Laundry is always a problem, especially underwear.
Overall my mum is happy here.
When care is good things run well but it is not always consistent.
Overall the staff are helpful but do not pass messages on so there is a lot of "I didn't get that message".
Everything has definitely improved.

The furniture in my mum's bedroom could certainly be improved - her curtains, drawers and bed and headboard.

My aunt has been a Riverside resident for many years. During this time her needs have been variable. More recently she has required ever increasing nursing care.
the staff have always responded to her needs and cared for her with kindness, compassion, tolerance and good humour.

I feel really grateful that she has lived in a secure and comfortable environment.

Happy that I found somewhere nice for mum to be looked after. Her room has a similar view to where she used to live.
In November 2016, mum had a seizure and had to be given CPR and mouth to mouth by a member of the night staff, who saved mum's life to which we will be eternally grateful for. Such a lovely lady, the flowers and chocolates were only a small token of our thanks. Thank you.

More staff required to watch over both lounges and dining room so not too much pressure on current staff who are lovely.

Overall Experience

Mum has been at Riverside Care home since January 2015 and has received good care. She responds better to some carers than others. Some carers have a lot more patience than others. Mum doesn't like to be rushed and some carers expect her to respond quicker. Mum has behavioral issues which I would hope that qualified staff could cope with.
