Care is second to none, just wish we had moved her sooner. Staff available at all times. Hygiene and personal care is a very high standard - no more gunky eyes or dry and dehydrated skin. After day four I couldn’t stop stroking her face it was so soft. Meals are amazing and plenty of choices. 100% would recommend Dearnelea Park for anyone’s loved ones. Huge thank you to all the staff. Friendly, warm and welcoming. Each and every one provides a loving, safe environment and there are always activities to join in with.

Overall Experience

My mother had a fall a few weeks ago and had to go to the Dearnlea Residential Care Home that has an ICAT unit as part of Barnsley Hospital in the community. While at Dearnlea my mother has been well looked at all times, this is what care is all about and the staff at Dearnlea are very good and understanding. It is a nice and welcoming 'home from home' a place to rest and recover and it shows. The residents are happy and well cared for in a homely atmosphere in the community. You can visit any time of the day. Dearnlea Residential Care Home is and continues to set standards of service that other care homes should aspire to.
