I cannot fault this care home, the staff are caring and do their job efficiently.

Any problems residents have are dealt with straight away with love and care. All staff were really good too with residents visitors. All in all really good care home. My brother as a resident was happy there.

Mother was at Aarondale Care Home for fifteen years and was always very happy there and cared for by extremely committed, conscientious, caring staff. The staff couldn't do enough to make sure my mother was made comfortable, always very clean and well dressed, and went above and beyond to make sure she was very happy. The staff were always very attentive and sensitive to her every need. My mother couldn't have been in a better care home and because of her being in Aarondale I had peace of mind as her son. Thank you so much to all.

Mum has been at Aarondale for nearly seven months now so it feels appropriate to write an honest review. The manager Ann was extremely helpful and honest when we were looking for a placement for Mum who had lived in her own house for 58 years. All the staff are very friendly and welcoming and Mum is really well cared for. The staff are so devoted and committed and very supportive. We could not wish for a better care home. It is very personable and not too big. I now don't have the worry about Mum any more knowing she is safe and comfortable. The activities in the morning like bingo, nail painting, baking and quizzes etc are popular in the with residents. There is also a singer who visits. A regular residents meeting is held so they can give the care home feedback. This is really useful and interesting to hear what the residents think. All the residents are treated with dignity and respect. There is plenty for them to eat and drink. A massive thank you to all!

Mum went to Aarondale in early January after struggling at home. The manager was so helpful in getting the placement sorted out which is a difficult and daunting process, dealing with social workers and finance departments etc. All the staff are superb and so genuine and friendly. I think that will be one comment running through all reviews. Mum has settled in quickly after being in the same house for nearly 60 years, so a testament to how homely and welcoming the environment is. If you are worried about placing an elderly family member into residential care then Aarondale really is a pleasant place for them to be.

The staff and management are very caring. They treat all the residents with extreme kindness, gentleness and respect. They are cheerful and positive. Sometimes when a resident says something negative the staff always move on with kindness and respect. Everything else - cleanliness, food, drink and activities are very good.

The staff are helpful and friendly.
Show respect and care for residents.
Clean rooms (lounge area).

I am a friend who visits every 2 weeks and can't comment on value for money and rooms as I only visit in the lounge area. Also not sure regarding food and drink.

Since moving my husband to Aarondale, his overall well-being has drastically improved. The carers actually do care. He is so much happier, and his personality is coming back. He thinks of his carers as friends.

I honestly cannot praise them enough.

I found Aarondale Care Home excellent in the way they treated my mum, they treated her with dignity, were very attentive to her and were very polite. I couldn't have wished her to be in a better place than this care home. Both my family and I are happy with the service provided by all the staff there. My mum liked all the staff very much.

Staff are lovely and caring. The manager is helpful and friendly. Mum seems to like it here. I'm always welcome to visit and spend time with my mum.

Rated some options as good because I know they are available but Mum doesn't always participate by choice, i.e. activities.

My mother has lived in Aarondale for over two years. As I live in another country, it is hard to choose a care home, but the decision to Aaronfale has never been a question. The level of care has been outstanding, with the most caring staff at all levels, from management to cleaners. Entertainment was very important to my mum, and they certainly try to make occasions special. I wholeheartedly would recommend Aarondale.

Putting Mum into Aarondale Care Home has been life-changing. Mum is now clean and happy, and I no longer have to worry about her well-being. I now enjoy my time with Mum much more. I should have brought her here sooner. It's taken so much stress away. Life better. Mum's receiving the best care.
