My father spent nearly two years in what he called his "home", always "saying how well they looked after him". But for me and my family, we saw more than we ever expected. The staff were just so caring and thoughtful and interacted with my father and us on a regular basis. Nothing was ever too much trouble and we know they showed him respect, compassion, and support physically and mentally.
The consideration they gave to his last few days was more than miraculous, with him being given a separate room and receiving nothing but a first-class care service, with staff checking on him or sitting with him when we did not visit.

Our family cannot thank the home and all its staff enough for each individual who contributed to our father's life and gave us memories that will last.

Both my mother and father-in-law are at Bradley Care Home. The care and attention by the staff is excellent and also the support they have given us personally.
At extremely short notice (and I mean hours!) they have accepted Father-in-law after he wasn't happy at another home and the staff were just exceptional in settling him in at a busy meal time.

Thank you to the manager and three other staff members in particular, for going above and beyond for us all and all the carers and other staff. You really are appreciated. Thank you.

My mother was in residence at Bradley House during February and March, after being discharged from hospital. The care home manager and staff are both friendly and welcoming, however, staff shortages were experienced during her stay which I feel influenced the level of care being provided, in that things took a little longer as staff took care of the more needing residents first, correctly so.

Overall the care home provides a good resilient establishment, for those needing care.

Thank you very much for leaving a review, I would like to give you some feedback. Unfortunately, during your relative's stay at the home we experienced a covid outbreak. The home is not living with covid and are having to follow government guidelines to ensure that all resident stay safe, this...

Our mum has really settled in well over the past five weeks. This is mainly down to the very professional and very caring attitude of the staff. They certainly go the extra mile. The staff have always made us feel very welcome, both during personal visits and phone calls. They take the time to talk to us about my mum’s health and well-being. My family and I have every confidence in the care home and its staff. Our mum could not be better looked after. Thank you.

My mum arrived on the 5th of January '23 just before 9 pm for palliative care. From the moment she arrived, she was treated with dignity and respect, and this continued throughout her stay. The staff were all friendly, and nothing was too much trouble for them. Even at 3 am, when my mum was awake, they made her a cup of tea and some toast! Cannot fault her stay at Bradley House Care Home at all.

I always got a warm welcome on my visits to Bradley House. Mother was in there for nearly six years and in that time I found the staff helpful and friendly. I was always treated with respect and honesty. In return, I was always polite to the staff. I donated Mum's piano to the home, so that she could keep on playing as long as possible.

Mum was looked after brilliantly at the care home. Nothing was too much and the staff all has time for her. Both the manager and staff always made us welcome on visiting and took the time to have a chat to us. We would highly recommend the care home and won't hesitate to use it again if necessary.

My mother had been a resident in Bradley House Care Home for nearly three years. Sadly she passed away on 2nd December 2022, but during her time in the home up until her death, she was treated with the utmost care and dignity at all times. All the staff, from management to the care staff, were efficient and caring at all times and my mother's room was kept immaculately clean. They all loved my mum and she loved them, right up to her death, whereby the home represented at her funeral.

Mum moved approx twelve months ago due to previous care home closure. Since her arrival, the staff and management have been first class in looking after her needs and providing updates and information to us as a family. She has settled in extremely well and remains happy in her time at Bradley.

Much to our surprise, my dad has settled down beautifully. He loves the staff and they love him too. Couldnt ask for anymore from them. He enjoys the food and has even been known to socialise, which is very unusual, as he is usually very quiet.

My dad was very happy at Bradley house. He suffered from dementia, but he always looked content and well cared for and seemed genuinely fond of his carers and they of him. I am so pleased that Dad was able to spend the last year of his life in such a lovely, caring environment. My thanks to all the staff at Bradley House.

As one of the sons od a resident of the care home, I would just like to say my father was well-loved and cared for. I couldn't recommend any other care home other than this one. Each and every staff member who looked after my father treated him with absolute dignity and respect. They all deserve to be awarded with a medal. Thank you all, each and every one of you.

My mother was obviously very happy to be at Bradley House, especially regarding the carers and the excellent care she received. She always commented on how nice the food was. Her room was perfect for her needs, and it was nice that she was able to bring her possessions, pictures, etc to make her feel at home.

Everyone, from the top to the cleaners first class service, nothing was a problem to them. You are always treated with dignity. The home is perfectly clean, the rooms are first class, the food excellent and plentiful, would not hesitate to recommend The Bradley House to anyone. There is always encouragement to get the residents mixing socially with each other. Full marks to all the staff who work as a complete team.

Tammy
Tammy Job Title:Home ManagerJoined: 2020

Hi, my name is Tammy and I’m the manager at Bradley House Care Home.

I’ve worked in care for 30 years and have 15 years of experience in a managerial role. I have gained NVQ 4 and the Register Managers Award (RMA).

I have been the manager of Bradley House since September 2020.

I believe residents should feel at home when in our care as that is essentially what we are, their home.

Dignity and respect are what I hold high and instil in all of my hard-working staff.

In my spare time, I enjoy making memories with my family, whether it be taking the dogs for walks or going on holidays and I love nothing more than getting my nose into a really good book.

Kelly
Kelly Job Title:Senior AdministratorJoined: 2015

Hi, my name is Kelly and I work at Bradley House Care Home as a Senior Administrator. I have now been with the company for 8 years working in each of the homes in the group.

My role is office-based, supporting the home, manager, staff, and relatives. I thoroughly enjoy being a part of Bradley House, the care staff provide a nice relaxing environment, and my own tasks are varied, from processing wages to ensuring all staff are enrolled on adequate training for their role. No two days are the same!

It is also nice to have the opportunity to get involved and support the residents who often have a wealth of knowledge and stories to share.

When I am not in the office my two girls keep me very busy, we enjoy our weekend breaks and summer camping trips but also do love to just relax in our pj’s with treats and a good movie.

Amy
Amy Job Title:Carer/Relief Team LeaderJoined: 2014

Hey, my name is Amy Waller

I have been at Bradley House now for eight years and have completed many roles within this timeframe. I started as a cleaner then onto care. In 2021 I went on maternity leave and since returning from maternity leave I have now secured my role as relief team leader. I enjoy this role and ensuring that our residents have all the correct medication and help that they need. I have a little boy called Oakley John, who is also a massive part of the Bradley family. We enjoy popping into the home on our day off as Oakley’s cheeky little smile makes the resident's day. I enjoy baking and do like making cakes, cupcakes and all sorts of tasty little treats for our residents and will step in as cook when our amazing cook staff are on leave. In those 8 years, I have been a cleaner and a carer I have worked nights and days. Also, I worked in the kitchen for three years and really enjoyed this.

Kim
