Here is an opportunity to look at some of our staff team and shown here are our Heads of Department. Each one of them plays a vital role in the day-to-day running of the home. I have been in care now since 2002 beginning life as a carer here at Brookfield and then in 2006 I was delighted to be promoted to General Manager. What I love most about my job is caring for people - I love to take time out of my busy day to go around and speak with the residents. I am truly passionate about ensuring that all the ladies and gents who live here with us are provided with the very best care and as a team we all support them to live a healthy and happy life.
Jane is our Deputy Manager, who joined the company in 2004 as a Care Assistant. In 2009, she was promoted to Senior Care Practitioner and then later to Deputy General Manager.
Jane supports the General Manager plus all other staff.
She is very approachable and is willing to undertake any task that is allocated. Jane also participates in fundraising, activities with residents and is also an occasional cook! She is also great at counselling residents and families.
She lives at home with her husband, who is now retired, and they have been together for 36 years. She has 2 children and 5 grandchildren; the latest additions arrived 2 weeks apart in August this year.
Jane likes to travel and likes to holiday a couple of times a year to see the world.
Jane loves music and follows lots of musicians on Twitter, especially Harry Styles and Zane Malik. She also enjoys going to concerts and festivals.
