Elton Hall is located in attractive grounds in a peaceful setting, and is within 2 miles of both Darlington and Stockton.

This grand stately home provides accommodation in a 66-bedded Care Home specialising in high-quality care for the Elderly Residential and EMI Residential Service Users.

Residents may benefit from relaxing in the gardens with the charming rose garden and patio area.

Residents may benefit from the weekly visits made by a hairdresser, as well as visits from a chiropodist every 6 weeks. Residents may also request visits from a dentist and optician.

The home provides a monthly on site hymn service where visiting clergy officiate.

Further services offered include a monthly mobile library visit with talking books, personal laundry service and manicures & make-up sessions.

Indoor activities often include armchair activities and exercises, sing-a-longs, card and board games, arts and crafts

My mum and dad have been in Elton Hall for about 18 months and I have nothing but praise for the management and staff. They have been made to feel welcome and the staff have gone out of their way to look after them as a couple, despite some difficulties.
They have a very nice shared room and have
settled in well. They are kept clean and well dressed and despite mum missing her salads, the food is good. I visit regularly, I am always made to feel welcome and kept informed. I get contacted if there are any issues and communication is very honest and clear. This is important to me as I live the other side of the country. The bedrooms and living areas are kept spotlessly clean, the staff are friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. There always seems to be something going on with entertainment and outings. Whilst I would not have chosen to put mum and dad into a home, I could not imagine a better place for them. I know they are safe, comfortable and very well looked after.

We found Elton Hall after a poor experience in a former care home. An internet search for CQC ratings turned up Elton Hall. A viewing followed and it was very welcoming. On arrival with Dad it was instantly like home. The team are absolutely brilliant with Dad and they recognise his increasing needs.
They also have great social events to help interaction.

I was placed in Elton Hall by my social worker following 2 periods in hospital. I had been sectioned at a mental health facility and have been diagnosed as having Korsakoff's Dementia and being Bipolar. The management and staff have been very understanding of my condition and have supported me in my
road to recovery.

From the very first day I visited Elton Hall I was impressed with all staff.
Their caring dedication, everyone always smiles and greets you.
From management and overall they all do the best for everyone in their care.
Compared to other care homes it is 5 stars all the way.
If all care homes were
like Elton Hall, getting old in this country would not be a worry. Amazing.

From when my grandson moved into Elton Hall in August 2017, I have been very impressed with every member of staff I have met. Every one of them treats residents and resident's families as part of one big loving family. My grandson has many problems but is treated with dignity, love and expert care from
all members of staff and management. He is very happy at Elton Hall and I would not hesitate to recommend Elton Hall.

My experiences of care homes prior to Elton Hall had not been entirely favourable.
However, since my Mother in Law entered she has visibly improved in her demeanour and outlook, has never complained about her care, food or the facilities and has waxed lyrical about the outings she has been on.
I wholeheartedly
recommend Elton Hall.

He has come on leaps and bounds since his time here.
Management are very good.

On visiting Elton Hall to visit my mother in law. I have to say it is a very good home. The staff are very friendly, always have time for a chat and any concerns of issues are addressed either there and then or soon after. The rooms are nice and clean and safe. There is always something going on for
the residents. Overall I feel it is good value for money.

I find staff very friendly and helpful. If there is a problem, it is sorted right away. Residents are not just left to sit, there are trips out and entertained in the home. The home and people are kept clean and warm.

I find the staff friendly and helpful. My Mam has been in for a few months now. The carers go out of their way to support and help you. The senior staff are amazing. I have found it difficult at times to let Mam go. The staff have supported me all the time. It is one big family and I love to visit and
chat with everyone.

I find the management and staff very sociable. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they treat residents with dignity, take them for walks, museums and the cinema. You name it, they do it. Couldn't get a more suitable home that matches Elton Hall.
