Mum came into Greenacres Care Home for a 2 week respite, after leaving hospital. Although she was still in discomfort the staff were wonderful, especially the young male senior, he went above and beyond, high praise to him indeed. If mum ever needed to go back into respite we'd definitely choose Greenacres again. A lovely team of caring people.
Thank you for your lovely feedback! It's great to hear that our team went above and beyond and that you would choose greenacres for any future stays. This positive feedback will be shared with the home.
Found the care home excellent. My wife had major surgery for a hip replacement and a broken femur bone. Not allowed to weight bare for a minimum of 6 - 8 weeks. All staff were polite, professional and understanding of our requirements and went above and beyond our expectations. Cannot thank them enough for what they have done and are still doing. Thank you!

I am a new resident and the care is excellent, as is the food and cleanliness. The manager goes beyond any expectations I had.
Thank you for such a wonderful review. We try our best to make you comfortable and enjoy life to the best of our ability.
I was extremely worried about the time coming when I would have to put my mum into a care home. When the time came, I knew that she had to be admitted, her safety, well-being and medical needs could no longer be met at home. I cannot thank everyone enough for the wonderful care, support and kindness they are giving to my mum. If only I had known I need not have worried. Greenacres has such a warm homely feel, it is not clinical, cold or frightening.
Thank you for taking the time to review our home. We try our best to be at the heart of family and the community and above all to allow your loved one to enjoy their lives in peace and safety, to be as independent as they can be.
I have been in Greenacres about a year. I am very satisfied.

I was happy with the care provided following my ankle injury, the staff were excellent and looked after my needs, especially as for six weeks I was unable to put any weight on my ankle. I was encouraged to go for meals in the dining area to make sure I was not stuck in my room 24/7. Overall thank you for the help in my recovery. I was also pleased to find out that I could go out with family at a weekend, just for a change of scenery.
Thank you for your recent review regarding your experience of care at Greenacres Care Home. We pride ourselves on person-centred care, going above and beyond to help you get through those difficult times and get you back on the road to recovery.

My husband has settled very well in this care home and is well looked after. I have every respect for the carers and management. Thanks so much, now my worries are over.
Thank you so much for your kind words, It is such a pleasure having your husband residing with us, he is such a lovely person and I always enjoy our chats when you come in to see him.
Lovely friendly staff, always happy to help when needed. Mum is always comfortable and says she is happy with her care. The staff will go the extra mile to give Mum the help and care that she needs. She enjoys her meals and the food is always of good quality. She is always washed, changed and presentable whenever we visit her. I would recommend Greenacres Care Home to anyone.
Thank you for taking the time in reviewing our service and the care your mum is receiving. We try to support both residents and families to enjoy time together, make friends and be part of their life journey, provide person-centred care and re-enable within the home and community.
Mum moved to Greenacres in May 2023. We initially had concerns about moving Mum from one care home to another because of her dementia. We are so pleased with how Mum has settled in. Greenacres is a calm, quiet environment, with several lounges for residents to choose from. The carers are helpful and have a lovely attitude towards residents. Mum's room is kept clean and tidy. Good communication between staff and family members. Mum is very happy.
We strive to provide the best care and personalise to individual needs.
We are so pleased that your loved one is experiencing a positive lifestyle and able to enjoy life to the best of their ability.
Unfortunately, my father died, so we moved Mum to be nearer family as Crowle is a bit far away.
Both parents were treated very well and ended up in a room together.
It was a privilege to have known your parents and cared for them for that period of time.
We rehabilitated where we could, to provide as much independence as we were able to, to make their lives as enjoyable as we could.
To have arranged birthday and anniversary celebrations at the home, making memories and smiles.
With regard to my care and getting me mobile they have kept me fully supported and motivated encouraging me with my exercises, etc.
The surroundings are very good and I would recommend the home to all.
We always welcome the support/feedback given to us as a team from our reviews.
This helps us to motivate the team and to improve on our services.
Very comfortable with a homely feeling and very helpful staff.
We try our best to support and re-enable residents wherever possible to lead independent lives and be able to go home.
Excellent care home. Cannot fault anything. Lovely staff. Warm, clean and friendly. Very organised and professional.
We strive to work closely with individuals to enable and improve independence and work closely with the social work teams, occupational therapists etc. to support.
It is always a pleasure that we are thought of by family and we try our very best in our home. We care.
Whilst my father has been staying at this care home, he has received the best care and attention. All members of staff I came into contact with have been very pleasant and polite and very supportive. Cannot find fault with anything.
We always try to keep in touch with residents when they go home from a short stay so that we know they are getting better and improving in their lives.
Thank you.
Friendly, down-to-earth staff.
Sympathetic and diplomatic in the handling of elderly people.
We take all comments on board to maintain and improve standards at Greenacres and to deliver an exceptional service that is family focused.
My mum left the hospital on the 27th of September 2022 and spent her final ten days in the loving care of Greenacres Care Home. I don't have enough words to describe the love, care and kindness that Mum received during her final days. The manager and every member of staff treated her with such kindness and dignity. She was kept comfortable at all times. As a family, we were helped every step of the way by keeping us up to date on all that was happening to Mum during each stage. We were welcomed by everyone and our needs were always taken into consideration.
Thank you for your review of our service at Greenacres Care Home.
We strive to provide the best quality of personal care and service we can and allow your loved one to be comfortable and for family to have their time with them.
We are always looking for ways of improving our service, we also try to keep staff informed because they are the caring team giving amazing care.
I have visited the resident during July and August. He seems comfortable in his room, staff passing his open door are always pleasant. I do think he should walk more, I know it's a staff problem but he could soon go off his legs, as my father did when he was in Greenacres.
We endeavour to support individual needs and also work within the scope of their Occupational Therapy/Physio care plan and choices.
The resident does walk using the aids he is assessed for, and is able to walk short distances within their limitations and is encouraged to do so.
We strive to regain independence within their means.
