Hi, my name is Vickie, I have worked in care for just over 20 years, I first started in care after caring for my Nan, after she had passed away I realised not everyone was in a position to care for their loved ones and I wanted them to feel reassured that I would look after them like I looked after my Nan.
I have three children, twin boys now 29, and a daughter now 19, and four grandsons, who are the lights of my life, I even delivered one of them, (so I could be a midwife too).
My hobbies are reading, days in the countryside relaxing, and spending time with my grandsons and family.
I have been with Runwood for nearly two years, and I love the family feel of Rowena House.

I hold a degree in Humanities, which has deepened my understanding of people and cultures, enriching my work and personal life.
Affectionately known as "Dora the Explorer," I have a love for adventure and discovery. In my free time, you'll often find me walking dogs, exploring the countryside, or venturing into the breathtaking landscapes of the Peak District.
Every day is an opportunity to learn, grow, and connect, both in my career and in my explorations!
Hi, I'm Natalie! For the past three years, I’ve been the dedicated Housekeeper at Rowena House, where I’ve taken pride in creating a warm and welcoming environment for both residents and visitors. My role brings its share of daily challenges, but it also offers the joy of engaging with our incredible residents, whose stories and smiles make every day worthwhile.
I’m proud to have been recognised as the IPC (Infection Prevention and Control) champion by the local authority for two consecutive years—a testament to my commitment to maintaining high standards. Beyond my work, I’m known for my knack for faffing, titivating, and decorating, adding a touch of flair to every corner of the house.
Fun fact: I can speak in an impressively deep voice, which never fails to surprise and entertain those around me!
Let’s make every day a little brighter together.

I am a Domestic Assistant at Rowena House, where I have had the pleasure of working for nearly 3 years. I truly enjoy being part of such a supportive team and working alongside a wonderful group of staff. Becoming a mum has been both an incredible achievement and a rewarding experience that has shaped my life in many ways. In my free time, I love reading, telling jokes, and spending quality time with my little one.

Becoming a grandma has been my biggest achievement, and it's a joy that fills my heart with love and laughter. I’m always smiling and try to find humour in the little things, which keeps me energised and positive. Outside of work, I’m a huge football fan, especially when it comes to Liverpool. You'll often find me cheering them on!
