for the residents to participate in if they wish to (this was a strong aspect for my uncle).

I would recommend anyone who is thinking of making the difficult decision of placing a loved one into a care environment to go and visit the home. They have an open-door policy and will ensure you are given time to ask questions and have a good look around.

Review from Elaine H (Friend of Resident) published on 18 January 2024 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

Our dear friend and neighbour has been in Park Mount Care Home since the end of May 2023. We cannot speak highly enough of all the care and attention she has received since being a resident there. Every member of staff is approachable and helpful, polite and always has a welcoming smile no matter how long they have been on their day/night shift. Not only do we look forward to seeing our friend on our weekly visits, but also enjoy the camaraderie and banter with the staff. Cleaners/laundry staff/chefs/care workers/gardeners and maintenance staff and managers. Also, many residents we chat with. We are so glad our friend is in such a lovely home, and in her own words says she feels safe and cared for and has made many friends, and the food is excellent.

My father has been at Park Mount for the last two years. I have never had a cause to fault or complain about the care, and the attention to detail from all the staff is great. Recently, he is getting to the stage where he needs more attention and one-on-one care as he has become less able to look after himself. Park Mount has put into place the extra care he needs without being asked.

I highly recommend Park Mount; it's very clean, all the residents are happy, and the staff are friendly and attentive. 10 out of 10.

My mother has been a resident of Park Mount for over four years. As a family, we are very happy with the care she has received and the support we receive from all the staff, including carers, office, cleaners, kitchen, caretakers and gardeners; they are all like an extended family. The building is always spotless and never has the smell of urine that some homes have. I would recommend Park Mount to anyone looking for a care home.

My nana has been at Park Mount for the last 16 months and the home is brilliant. We looked at a few homes to start with and this was by far the best, not only for the appearance but the staff are incredible. They really care and it shows as my nan always says nothing but positive things about them. The home is spotless and clean and very welcoming. I live 90 minutes away so struggle to visit as often as I like but I know she is being very well looked after. The team always keep me informed and up to date which I really appreciate. I feel very comfortable knowing my nana is there. Thanks so much!

We have been extremely satisfied with every aspect of my brother's care in Park Mount Care Home since he moved there just over two years ago. Both the staff and residents are friendly and approachable and any aspect we have discussed with them has been dealt with promptly in a professional and friendly manner. The care home is kept clean and ancillary people such as the chiropodist and hairdresser visit on a regular basis. The maintenance, gardening and administrative staff all do a good job and the home is kept in good working order. In addition, my brother enjoys the food he receives as well as chatting to other residents at meal times. We can highly recommend it at Park Mount.

I was very upset at having to put my mum in a care home. She has been in Park Mount Care Home now for eighteen months. The staff are amazing and the home is spotless. They keep you informed of everything. I can't visit as often as I like as I also look after my dad but I know she is being looked after really well, so always feel relaxed knowing she is in an amazing care home. When anybody asks where Mum is and I tell them, they always say the best care home in Macclesfield.

I just want to express my sincere thanks to the management and all the staff at Park Mount who have looked after, cajoled my mum back to health after her recent illness. I have been deeply touched with the staff who have gone over and beyond to encourage her eating and drinking together with other medical issues to make her as comfortable as possible. In these difficult times, it is a great comfort to know that my mum is being well looked after and her individual care needs catered for.

I cannot express how highly I recommend Park Mount Care Home.
Firstly the staff are so friendly, supportive and caring to the residents and their families. They go the extra mile to ensure each person's individual needs are met.
Mum and Dad say every time I ring how much they like the staff, also how much they enjoy the food.
Their double room is spacious and filled with their own furniture and personal belongings which gives a sense of their old home.
Their room has a beautiful view over the large well-maintained garden to the hills beyond.
The Christian values and ethos are permeated into the everyday running of the home.
Special days are celebrated and the staff put tremendous effort into making these occasions enjoyable. Such as the recent VE Day which Mum really enjoyed.

I am so grateful to all the staff for looking after my mum and dad with such care and dedication. Thank you so much.

Lovely staff and a real attempt to include good activities. Caring approach. Close-knit atmosphere. The landscaped garden at the rear with its walking path, little pond, trees, grass flowers, chicken shed, allotment is a great facility for all to enjoy. The Chapel is used by my mother on a regular basis. Mum always eats the food. Dining area overlooks the garden and there are two terraces with chairs for warmer weather. Efficient management and lots of staff during the day.

On calling in to inquire with no appointment I was made to feel very welcome and given time to discuss my Father’s needs. Dad has a lovely room which we have personalised. The caring staff always have time for family members as we can struggle with the journey. I couldn’t wish for a better person-centred home for Dad. Thanks so much.

My mum went into Park Mount recently. She has Dementia and has come on leaps and bounds. She absolutely loves it there.
The staff are always smiling and friendly, nothing is too much trouble for them. The atmosphere is so caring, friendly and upbeat.

Every time I go, I get an update on the things she has been doing and the activities she has enjoyed. I actually feel surplus to Mum's requirements now as she is so busy and interested in everything that is going on.

Thank you so much for easing the worry about her going in to a home, I know she is in good kind hands.

Robert Warren
Robert WarrenJob Title:Registered Care ManagerJoined: 2017

I first joined Park Mount Care Home in February 2017. I transferred over to Keele Crescent as a Supervisor when we first opened as a respite Care Home. Over the years, I have gained the knowledge and the necessary skills and was promoted to Registered Care Manager in May 2021.

I took my first Care role in 2008. Since then, I have worked in different areas of the care sector, which has enabled me to gain many different qualities when providing and promoting person-centred care to a wide range of service users. I took a break from Care in 2013 until early 2017, when I worked as a manager for a photography company. After I had lived in Macclesfield for almost a year, I made the decision to return to the care industry, which then led me to find Park Mount Care Home and Pallottine Missionary Sisters. In July 2025, I was then offered the post of Registered Care Manager at Park Mount, which I was delighted to accept. I now oversee both homes with the the support of fantastic teams at both homes.
