I visit my son in lifestyles 3 times a week and I also attend all the many social functions that they arrange and so I do know it very well. My son has been a resident there for 7 years. It is like a "home from home". All the residents are treated as individuals. Their physical and emotional needs are supported by very caring staff with patience kindness and dignity. I am made so welcome by all the staff who are so warm and friendly. The manager has chosen her staff well. There is such a good team spirit. My son is happy and so well cared for I leave him in such good hands which makes me happy too.

The staff at Lifestyles are caring and professional, they support my brother, as they do with all the residents, through their trials and tribulations with dignity and respect for their needs and preferences. The home itself is kept clean and tidy, with events laid on to provide a fun and inclusive atmosphere for all. I couldn't ask for a better situation, not only for my brother, but for myself as I know that he is being cared for to a standard often promised but not always met. I'm forever grateful.

I am very happy that my brother is living in Lifestyles. He is actively encouraged to be as independent as possible and is well cared for. The home is clean and tidy, and the family are always taken care of, and I never need to worry if he is ok.

Lifestyles is a lovely place; it’s clean with a great atmosphere. My friend really enjoys living there. The staff are amazing, kind and caring, and nothing is ever too much to ask for. The facilities are clean and comfy. The choice of meals is brilliant - a lot of variety to choose from! Five stars from me, Lifestyles!

My daughter is settled and happy at Lifestyles which she now calls her home. This was very marked as we returned from a short holiday to Bournemouth recently. She referred several times to looking forward to going home and seeing residents and staff, whom she had missed, even though she had enjoyed the holiday and our time together.
Her social confidence is steadily increasing and several times she took the lead and ordered our meals and coffees. This, I believe, is due to the gentle encouragement and opportunities the staff create for social interaction both within the home and the community.

The staff work as a team to meet the physical, practical, and emotional needs of all in their care. My daughter thinks that Lifestyles is an enlarged family home where she is safe and can ask for help if she is concerned or worried. The positive impact that living at Lifestyles has had on my daughter and my well-being is overwhelming. I do appreciate the care she receives.

My brother has lived in the care home for many years. It is a lovely friendly home just like one big happy family. They have just recently decorated it and it looks beautiful. They always make you welcome.

When I visit Lifestyles the staff informed me how my brother was doing. My brother said that the home was "feeding me lots and catering for all his needs". The home had a lovely smell, it too was clean and tidy. But what more can I say other than it was excellent.

I am a quirky, unique, vibrant individual. I often have different hair colours and like to dress in a way that shows my bright personality, as I like to think expression is an impression. I have always naturally been drawn to helping people and chose to take this into my career choice. I gained the required qualifications and became the registered manager of Lifestyles in 2009. I strive with purity and humility to ensure I provide love and care in a holistic person-centred way. I genuinely do feel this is a vocation, not simply a job or career.
