Very friendly staff. They work with great kindness and compassion, day in, day out. They looked after my grandma wonderfully, with dignity always at the fore front. They keep every one safe within the building and this is because they have an owner and manager who care, which shows through the staff.

My friend was admitted to Vicarage Court in November 2021. This was a difficult and anxious time for everyone, but I found the management and staff, welcoming, friendly and supportive. During the past ten months, I have nothing but praise, as I see love, care and patience given to the residents and their families. They go beyond the excellent nursing and caring to provide fun activities and a homely atmosphere. Thank you all.

The family cannot thank enough all of the staff at Vicarage Court Care Home. The co-operation and guidance certainly made matters easier for us. My father was frail and needed the care and attention that was provided. He was happy with the staff who looked after him and made his stay very comfortable. We found the facilities were very clean, comfortable and kept very tidy.

Mum is looked after very well, she came in for respite and decided to stay. If she's happy we are happy. The staff are very nice and professional. We struggled at home with various aspects of care, but here everything is taken care of. Their philosophy is that this is the residents home and it's carried out to the letter. The managers, carers and ancillary staff must be very proud.

Wonderful staff, wonderful facilities and a really caring environment. A huge thank you to the team for their support, love and care. My sister in law was very happy there and she spent the last two years of her life in a caring and warm environment. With us living in another country, it was a blessing to know she was safe and cared for.

My sister was in the care home for two years. She was incredibly well cared for and looked after. Everyone at the home had a great relationship with her and were very helpful and communicative with the family. We would definitely recommend the Vicarage Court Care Home.

All the staff, carers, nurses, cleaners, activities coordinator, the handyman and the administration have delivered outstanding care to my husband. He has said he has been well cared for 24 hrs at times. We cannot thank them enough for the care and consideration they have given to my husband, in the time he has been a resident.

My husband is being looked after very well both physically and mentally. The staff are proactive and caring. I am very happy that as I cannot physically care for him, he gets the best possible care.

My husband has been a resident at Vicarage Court for the past six months. In that time, everyone who works there, from nurses and care assistants to admin staff and cleaners has built a relationship with my husband and all the family. Everyone genuinely cares for him, learning his ways and likes to give him a positive time in their care. Thank you.

When my mum had to go in a home, I was worried sick about all the bad reviews and negative comments about them but Vicarage Court have been absolutely brilliant. From all the staff and the food, it's been first class. My mum only needed to be in a few weeks but if it comes to her needing full-time care then this is the place that I would want her to go.

The manager really put us at ease. My dad was staying for two weeks respite. He said the staff were lovely and told us he would go in again when we needed a rest.

The standard of care shown in this care home has been extremely good, so far. My brother, who has learning difficulties, has settled well into the new environment, as staff are welcoming, caring and professional in all areas. His safety has been paramount and the management and staff have been very supportive. Drinks have been shown to be plentiful and his pureed meals have been well presented. He engages in the activities, which are varied, within his capabilities and he does not feel left out. A home well worth recommending.

My father (aged 94) was a resident for 4 years and throughout he has been treated with care, dignity, affection and made to feel part of the Vicarage Court Care Home family.

He was always keen to join in with the many varied activities. With a hearty appetite loved the home-cooked nutritious food. Every member of staff was kindness itself and I cannot recommend Victoria Court enough.

My brother-in-law has been in residence at Vicarage Court for several weeks and has been welcomed by a warm and caring staff. His dignity and his safety have both been a priority. He has settled in well and made many friends amongst what seems an endless flow of staff and familiar faces. Management staff and the trained nurses have always been supportive and readily available to speak to. It is good to see my brother-in-law involved in the many varied activities, even planting bulbs.

Having had two family members in this care home in the past we have been very disappointed with the lack of care provided to our mother. She was in the home for a total of four weeks respite which was to be made permanent but was asked to leave with two days' notice. Following visits by social services, mental health, and a doctor we were advised to move her to a safer place with nursing provided, such was the deterioration over the period of her stay. Pain management was too slow and poor. No help to feed, started incontinence which was not managed and developed thrush in her mouth and not diagnosed!

Reply from Jag Singh, Director at Vicarage Court Care Home

I am deeply sorry you feel this way and you have had a negative experience. Our aim over the fifteen years of operating the Vicarage is to provide the best possible care to those we support and it is something we take very seriously. This is why we have the ethos of only running one home and...
