Chapel Garth is located in the middle of Bentley, Doncaster.

The home has been sympathetically restored and extended to provide accommodation for 34 EMI residents. The home also has four lounges and all the modern facilities needed to provide care for the elderly.

Chapel Garth is in an ideal location and is easily accessible both by private and public transport.

Chapel Garth has pretty private gardens for residents to enjoy and relax in. Also available is an activities programme including bingo, music & movement and dominoes.

Residents may also benefit from the weekly visits made to the home by a hairdresser, dentist and optician, a chiropodist is available on request. A physiotherapist visits two days a week. Other visitors include clergy of all denominations. The home hosts a fortnightly hymn service.

There is a personal laundry service available for residents.

Local outings to places of interest for example, the local shops and the seaside are available.

New flooring in the lounge a vast improvement to old carpet making area safer for residents. Easier to keep clean for staff. Furniture in lounge good quality easy to keep clean, seating always available for visitors in both main lounge and quiet area towards the garden. Entertainment during the afternoon
and visited, very good with plenty of reaction from residents. Care staff always on hand to assist and comfort residents when required. Although residents are a mix of active and needing assistance in mobility all are treated well.

From our first visit, my husband and I were impressed by both the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness. My sister was quite ill when admitted, although her brain was very sharp. On three occasions, she had ti visit the hospital but at all times, she was treated by staff with kindness and dignity.
The
manager runs a first class establishment and her staff helped us through the last difficult months of my sister's life.
I am very grateful to them all.

When we visit, the staff are very welcoming and my lifelong friend is always telling me how good they are to her. They always offer us tea or coffee and cheer my friend up when we have to leave her. It feels good to know she is looked after and safe.

A very friendly, homely feeling about the lounge and dining areas. Staff appear very caring and keep me well informed of any illness or incidents out of the ordinary affecting my sister who always seems happy and content when I visit. The home provides daily activities and regular visiting entertainers

Having to place someone you love and have respected all your life into a care home is heartbreaking. So having chosen the right care home for them is essential. Right from the very first visit, we felt this was the place for Dad who was suffering from Dementia. The care they gave him was very good they
also had meetings and gave us the family updates and were very supportive. My Dad has now sadly passed away we can't thank Chapel Garth staff enough they do an amazing job. Thank you.

Having visited this care home on several occasions without notice we were very impressed and decided to leave our Aunt for two weeks respite. The manager is magic and this flows throughout the home to the staff.

The care my father received over ten years was of a first class standard and the staff always showed great care and attention to him. The home was kept clean and well maintained at all times and the meals were always changing to add variety and stimulus. There were many activities going on all year
and trips out for the able few were regular. My dad passed away at the end of April this year and the staff could not have been more supportive of my family. A first class care home which I would recommend to anyone, no problem at all.

Meet Natalie, our deputy manager. Natalie has progressed through her career at Chapel Garth going from a care assistant role to a senior role to now the deputy manager role. From her previous job roles and experience in the care industry, Natalie has gained vast knowledge and understanding.


Natalie supports Angel, the manager, in the overall running of Chapel Garth, often taking over management responsibilities in the manager's absence.


Natalie is involved in day-to-day operations, staff management, and ensuring that company policies and procedures are followed correctly.

Rebecca

Rebecca Mitchell

Job Title: Admin Joined: 2023

Meet Rebecca, our administrator/activity coordinator.


Rebecca's job shares the admin role with Storm and also works alongside Toni as an activity coordinator.


Rebecca's admin role provides essential administrative and organisational support to Chapel Garth, which ensures the smooth and efficient running of the care home. As the admin, Rebecca acts as a point of contact for residents, families, and visiting professionals. This role is important in maintaining the best possible caring and safe environment for residents and staff.


Rebecca's activity role includes planning events, celebrating special occasions and implementing a large variety of activities for all residents in a person-centred way to enhance their quality of life and promote their social interaction, which also provides mental and physical stimulation for the residents. Rebecca understands the importance of personal-centred care and the residents all have different needs/interests and preferences and accommodates these in the best possible way.
