In addition to cosy seating areas where residents can relax or catch up with visitors, the bedrooms are comfortable and spacious, and each has an en-suite bathroom. Some open onto the secure gardens, which are lovely for enjoying some sunshine or bird watching.
Fees are subject to a pre-admission needs assessment which is required to fully understand the level of care and support required by each individual. Premium rooms normally require an additional charge. Nursing fees include the Funded Nursing Contribution (FNC) if you are eligible.

mam has been here for over 2 years now. we find the staff very helpful and nothing is a bother to them. We have found the new manager has made a lot of changes for the better. If we have a problem with anything a staff member will take the time to explain and answer any questions we may have.

My mom has been here for a while now . All the communal areas are very well decorated and welcoming. 99% of the staff are amazing always very chatty and helpful nothing is ever a problem they are very hard working.They are encouraging and empathic. The wellness programme is fabulous at the beginning of each week residents are given a sheet with all the activities of which there are many, morning, noon, and night. Sometimes bringing in outside people for singing, sports exercises. The wellness lady always goes above and beyond is extremely patient and caring. The floor leader of my mams floor is always ready to help and deal with any queries or concerns. From the domestics right up to management, they have always got a friendly smile and approachability about them. I would highly recommend this home to any relation looking to put their lived ones in a home.

Every thing is good. Very satisfied with the care my mother receives. A small thing it would be nice to have an extra chair to sit on when visiting her in her room. The interior is well kept and regularly updated and replaced.

As a person with experience in Adult Social Care finding that perfect setting with my mother and siblings was the hardest responsibility I have ever had to undertake, we contacted Hadrian House and my mother viewed the following day and her response "Can I move in now". The environment - home from home, food amazing, care staff fabulous. Sadly mam had a serious turn for the worse, off to A&E, I called in a few days later with the sad news, without hesitation, the manager said "Bring her home", I could not be more proud or thankful to hear such words and we will be forever in debt, a new room, breakfast for our family on arrival, nothing was to much trouble, just so much attention to detail, care above and beyond from all, empathy, love, patience and a smile, staff tolerated our silly Jokes, stories and memories, as we struggled as a family sitting at our beautiful mother's bedside waiting for the moment she would leave us for the final time. My nan and her little dog were cared for with the utmost attention and dignity by all the staff at Hadrian House. My nan had not wanted to go into a care home, of course mainly because she was initially unable to be with her beloved dog. But, staff at Hadrian House were more than supportive of her dog being able to move into the home with her and made it so that both were able to live comfortably at the home. This made my nan so happy in her final year. Thanks to Hadrian House we knew my nan was safe and with kind and patient carers. The staff were good at liaising with us, the family, and showed genuine care and concern for all of us. We felt supported until the end (and even beyond that). We would recommend Hadrian House to anyone who was considering it.

Before becoming Home Manager, I spent three years as Deputy Manager at Armstrong House, and my biggest career highlight has been progressing within Care UK for almost ten years. Moving into my first Home Manager role reflects my dedication, growth, and the trust placed in me to lead, maintain high standards of care, and make a meaningful difference for residents and colleagues.
I chose to work for Care UK because of its strong commitment to high-quality, compassionate, person-centred care and the supportive environment it creates for both residents and staff. As a Home Manager, I believe it’s essential to be open, approachable, a good listener, and to lead by example while encouraging others to develop their skills and confidence.
My favourite part of the day is when a resident smiles at me, knowing that the team and I have made a positive difference in their day. Those moments are incredibly rewarding and remind me why I do what I do.
Outside of work, I enjoy baking, shopping, and going on long walks with my husband and our little daughter.
