I visited recently my mother from South Africa.
I was disappointed in her personal care.
She has Alzheimer's so is not capable of doing things herself.
Her clothes were dirty, her toe nails and finger nails were not trimmed.
Her room had a constant smell of urine, the public toilet in the lobby
had a horrendous smell of urine.
The garden is a good space, however, it is not cared for. The grass was overgrown and the beds full of weeds.
No decent seating for the residents to sit. No pots of flowers. Bird poop everywhere.
The staff were nice but lack training especially when caring for my mum who has extra needs.
Effort needs to be put in to make the place more appealing to residents and their visitors.
I would not recommend it to anyone at present.
