Hi, my name is Sue I have worked as a night Carer at Coverdale Care Home for six months. I previously worked for the council in children's services for 40 years.

I worked as a home Carer before starting at Coverdale and enjoy the variety the job offers. I have a foundation degree and a care certificate.

Hello, my name is Breadon and I am a care assistant currently working at Cloverdale care home in Laceby. I have been part of the team since August 2022 and this has been my first encounter in the care industry. Before joining the team I had no previous experience in the sector but with support from other more experienced members of staff, I have developed into a valued and confident carer. I have a caring and compassionate attitude that is consistently demonstrated. I became interested in the industry at a young age as I have always been passionate about pursuing a role in nursing and feel like these are good steps to take to keep improving my confidence further and be able to do something that I thrive at.

I am Christina but everyone calls me Chrissie.
I have worked at Cloverdale for almost one year now as a domestic assistant.

I absolutely love my job.

I not only clean for the residents but I get to know them very well by having daily conversations and listening to their wonderful stories.

I also love singing and dancing with the residents this puts a smile on their faces.

At Cloverdale, we are fortunate in that we have a fantastic housekeeping team which is made up of four incredibly talented ladies who not only dedicate themselves to their job role but to the wellbeing of the residents too.

Sue came to Cloverdale as a care assistant in 2017 and she joined the housekeeping team a short while after as a laundry and domestic assistant. Sue thrives on socialising with the residents, her empathetic, caring nature ensures that she treats the resident's own rooms as she would her own home, paying attention to detail and making sure residents are safe and comfortable.

Jo has been a part of the Cloverdale family for 21 years. Jo started out as a care assistant for many years where she also trained to be a team leader before moving over to the housekeeping team and undertaking the role of laundry assistant.

Jo takes great pride in her work and always gives 200% effort in everything that she does. Jo is warm and friendly with a natural instinct to help the residents regardless of her role.

Laundering clothes for up to 40 people is a massive task particularly when many items are often not named. Jo works tirelessly to ensure clothes are cared for to the highest standard and returned to the right person.

Issy came to Cloverdale in 2018 as a domestic assistant. Issy has experience working in the care home environment for many years and she helps residents to make their rooms their own home, helping to organize nick-nacks and caring for residents' much-loved items as she would her own.

My name is Toni-Ann.

I have been offered an amazing opportunity of working at Cloverdale Care Home.

I don't currently have any health and social care qualifications but I am working towards achieving the care certificate and after that, I am hoping to gain NVQ 2 and 3 in Health and social care.

This is my first caring job. I hope that I will make new friends and learn new skills.

I am looking forward to meeting all of the families of the residents I care for as we don't see many people working nights, it is nice to get to know the people in the photographs in the residents' room.
