From the outset, we found Newton Grange staff to be helpful and easy to deal with. We were invited for a visit where we were shown the available room, facilities, dining areas etc. During the visit, the staff were very attentive and we were given as much time as we liked. NG staff then visited my mother
at a different home and spent a good deal of time getting to know her. We all agreed that NG was the place for Mum. Since moving in, Mum has settled well and enjoys all the trips and activities. She has also made some friends among the residents. NG staff are always attentive to Mums' medical, social and general well-being needs. NG has the atmosphere of an elegant small country hotel. When visiting, it is very easy to make trips to the local villages etc. We're very happy with NG.

My mum came into the home as an emergency as she was distressed when at home, especially when alone - since Mum has been in Newton Grange the change in Mum has been significant. She is happy most of the time as she has thrived since coming here. The company has made a huge difference. The level of care
is spectacular - it's very homely, the food is lovely - Mum's room is very homley and clean.

"Letting Mum go" after 20 years of living with me was very difficult. Newton Grange is home from home. Wonderful staff - warm and friendly always caring. She's transitioned well & already sees it as her home.

Lovely residential care home. Small and feels luxurious yet homely, nice airy lounge with sea views, lovely decor in the dining room. Mum's room is large with an en-suite and sea view. Staff are caring and lots of activities are provided including choir, outing, exercise, hairdresser and arts and crafts.,
Family made to feel welcome. This was the only home I liked and I'm pleased with my choice as it's a 'home from home' I recommend.

Fantastic building situated on a hill overlooking mumbles with sea views throughout. Clean and beautifully furnished, comfortable communal sitting area, dining area and well equipped bedroom with own en-suite. Very homely, good food. Care plans could be shared more with family as updates and communication
is helpful but staff are very good with residents and family. We are always made to feel welcome and offered a cup of tea. The activities are great. Mum us as happy as can be.

I had been unwell for a period of time and was unable to visit dad, the support they showed my dad as I know he was missing me so the home very kindly arranged to contact me via my phone and I was able to see and speak to him and he was able to do the same. I honestly think this helped speed up my recovery
as I was so happy and thankful for all the lovely carers that work at his home. They show him care, friendliness, comfort and dignity at a very difficult time of my dad's life.

My father has been a resident of this care home for the past year. They are truly amazing, he is loved, well cared for, safe and happy. I cannot give one negative comment. This is a care home of the most highest standard and I never have to worry regarding his care and happiness. Just amazing on all

They are extremely good at their job and are warm and caring. My mum is very content and happy at the home and I can't tell you

My Mum fell and broke her hip in August 2023. It was such a difficult and upsetting time knowing the family could not provide 24/7 care to keep my Mum safe and well. The thought of my Mum going into a care home was so daunting. My Mum is from Mumbles so when Newton Grange was suggested a visit was arranged.
We had the warmest welcome and we were so impressed with the home that was immaculate and had a lovely family feel. We met some of the residents who all seemed happy and content. My Mum has now lived there for over a year. The staff are amazing, thoughtful, and professional. As I cannot be there every day staff send me photos of Mum when she has had a haircut, or she is out enjoying herself on an activity. This is so appreciated. I visit and my little dog (who my Mum adores) is always welcomed (by the staff and other residents who are always happy to see him). My Mum has made many new friends here who I have also become very fond of. Knowing my Mum is safe and cared for is priceless.

From day one the staff were very friendly and helpful. The care that is given is amazing. The house is beautiful and the room was amazing with incredible views. It feels like a home from home. My mother enjoyed delicious home-cooked food.

As someone who lives across the country, having access to my mum via the telephone is essential. The staff have always been super helpful and informative and very caring too. The home is beautiful and I feel assured at how well cared for she is. They have a residents line which has been a lifeline for
chatting to my mum and I can see via their social media account all the lovely activities that are going on for her to participate in when she can.

My mum was at Newton Grange for only eight months before she passed away. The care she received was exemplary. This is a lovely, homely and friendly home. I was there most days, visiting, and one of the things that impressed me so much was that there were always the same staff. The food was amazing
and lovely homemade treats every day for tea. My mum especially enjoyed the activities and entertainment on offer. You can never be bored at Newton Grange! The staff handled my mum’s end-of-life care with love and compassion, for which I will be forever grateful.

My brother has been so well cared for by all the staff at Newton Grange. He feels settled and at home here and certainly enjoys his food. He has the freedom to stay in his room or go down to the lounge and decide for himself what he chooses to do. The staff go over and above the line of duty to give
him the best quality of life his health permits and he enjoyed his birthday treat out. We are very pleased and grateful for the support he receives.

My grandmother came to Newton Grange in December 2022. There is no other home that comes close to Newton Grange. The wonderful and dedicated staff, the friendly and sociable residents and the happy atmosphere. Granny has settled in very well and always has a smile on her face. We are so happy that she
feels comfortable and peaceful. The incredible manager who is always there to help and support us and makes us feel like one big family.
