Overall Experience

I have been visiting the home from June, I find the staff very friendly and helpful. The residents are well looked after and they all seem to be happy and content. They have activities on and they are always bringing the tea trolly round and in my opinion, this is a very clean and happy place to be.

I have been delighted since Dad first arrived. Dad and I both had a positive experience of 'Willow View Care Home'. I find 'ALL' the staff, amazing, kind, caring, informative and helpful. The seniors are brilliant with answering any questions in a clear manner and they are extremely professional. I find the mature care of staff remarkable - patient, kind, willing etc. and the younger carers are brilliant too. I find that Dad is superbly cared for and he has thrived on regular meals and 24-hour supervision. One district nurse very recently said (unprompted) that the home was the best out of the 11 she goes to and she doesn't know where they get their brilliant staff.

I cannot praise Willow View enough. Their continued care in loving attention given to a not very easy old person was superb. The staff were invariably friendly and nothing seemed too much trouble for them, the quality and level of care was excellent. My relation was happier than he had ever been whilst being cared for at Willow View.

Review from Abigail M (Granddaughter of Resident) published on 13 April 2016 Submitted via Postal Card
Overall Experience

Regarding my granddad, our family feel very happy with the care given by staff at Willow View. He is well fed, clean and looking healthier than he has done for years. We feel relaxed knowing granddad is being so well looked after, as we were caring for him at home and found it difficult to let others care for him. One issue is the space in his bedroom, he has some large equipment, but there may be a possibility of transferring him to a larger room. Staff were also fast to respond to medical issues which is great. Overall, we are pleased with the care given at Willow View. Thank you.

I find this care home very war and friendly whilst also being professional. The boxes below have been filled in by the resident as it is he that can answer most honestly. I am certainly happy with the care hi is given and he's happy that is the most important thing.

Firstly I would like to highly commend the Manager and her staff team of Willow View for the excellent way in which they have helped my Dad settle into the home so quickly and the kind words that they use to describe him and the warm and approachable way they make us feel every time we visit. They always show respect but also have a sense of humor in the way that they communicate to my Dad and us which goes along way in making this home an ideal choice for him.

The home is spotless and does not have any unwelcome odors as you enter the building. My Dad is always saying how good the food is and he gets a choice at every meal time.

The staff have ideally sat my Dad at meal times with other male residents in the home and in the lounge area helping them to strike up a friendship. They chat daily about football and even have football fixture sheets so they are kept updated on who is playing who.

Sky football would further enhance this in the lounge if ever possible.

I cannot praise this care home enough. As soon as we walked through the main door we are so welcomed by the manager. My father-in-law looks fresh faced and has a big smile on his face and we know that he is well looked after. This is peace of mind for us. Lovely and clean and most of all the staff are caring , friendly and so helpful!

This care home is definitely worth a mention. My mother spent 10 days in respite. The staff were lovely, very welcoming and she was treated as if she was 'their mother' and not a resident in a care home. Very well looked after, staff would sit and talk to her. We were asked about her family, working life, pets etc. so that they could chat to her about her life. Very clean place (no smell) food good and room lovely. Staff brilliant. 10 out of 10. Would definitely recommend xxx
