I have visited a friend who is a resident. As a former care home employee I was very impressed by the staff approach and care of the residents. My friend has shown lots of encouragement where needed and apporapriate support. The home stands out as being very well maintained and presented. Exceptionally clean and tidy. Plenty of staff at hand and very welcoming.

The staff were amazing getting our mother settled in on her discharge from a short stay in hospital. She has settled really well and is joining in on the majority of activities.

The home is set in beautiful grounds and the views from all the windows are trees and gardens which she can safely walk around.

We are always made welcome on visits by all the staff and quickly brought up to date on what she has been up to.

A big thank you to all the staff for all your care and support.

Mam was an independent, strong, self motivated woman, until she wasn't.
In January we were hit with the realisation that mam was no longer able to physically help herself, she and we needed help to help her.
Ingleby Care Home came into our lives, and in all honesty neither of us knew how this would work, we soon found out.
Ingleby is a unique and special place, the people that keep it going day and night are the heart of its community. Care is an understatement, all the Team work extremely hard every minute of the long days, yet they all wear the biggest smiles, have an abundance of patience, and simply cannot do enough to make you and your loved one feel safe.
They are passionate about their roles, treat their residents like their own family, make you feel quite simply, at home.

Mam was fortunate to spend the last weeks of her life there, where she was shown dignity and respect. She herself praised them daily, Ingleby Care is a unique place filled with special people. Thank you

My father really never wanted to go into a care home but realised it was time he did. HE settled in straight away and felt all the staff were lovely to him. He didn't like joining in with activities, unfortunately but really enjoyed all the food. As his daughter, I was always made to feel welcome and felt Dad was safe and well cared for. I have happily recommended your care home to a number of people.

I can only say that everyone I have met so far in the home have been extremely helpful, socialble and professional. All the staff are friendly normally have a smile on their faces and cannot do enough for people in their care and for visitors. The building itself is always well presented and clean with various areas for people to get out of their rooms. Wildlife around the home is abundant so they most like it as well!!

The staff are amazing. We are so happy with the care that our Nanny is getting. The staff are all so kind and friendly and go above and beyond to make sure that Nanny is comfortable and has everything she needs. The activities they run are great and hearing her talk about all the things that she's been up to is really wonderful, and it's certainly clear that she's happy there!

My husband has been a resident for over 7 years. He loves living at Ingleby Care Home. The staff are amazing, nothing too much for them Always have a smile and always friendly. All residents are well looked after, staff have a very caring attitude. Rooms regularly cleaned. Excellent housekeeping. Food variable and good quality. There has not been a manager for a number of months but in my opinion, the staff have coped very well without one.

The staff at Ingleby Care Home are amazing.
They really were like family to my mum for the almost four years that she lived in their care.
They were loving, kind, compassionate and caring to my mum. The way that they interacted with her, it is obvious that it is more than a job but a vocation to the staff.
My mum was very happy in her final years and this is due to the care she received.
When Mum's time came, the staff treated her with such compassion and dignity that I was overwhelmed and incredibly grateful. They were also amazingly supportive to me at such a difficult time.

I will always owe them a huge debt of gratitude.

An astounding home. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. Mums dog was allowed to visit her every day in her room. The food was fantastic. Mum was only there for a month but when mum needs permanent care, we will definitely use Ingelby care home. A special thanks to Andy and Pam who always went the extra mile

My mam is 91; she's been in the care home since August 2021. She went in for respite care and some rehabilitation and decided to stay as she was made to feel safe and very welcomed. The surroundings are amazing. The staff are wonderful, from the sister in charge to the person emptying the bins, nothing is too much trouble. My mam is treated like a princess from waking up in the morning to going to sleep, nothing is too much trouble, and for that, I'm truly thankful.

They should have 10-stars.

Mum is 90 with advanced Parkinson’s and other medical issues. She was in Ingleby care home in Lamb Lane for about a month. The staff were wonderful, nothing was too much trouble. I was impressed before she went in when the supervisor phoned for information about mum’s likes and dislikes, times she liked to get up and go to bed every effort made to get her what she liked and so well looked after. She nearly gained a toyboy but he had recently got married. The staff all of them showering and then helping with her hair…..her right hand cannot grasp….so it is difficult……..they were amazing going over and above. So great with her. They should have 10 out of 10. Thank you everyone.

My Mum has been a resident for nearly 9 years and we have always had 100% trust in the Manager and Staff of Ingleby Care Home. They provide a caring service and I have no idea how they have managed to keep going through all the COVID-19 times. My mum has been a resident in Ingleby Care Home for over 8 years and has progressed from residential to EMI care. Throughout these many years both my mum and our family have been treated with dignity, care and compassion by the wonderful staff and care home manager, who have always done their very best to ensure that she is cared for to the best of their ability and often gone above and beyond to make her feel comfortable and safe. It has been especially hard for everyone during Covid-19 and lockdown, and despite the fact that we are unable to visit her which is so very sad, the staff and management team have done an incredible job of keeping both residents and staff safe and well, which has been extremely difficult for everyone, but so very much appreciated by us relatives, knowing that our loved ones are being cared for and kept safe at this time. We as a family cannot thank them all enough, and so look forward to the day when we will once again be able to see our loved ones.

What can I say but brilliant. The manager has been vigilant of the situation and understanding. The staff are exceptional, caring for all the residents, supporting and keeping their spirits up. They have organised an outdoor singalong which allowed us to join in on the road. We are now able to visit our mam in the garden, a distance apart. I can't thank everyone enough you have done brilliant work.
