Aden View Care Home

The staff and care home have been a godsend to our sanity in the care of my Mother-in-law. The staff have brought her back to how she was last year mostly bright and interested in her surroundings. She has got a new lease of life. Thank you.

Always made really welcome by all the staff. Very clean and homely place. Residents always seem happy on our visits.

The management at the home always makes me feel welcome. They are really nice to me. Also, the staff are really good. My wife is always clean and tidy. The rooms are always very clean. It's a really nice home. Thank you all at Aden View Care Home.

The manager's visit to the resident's own home, she was very professional and I knew the way she talked and explained things she was excellent at her job. When we visited the home, the "family was here from Cyprus". As they and I entered the home, the vibe was good, everybody was friendly, kitchen staff said they would cater to her likes into the daily routine. She settled well, they have now got to know her and they are trying to sort out things for her to make life and health better.

Since my mum has moved into Aden View Care Home, she has been treated with dignity and a great deal of care and compassion. I have no doubt that my mum is in the best place for her health and well-being. They manage the balance between safety and family visits perfectly. We are always welcome to spend quality time with Mum, especially with the activities which keep Mum stimulated and bring social activities to life. They are the best!

Mum only spent a few months at Aden View, but in my opinion, the care she received was absolutely outstanding from a team of cheerful, dedicated and highly professional staff. They were unfailingly welcoming and treated everyone, not just Mum, with dignity and empathy - I loved watching the staff go around talking to residents, showing them personal attention at all times. I'd say there is real love in this care home - I saw it expressed many times, and can't thank them enough for making Mum as safe and comfortable as possible in her final months.

A very kind and compassionate home for your loved ones. Mum is so well looked after by the very friendly and thoughtful staff. Mum is sadly not mobile and the staff are so considerate towards her needs and are very attentive. The home is clean, safe, well managed and a lovely environment where you are always welcome on your visits.

Aden View Care Home was amazing with both my mum and dad. My dad moved here around 2014, we were able to decorate his home to his taste, which was a nice touch. He lived there till he had to move to nursing which was a shame as he loved it and it was like home from home. Then my mum came to stay on respite but sadly she was not safe enough to come home. She was there till this year. Nothing was any trouble for the manager and her team. With Covid, it was hard but listening to the manager's stories of my mum and how she kept them on their toes.

Mum was placed in Aden View Care Home 12 months ago, suffering with advanced dementia. She is now settled and calm and is being well looked after by an exceptional set of friendly, competent staff who fully deserve 5 stars. I would have no hesitation in recommending Aden View Care Home. Other people I know have said much the same when I've mentioned Mum was at Aden View Care Home, including two who work in the health and care sector.

I was in desperate need of moving Dad to a care home nearer to me and my family. As if covid was bad enough to keep me away from him, I was going out of my mind with worry as I could only get to see him once a week and he wasn't the best. So finally, I got him into Aden View and couldn't be happier, and I see the difference in my dad already and it's only been three weeks. The managers could not be more welcoming and helpful for what they have done for my dad and me already. I can not praise them enough and I know they are only doing their everyday job but it's the care and compassion that they have for the care home and made it like their big extended family. You feel welcomed as soon as you step into the building, all the carers as well, nothing is too much trouble. No wonder the rating is so good, keep up the good work guys.

Just wanted to say that I'm delighted with the standard of care provided by the staff at Aden View for my mum who has been a resident since last summer. We worried whether we had done the right thing when we decided to take my mum to the home but it's heartwarming to see how happy and engaged she is now she's settled. And the care and friendship demonstrated by the staff - and reciprocated by my mum - makes us feel very reassured.

Mum is being well looked after in these difficult times. It is very reassuring that mum is safe. The staff are helpful and are always ready to help. Mum is doing well and I would recommend Aden View Care Home to anybody who needs to find care for a loved one.

To the manager and all her staff at Aden View Perseverance Street for looking after my wife so caringly. For the last few months of her life we couldn't have wished for her to be in better hands, I feel sure she appreciated this as much as we did. Keep on giving the love and care to others that you all gave to my wife, and thank you from my family too.

Aden View Care Home has been a great source of income for my father. My father is well cared for and extremely happy, which is very reassuring for me and my family.

I would like to thank the management and staff of Aden View for looking after my mum so well for the past five years. Unfortunately, we lost her on Tuesday, but not before she got the chance to celebrate (if socially distantly) her 100th birthday in June. Everyone worked so hard to make this a fabulous day for her, ensuring that she received over 160 cards including one from the Queen, her party will remain as a high point in my memory. This year has been so difficult for everyone but especially for the staff having to manage their own health and that of those in their charge. I can only say that I have felt completely secure in the fact that my mum was receiving the best care possible in our absence. I feel that they have gone above and beyond in caring for her and keeping me advised all along the way. Thank you to each and every one of you. I am so glad we chose Aden View for her home.

Despite the present circumstances, the loving care and attention given to our father at Aden View is very reassuring. The enjoyable times of personal visits to Dad are not possible right now but we are very grateful to ALL the staff for providing us with effective ways to communicate via video and one-to-one chats over the railings when permitted to do so. The welcome offered is genuine, often entailing walking that extra mile to make it perfect. Dad’s 99th birthday celebration is one we shall cherish, thanks to the extraordinary effort and help of the manager and staff. Any constructive comments expressed are both graciously received and actioned quickly and satisfactorily. Visits to Dad by friends and relatives have resulted in complimentary tributes about the home. It is with a deep sense of grateful appreciation that we say ‘thank you’ to the manager and staff for ALL that you do in making our Dad happy and comfortable.

Aden View is a great care home, always in contact when needed and look after my mum very well with her needs. Always on hand to answer questions.

Staff are good. Food is good.
