The family look upon the period when she was receiving palliative care in the last two weeks of her life, as one of our most precious times with mum. We visited at all hours, were always made welcome and were cared for as well as Mum was. This home is neither posh nor institutionalised. When resident here you feel you are part of a large family where the staff, who are part of that family, happen to work.

I am the registered manager of Holly House Care Home, I have worked here for 40 years.
I like to know that the staff, service users and their families are comfortable coming to me with any issues they have and have an open-door policy.
I believe each person is an individual and should be treated as such, and that ensuring privacy, dignity and compassion are at the forefront in the home.
Sharon has worked at Holly House since 2011, she works as a team leader on days, she began working as a team leader on nights but after 3 years decided to make the change to a day team leader. Sharon has completed her NVQ 3 and continues to update her training as required to ensure she fulfils her role to the best of her abilities.
Lisa joined the team at Holly House in January 2024, she works alongside the manager her role is office-based, supporting the home, manager, staff, and relatives.
Jenny has worked at Holly House since 2019, she works as a Team leader and carries out this role on both nights and days.
Lynn has worked at Holly House since 2016, Lynn worked at our sister home and transferred from there to here, Lynn works nights full time and has carried out his role since she commenced employment at Holly House
Rebecca began working at Holly House in 2009, she has had various roles in the home since then, at the moment her role is as a day team leader .
Rebecca has worked hard and completed her training to be able to carry out this role to a high standard
