Having spent three years in Leeming Bar Grange my mother passed away in their care. They could not have been more caring or loving towards her. The care home truly became her home. As a visitor we always felt comfortable and knew she was well cared for and treated as an individual person.

Meet the Team (5)

Hi, my name is Kathryn, and I am the General Manager here at Leeming Bar Grange.
Thank you for taking the time to look further into what Leeming Bar Grange has to offer to you or your loved one.
Here is an opportunity to look at some of our staff team in the home, who all play a vital role in day-to-day life.
I have worked for the healthcare sector for over 14 years and bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the home. Within my previous role, I supported eight care homes to maintain and deliver training. Over the last two years, I have continued to expand my knowledge and support the homes in various different capacities and this has given me the drive to take on this new role. I am excited to work with the team at Leeming Bar Grange to continue to deliver the premier standard of care and to build strong working relations with the team and stakeholders involved.
The quality of care that all my residents receive is my passion and I aim to ensure that all the residents in my care receive the best and most person-centred care possible. If you are looking for care for yourself or a loved one, please do get in touch and I look forward to welcoming you to our home, you're always welcome!

Hello, My name is Lesley. I joined Leeming Bar Grange in September 2023 and became Deputy Manager in March 2024. I have worked in care since 2002 in different care settings.
I love the job I do and bringing a smile and often laughter to our lovely residents. It makes my job worthwhile.

Clare has worked at Leeming Bar Grange since November 2021. Clare has a wealth of experience in admin; commencing within this sector from leaving school. Clare states her favourite part about working at Leeming Bar Grange is the overall experience; from getting to know the wonderful residents, being part of a team with a great spirit, and the beautiful environment.

Hi, my name’s Julie and I have been working for Leeming Bar as Head Housekeeper since 2014. I enjoy working with the housekeeping team and I like talking to residents and making sure their rooms are clean and tidy. I want to help residents remain as independent as possible. I work hard to ensure that the home maintains Barchester's high standards and that we work to create a relaxed, personal atmosphere for residents, relatives and staff.

Hi, my name is Kimberley, Senior Activities Coordinator, and here at Leeming Bar our life enrichment programme is varied, providing choice for our residents and incorporating their interests and hobbies. We all know that keeping active is important. We have created a wonderful culture within Leeming Bar, and we work together to give residents the best possible experience.
We are here to ensure that residents enjoy an environment that is both stimulating and socially active. We ensure the team knows each resident's preferences so that we can deliver a person-centred program of events and activities. Essential to our homely feel is the strong relationships of trust we build with residents, and their families and friends.
