Parkville Care Centre

In my experience I have found park ville care home,a wonderful and professional place with outstanding staff and management. Place that you can feel relaxed and secure knowing your loved ones will be cared for with love and respect.You can walk away feeling at ease and no worries that all is OK. I found the manager professional in all her dession making.Her dedication to her job is a 100%.

Went to Parkville to visit my husband's cousin. When we arrived we were at door a staff member answered very friendly and smiling. She showed us to cousin's room and asked if we would like a cup of tea or coffee, so polite. Our cousin was so happy, he told us he loves living here, he loves the staff. Went to the manager's office to ask how he was doing, and they were great, door was open, and they invited us straight in and were so happy and polite.

Care staff are friendly, can't do enough to help, management are so friendly and door is always open and available to talk. Diamond Unit is lovely, residents liked to talk to me when I visited my cousin.

Caroline, the activities lad,y is amazing. She knows all the residents and their families and friends. She always includes us in her daily activities. I sometimes feel she is putting so much effort for nothing as she sometimes gets no interaction from the residents. This doesn't deter Caroline though, she is always upbeat. I was visiting my mum just before Christmas and we all had to pick an elf's name. What a laugh we had. I used to be a catering manager for a large care provider and went to 103 of our homes. I've never met anyone as enthusiastic as Caroline. She's a ray of sunshine.

I have been visiting Barbara for some time now, and have found that both the staff and atmosphere of the building are very good. They have helped Barbara maintain good health. She has been happy.

A good care home my husband is always treat with dignity and respect the staff have always made us feel very welcome and give us our privacy when visiting.the careworkers and nursing staff are really good even the domestic workers are really friendly.

The staff are professional, friendly and attentive to nanna, the living environment is clean enough and it feels safe. The food quality is lacking and the portions are small though.

My mum has now been in this care home for 7 months and I am so happy she has settled in really well now. The care she is receiving is really good, and all the carers and nursing staff are so good with her. If we have any problems the management are always there to help. The only concern is maybe the food choice menu which could be improved.

Both of my grandmothers have lived here at Parkville, one who unfortunately passed away here in 2008. I am very happy with the care my grandma is receiving, she has settled in really well and the care team and management are always there and happy to help.

My mother-in-law has been here for 7 months and I am very pleased with the way she has been looked after. The care is good, the place is clean and the staff and management are very friendly. The only thing that could be better is the food that is provided.

My mum has recently moved to Parkville. After losing a lot of faith in care settings due to a previous very bad experience I'm blown away. After just a short time already Parkville has given me my mum back. Parkville has ticked every box, the staff are incredibly attentive and treat my mum with the utmost respect and care, going above and beyond to ensure her comfort and happiness, there is a whole home approach from all levels of staff. Person centred care is practiced which is making every day feel meaningful. The home itself is very clean and gives me a very welcoming, supporting family environment. The choice of meals is fantastic. I feel completely at ease knowing my mum is in a safe, supporting environment. The management team are always approachable and open to feedback. The staff are very friendly and helpful every time I come. Residents are well looked after and you can see they are all cared for well. Carers have a good relationship with residents so you know your friends and family are well looked after.

Came to visit my sister and it is quite easy to take her to the garden in a wheelchair and the lift is good to use. The staff are friendly and helpful and polite.

Lovely care home, friendly staff and very helpful. My mum is happy and settled.

Generally good care. Dad entered Parkville in January 2023 and over the first few months some settling in was needed. The garden in the Sapphire unit needs tlc with fag butt clean up etc. but is improving. More staff in the Sapphire unit will help the lovely staff cope better. Laundry should be a bit better and things go missing regularly. However, feel secure that Dad is looked after and has dignity in his care now.

Place very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful, couldn't do enough for the residents. Always had a smile on their faces. Plenty of entertainment to keep the residents occupied. Only downside the food is not great, but still tried to please you with another choice.

It was my mother who stayed in the home. Staff were lovely, very helpful. The home was very clean and tidy. The staff always had a smile on their faces. The entertainment kept the residents occupied and happy. Only problem: the food was monotonous, not much variation, but they still went out of the way to accommodate you if you wanted something else.

His hygiene and personal care were excellent, as was the home. This home has a very high standard and I would recommend it to anyone.
