My mother's care at Bluebell House is exceptional. The staff care so much about the residents. Nothing is too much for them. The management - Mark and Jo go above and beyond. Mum was 100 last week. The party was fantastic all down to the organisation and care taken by the staff. She's very happy here. I couldn't have chosen a better place for my mum to stay. Thank you.

The care at Bluebell is superb. My mum was very independent and initially opposed to needing any help - but she loved it there. The care, and emotional support from all staff was outstanding. Full activities if residents wanted them, and quiet areas if not. Always spotlessly clean and individual attention in abundance. Mum and all her family loved it.

Dad came to Bluebell House in 2023 due to not being able to look after himself because of his dementia. The care here is fabulous, it is like home from home. Dad settled here straight away. The staff are wonderful, it is like one big family, the staff are so patient with him, and ensure his personal care is dealt with, even when he can be very difficult. Dad is very happy here.

My mum has been a resident for a year now. I cannot praise the staff enough for their care in looking after her. She has come on so well in herself since going there last year.
The home is always very clean and has a really homely feel. All the staff are great and really lovely with the residents.
My mums room is very bright and well equipped. All the communal areas are great.

I am very pleased with all aspects of bluebell house. 10 out of 10

My mother has been a resident of Bluebell House for almost a year now. She was lonely and struggling at home when Dad died and initially resisted going into a home. However, she quickly settled down and is now completely happy. The staff at Bluebell are marvellous, attentive and caring and they really seem to be fond of residents. There have been a few issues with laundry and separating belongings between residents, and the rooms are rather small but they meet Mum's needs. She really only uses her room for sleeping and much prefers to be joining in the activities downstairs. The staff try to do something most afternoons, from singing, chair exercises, games, drawing, crafting and baking to name a few. The house is always clean, light and welcoming. Mark and Jo, as managers, are always available and respond quickly to questions and problems, offering as much support to residents and families as possible. We would have no hesitation in recommending Bluebell House to anyone

My mother-in-law was admitted in the summer of 2025, due to not coping at home. This was extremely distressing for her and our family. The staff were very good at helping her to settle in, and also advising the family.
She has now settled in extremely well, and made friends with the other residents. Daily activities are carried out to stimulate the residents, and we have noticed a great improvement in our family member.
The staff are very approachable and listen to any concerns.
The management are always available if we need to discuss anything with them.

Overall, a brilliant care home, brilliant staff, food is very good and I cant fault anything. Would recommend Bluebell House.

I have found all of the staff friendly and helpful. My mum has settled really well and seems very happy. They had lots of activities on the build up to Christmas, which everyone looked to be enjoying. I live abroad , so seeing my mum in this homely environment, means I can go home knowing my mum is safe and being well cared for.

Our family cannot thank the team at Bluebell enough for the incredible care they provide to our mum. From day one, it was clear that her wellbeing is their utmost priority. Knowing that she is in such capable and compassionate hands truly puts our minds at rest.

The home itself is beautiful and clean, yet it maintains a warm, 'home from home' atmosphere rather than feeling clinical. There is always something going on to keep the residents entertained, and the communication from the staff is excellent. We especially love seeing photos of Mum having fun on their social media-it's wonderful to see her so active and engaged! Mum is very settled and, most importantly, happy. When she is happy, we are happy. We highly recommend Bluebell to any family looking for quality care."

My mother has been at Bluebell House for 12 months, she is 92 and has dementia and is very happy at Bluebells. She calls it home and her family. The staff are amazing, nothing is too much trouble and the care is fantastic. The ensuite bedrooms are lovely and clean and the food is tasty home-cooked food. The Home has people that come in and entertain the residence and they take them out on little trips. We have peace of mind knowing that mum is so well looked after and cared for and happy and safe. We fell very lucky that mum is at Blubell house because it is most definitely the best in the area.

Wonderful, warm friendly home, all the staff are so helpful, and are happy to help in anyway they can, it feels comforting knowing my aunt is happy content and safe.

She has made good friends and settled in so quickly, her room is beautiful full of her memories and photographs from home, she often thinks she's on her cruise ship holidays as she's treated so well, and loves the puddings and treats she gets throughout the day, never lonely has the best company. A fabulous professional team of staff I would recommend Bluebell House in a heartbeat.

Words cannot describe how wonderful this care home is. It is more of a community where everyone gets on so well with each other - it's our new little family.
As a family we were terrified of my nan going into care as we have had such bad experiences in the past.
The home is so clean that when you walk in it's like walking into a lovely bed and breakfast. The room my Nan has is a new build room and is furnished beautifully. Every time we visit the bed is clean, the floors hoovered like a lush hotel. I would stay there myself!
The food is diverse and inclusive to everyone. Inc vegetarian options!

Food is presented to the residents in which encourages them to eat instead of just shoved infront of them. My nan looks so much healthier mentally and physically since coming here.

One staff member in particular organises the place in a way different to other care homes. It's organised, the staff are flawless and I leave my visits feeling calm and assured.

Words cannot describe how thankful I am to you all

From first setting foot to view Bluebell house to my mum moving in at the beginning of February all our family have felt very welcome. All the staff are friendly, helpful and caring. It is clean, smells fresh and the decor lovely. My mums room is cosy and was decorated before she moved in. Mum loves the food, they even have chocolate biscuits with their refreshments. Mum has been taken into the area for a walk and lunch and she has done various activities which we see on their social media page.
