This is the first time I've ever had a relative go into a care home, I need not have worried because everyone without exception has been brilliant!

My husband couldn't have had better care anywhere they are so kind to him and the whole family has loads of support!

I visit Bradley House Care Home regularly with my therapy dog, Ruby. It is our first therapy dog placement as Ruby only recently passed her assessment. We have been made very welcome by all the staff and treated with respect. The residents absolutely love Ruby's visits and always sneak her some treats. The residents that we visit are always very chatty and love to interact with myself and Ruby. The care home, in general, is a lovely place for us to visit, friendly, clean and modern. I hope to have a long association with Bradley House as a volunteer.

My mum was only in for emergency respite care, 8th January 2024 - 31st January when we needed 24-hour care for her.
I found all the staff at Bradley House Care Home professional and the standard of care was excellent. The care home was always clean, my mum was delighted with the excellent food and the care she received.

My communication with the staff was excellent and they always helped and addressed any concerns I had about my mum. They were also really lovely to my dad, who visited my mum every day and of course, was happy for her to be well enough to go home again. I'd like to say a big thank you to all the team at Bradley House for all the care, respect and help given to us all.

Mum has been in the care home for a few months now and has settled in well. She was unable to continue to live at home because of her declining physical and mental health. She has settled in well and the standard of care she receives is very good. The staff treat each resident as an individual with their own special needs. My communication with the staff is very good and they will always address any concerns I have with my mum and keep me informed.

Although Mum was only in for eight days for respite care, she sadly passed away there at the age of 98. The care and compassion shown to Mum and ourselves, and the dignity and respect given to her at the end, were excellent.

Since my mother-in-law has been in Bradley House Care Home the changes in her health and appearance have been changed dramatically. She had always been stubborn in thinking she could manage at home with everyday chores and caring for my father-in-law who has dementia. Now she is cared for by the fantastic care as at Bradley House she looked so well in his actually putting on weight. Highest praise for the manager and her team for all the care and support given

My father-in-law move to Bradley house care home after a long spell in hospital and the onset of dementia. The staff here have been very helpful and understanding (dad's dementia was sudden onset and totally unexpected). They put him at ease I made him feel welcome. It made a very difficult situation more bearable.

My mammy is completely in her element at The Bradley House. Loved and cared for is an understatement. Lovely food, bubbly and caring staff including management. My mammy is always clean and smart and always smiling. I would not want my Mammy anywhere else and neither would she want to leave. Thank you for everything.

Since our uncle has moved into Bradley Care Home he is much happier, he joins in with the weekly activities and seems to be really settled and enjoying his stay. Staff at Bradley are always on hand to help with any questions. When we visit, you're always greeted with a warm welcome. Bradley Care Home is like home from home and that shows through when you visit the home. Our uncle has come on leaps and bounds since being in Bradley and we will forever be grateful for the excellent level of care he receives.

Many thanks to all staff and managers, you all do an excellent job and that shines through when we visit.

Exceptional, is the one word that I can say about the care my mum received during her unfortunately short stay with Bradley House. From before she arrived from the hospital and throughout her time at the care home, the whole team were friendly, empathetic and at the same time professional.

Thank you for the attention and care you showed us and my mum.

My uncle is staying at the Bradley House Care Home, has been there nearly a year now and really enjoys it, he's always telling me how good the staff are and how they cheer him up and look after him.
He has a nice room overlooking the grass and trees and loves the squirrels that come to the feeder outside his window.
My uncle was a bit of a recluse and had lost a lot of weight but now he is his normal weight and his sense of humour has come back, it's lovely to see him laughing again and telling jokes. The staff are very caring and friendly and always come to see him with a smile.

Please pass on the family's thanks to all the hard-working staff.

The staff and facilities are second to none.
It's like a home from home, and I feel totally confident that Mum is in a safe, comfortable and wonderful environment.
Nothing is too much trouble, and I am kept informed of any changes/issues with Mum's health care.

A big thank you to all the team for making us all happy in Mum's twilight years.

Dad's room (mat on floor in case of fall), 3 meals a day, coffee tea juice (meds given), hygiene (change of clothes), taken for a walk (beds changed), COVID jab also flu jab if he wanted it (ring me, keep updated when needed) (nurse comes on visits). Also in other months, changed doctors and meds for Dad for me, had eyes checked, phoned when a bug was going round and when he had a fall.

Dad was very withdrawn when he arrived, he now looks a lot better than he has been for a long time, more like himself.

The care and support Mum received whilst on end-of-life care was above and beyond. She was treated with dignity and respect. As a family, we were given support and empathy throughout until Mum passed. We cannot thank them enough for all the staff contribution during one of the hardest times we had to go through.

Tammy
Tammy Job Title:Home ManagerJoined: 2020

Hi, my name is Tammy and I’m the manager at Bradley House Care Home.

I’ve worked in care for 30 years and have 15 years of experience in a managerial role. I have gained NVQ 4 and the Register Managers Award (RMA).

I have been the manager of Bradley House since September 2020.

I believe residents should feel at home when in our care as that is essentially what we are, their home.

Dignity and respect are what I hold high and instil in all of my hard-working staff.

In my spare time, I enjoy making memories with my family, whether it be taking the dogs for walks or going on holidays and I love nothing more than getting my nose into a really good book.

Kelly
Kelly Job Title:Senior AdministratorJoined: 2015

Hi, my name is Kelly and I work at Bradley House Care Home as a Senior Administrator. I have now been with the company for 8 years working in each of the homes in the group.

My role is office-based, supporting the home, manager, staff, and relatives. I thoroughly enjoy being a part of Bradley House, the care staff provide a nice relaxing environment, and my own tasks are varied, from processing wages to ensuring all staff are enrolled on adequate training for their role. No two days are the same!

It is also nice to have the opportunity to get involved and support the residents who often have a wealth of knowledge and stories to share.

When I am not in the office my two girls keep me very busy, we enjoy our weekend breaks and summer camping trips but also do love to just relax in our pj’s with treats and a good movie.

Amy
Amy Job Title:Carer/Relief Team LeaderJoined: 2014

Hey, my name is Amy Waller

I have been at Bradley House now for eight years and have completed many roles within this timeframe. I started as a cleaner then onto care. In 2021 I went on maternity leave and since returning from maternity leave I have now secured my role as relief team leader. I enjoy this role and ensuring that our residents have all the correct medication and help that they need. I have a little boy called Oakley John, who is also a massive part of the Bradley family. We enjoy popping into the home on our day off as Oakley’s cheeky little smile makes the resident's day. I enjoy baking and do like making cakes, cupcakes and all sorts of tasty little treats for our residents and will step in as cook when our amazing cook staff are on leave. In those 8 years, I have been a cleaner and a carer I have worked nights and days. Also, I worked in the kitchen for three years and really enjoyed this.

Kim

I returned to caring on days and then progressed within my role as team leader. I have an NVQ 3 in social care and hold a diploma in dementia care.

I have 3 grown-up children and 6 grandchildren who keep me busy outside of work. I enjoy my yearly Tattershall break with family like to play darts and love attending any events that Bradley households for residents and relatives.

I have many responsibilities as a senior, including medication, which I take seriously making sure our residents are fit and well is at the heart of what I do.

I have 3 children and a husband who I love making memories with in my spare time and enjoy catching up with friends when possible.

Colleen

I am currently working towards my NVQ2 so I can further myself in the industry.

I am a mum of 4 and I have 3 wonderful grandchildren who keep me busy in my spare time.
