Albert House is a residential care home which aims to provide its service users with a secure, relaxed, and homely environment in which their care, well-being and comfort are of prime importance.

Caregivers strive to preserve and maintain the dignity, individuality and privacy of all service users within a warm and caring atmosphere, and in doing so will be sensitive to the service users ever-changing needs. Such needs may be medical, therapeutic, cultural, psychological, spiritual, emotional and social, and service users are encouraged to participate in the development of their individualised care plans in which the involvement of family and friends may be appropriate and is greatly valued.

A dedicated GP from the local surgery conducts regular reviews and visits within the home, chiropodists and opticians visit regularly too. The hairdresser visits twice weekly and provides a valuable pampering service.

The kitchen provides delicious food with the emphasis on traditional cooking and home baking using the best seasonal and local produce available. Chefs produce specialist diets on an individual basis.

The staff and management at Albert House go over and above to keep my godmother safe, comfortable and best of health mentally and physically. Over the Queen's Jubilee weekend, they had singers, afternoon tea and a carnival day. My godmother was sat outside in the sunshine watching all the floats going
past down the road.

Mum has been in Albert House just over a year and we can honestly say that right from day one, the management and staff could not have done any more to make my mum at home, safe and comfortable. Nothing is too much trouble - they are all kind, caring, and professional at all times. The best care home
by a mile and we would highly recommend to anyone. Keep up the good work!

My Gran absolutely loved her time at Albert House and knowing she was happy and well cared for made a huge difference to us as a family, particularly as the majority of her time there was spent during lockdown. The level of care given by all the staff was exceptional.

Mum passed away in the 'loving care' of the staff and in company of her fellow residents. She led a peaceful and dignified life during her stay at Albert House. The staff became her 'second' family and attended to her care with a quiet, gentle and loving way and respected her wishes, whatever they were!

My father was in the care of Albert House for 6 months, in his time he was pleased with the care he received, the food was good and the staff were brilliant, they cared for all his needs, they ensured that we were kept up to date with care and health issues. We got regular visits and when we called

My mum was always treated with respect during her time at Albert House Residential Home. The staff managed her medical needs and I was always informed of any changes in her health straight away. The home is spotlessly clean and the staff are very caring and friendly.

My mum has been in residential care for the past 3 years. I have always found the staff very helpful and caring. Over the past 12 months, this has been made easier by knowing that mum has been well cared for during the pandemic. They have dealt with things as they have progressed in a very efficient,

Due to the current situation with covid, we were unable to visit mum but going from what I've seen and heard there were no issues with the care that they were giving mum. Her room was nicely laid out and clean.

My mother in law has been in Albert House for the past year and is very content where she is. Staff are very helpful and efficient. They have managed several health problems very well and coped with covid in an exemplary manner.

Mum had to go into a care home in the middle of the covid pandemic, so we haven't met any of the staff face-to-face. When I have spoken to the manager regarding her admission she was extremely helpful and reassuring and went through everything with me. Mum has settled in very well and is very happy
and contented. I have only seen through the windows into the care home but am very happy with what I have seen. The staff are very helpful with visits.

I think more activities could be introduced for the partially sighted people. Also, another carer should be put onto the night shift.

The care my mother received was excellent. Due to the Covid lockdown, her family were unable to visit. The staff became her family and cared for her just as we would. There were activities and entertainment, all arranged and provided by the hard-working staff, who due to PPE, testing and regulation,
were themselves extremely busy. But still, the residents were top priority giving excellent care.

Our dad became a resident in April, right in the middle of the Covid pandemic. All staff are professional, kind, caring and understanding and have endless patience, even with family ringing or calling daily. Nothing is too much trouble. We got window visits with Dad and FaceTime, in which he always
told us staff were good with him. Dad sadly passed away in June and we got to be with him when he passed, for which we can't thank staff enough. They all go over and above their duties. They're angels and deserve medals.

Excellent care and service at Albert House for. Mum-in-law cannot fault the staff at Albert House; they went above and beyond to make her stay here home from home. We knew she was well looked after during the covid 19 situation, which made us feel we could not think of anywhere else better we would
