This home has provided excellent care for many years and all staff care deeply about all in their care. The communication during this awful time has been impeccable. This has been both stressful for staff and residents as they have had limited communication with families, and the introduction into the
relative viewing pod is amazing. The residents are always happy and exceptionally well cared for. All nutritional needs are catered for and they are always implementing new ideas to ensure residents maintain good hydration. During the pandemic, staff have entertained the residents and many live shows have taken place, come rain or shine. It is so nice the residents smiling and I would have gladly, have Springfield house care for me and my family if ever we require it. Would definitely recommend to anyone who requires care in the future. Thank you Springfield House.

My father was only at the home a short while but contacted Covid and died. We were not told that the Home had Covid issues. He was extremely unhappy during his stay there and died alone during the night despite needing constant care. The police told us of the death. When he died no one from the home
contacted us for 6 days and when asked by the undertakers where the body was we were unable to tell him. We asked for two items of my father to be kept for us to collect - a mobile phone and a family photo album which was very precious. When we arrived we were told that these items could not be found and after a lengthy search, they were deemed to be lost. My father kept his financial information on his mobile phone and so the funds in his account could not be accessed to pay his outstanding bills and funeral costs. The photo album contained all our memories of my dad. A total mess from start to finish and I would urge anyone thinking of sending a loved one here to think again.

We are all extremely sorry for your loss, completely understand that you are currently grieving, our thoughts and prayers are with your family at this difficult time. We are all so sorry that our Management team could not assist you in ‘obtaining access to your late Fathers bank accounts’, without power of attorney or legal authority, or to subsequently locate his broken phone ‘to enable you to access his personal passwords.’ As we repeatedly advised, you should inform your late father’s bankers of his death and not attempt to access his accounts without the required legal authority (notifications to financial establishments). We do not understand why you have chosen to write such lies & unfounded negative comments, e.g. It was an NHS Paramedic that contacted yourself, not the Police. To score our services like this when you have never visited, witnessed, or met any of the dedicated 52 employees who have all worked selflessly throughout a Global crisis to provide & maintain outstanding award-winning levels of care and service. A Team who has quite unquestionably gone above and beyond throughout these unprecedented Global times.

I'd like to thank the staff at Springfield for their dedication and care shown to my Aunt and everyone else during 2020. Although we haven't been able to visit directly the visiting booth is a most welcome addition and the regular photographs, video and calls have kept the family fully informed (and
entertained) throughout the year. My Aunt has made many new friends and looks so well it's so heartwarming to know that she is surrounded by such lovely caring people. Happy New Year.

During Covid my mam had to go into a home. Never seeing or meeting anyone from the home we trusted her into their care. They were fantastic and supported the family throughout. The care and safety they are providing is excellent and we can't thank them enough. My mam hasn't looked as happy and entertained
in years. We definitely would recommend Springfield House to any families facing this difficult time. Thank you.

I cannot thank the staff at Springfield House enough for the outstanding care my aunt is receiving, particularly through these difficult times. It is fantastic to see regular updates on Facebook, the photos show her (and all residents) looking relaxed and happy, which is so reassuring whilst we can’t

My mother has been at Springfield House since Jan 20 and I am delighted that I chose this home to care for her. The home is kept exceptionally clean, there are fun activities every day and the staff are so kind and caring. Even though unable to visit at the moment, they are happy for me to ring to see
how she is or speak to her when possible. I can also follow on Facebook with daily photos of residents enjoying the excellent entertainment programme.

We chose Springfield House based upon excellent reviews of this care home, and how right they were!
After unexpectedly losing my mother, we were reluctant to place Dad in residential care, especially during a global pandemic! But we need not have worried, as the care given to my dad has been second
to none.
The outstanding management and care team have shown professionalism, friendliness, dignity, compassion and support, towards both my dad and our family. They offer a scrupulously clean, caring, and stimulating environment for their residents.
Springfield House has not allowed challenging circumstances to deter them from providing regular entertainment and treats to keep everyone (both staff and residents), happy and focused on living life to the full. They are unstoppable in their quest for exceptional care to vulnerable adults. I feel blessed to have found this lovely place for Dad.

I have visited Springfield on many occasions. There just aren't the words to describe how comforting it feels to know that my loved one is in such capable hands. Members of staff treat all of the residents with both dignity and respect, and it's lovely to see. My loved one takes part in the many activities
that are on and is genuinely happy. The staff here have been wonderful with not only my loved one but also with me and have made this transition so much easier for me and my family. I couldn't have wished for a better place for her to be.

My Mum has been in care for the past 6 years and I would not want her living anywhere else than Springfield House. The staff, from the Manager to the cleaners, carers, kitchen staff and all connected to the home are all excellent, caring and kind. The home is clean, food excellent and lots of activities
and interests for all residents. I see my mum enjoying her life in a caring, happy place.

As a frequent visitor to Springfield House and with conversations with my aunt and other residents, I am always impressed with the level of care and respect accorded to those living in the home.
The staff are dedicated to the well-being of those in their care, the home is always well-presented and
there is always a comprehensive array of activities that the residents can participate in. The location is perfect - easy access from the locale, yet well situated with views of the local cricket ground to provide a peaceful and relaxing ambience. Combine this with a healthy and varied menu and you have the ideal solution for those who need care in their later years.

We wish to express our gratitude for the care and support that our mum has received on becoming a resident of Springfield House. My brothers and I have witnessed our mum flourish and become a much happier person and are reassured that she is cared for holistically. Springfield staff's knowledge and
first-hand experience has enabled myself and my brothers to come to terms with the whole process of mum's condition. It is through their help and support I have ultimately been given my life back and enjoying quality mum and family time once more.

Must compliment the staff at Springfield House for the hard work they do, credit where credit is due! The atmosphere is always vibrant and everyone appears to be happy in their work which is lovely to see. The home is clearly very well Managed and its lovely to see so many happy faces no matter what

Just a quick thank you to all of the staff at Springfield House. Only experienced the home for a month's respite but Granddad's care was excellent. Everyone was extremely friendly and made us all feel very welcome at all times. No hesitation in recommending your excellent service to others. Well done

I have visited Springfield House many times over the last six years to see my friend. He absolutely loves the staff and feels right at home. If I ever need the care he requires I will moving in. Lovely people.
