My partner and I have been visiting a very close friend who is a resident of Newton Grange every week for the past ten months.
She is very frail, both physically and mentally, and in need of a great deal of assistance.
We have been very impressed by the care and support given her by all members of
staff.
They have treated her lovingly and with dignity, and as a result, she is happy and contented at Newton Grange.
The concern shown by staff and management was very apparent last summer when our friend's husband passed away.
Though she was in a wheelchair a senior carer accompanied her to the funeral and stayed with her throughout the day.

My mother, who is disabled and suffers with moderate Alzheimer's, was very reluctant to leave home and live at Newton Grange. Within a very short time, however, she became very comfortable and contented and now refers to Newton Grange as "home".


She has always been provided with highly personal

and deeply compassionate care, which she loves and has formed close friendships with fellow residents and members of staff.


At this stage in her life, Newton Grange is absolutely the best place for my mother and this frees me from the burden of worrying about her happiness and safety. The small size of the home is a huge advantage as residents and staff know one another very well. The staff are, without exception, superb and they treat my mother with great fondness and dignity at all times.

Newton Grange (near Mumbles, Swansea) is a very well-run care home, which has developed a happy and contented atmosphere. The manager and carers are genuine and sympathetic in the way they relate to and look after the residents. My aunt has become settled and very happy in the home, and it has become
a pleasant duty to visit her regularly. I have Power of Attorney for her money and health and I am very satisfied with what she receives there.

My mum was in Langland following a brief stay in hospital after a fall shortly after Christmas,the care that she had and support from the staff there were second to none, just wanted to say thank you for everything that you did xx i am running in the Swansea bay 10 k in a couple of weeks and i wish

My mother suffers from dementia and after a fall and a brief stay in hospital, she required 24-hour care. We placed her with Newton Grange after meeting the manager. We had tried a few other homes but this was our preferred placement.


I am amazed how well my mother settled in. The staff are absolutely

wonderful, plenty of stimulation, good quality care and home cooked food. She is very happy there although before the fall she had resisted any suggestion of going into a home. Hairdressers, doctor, entertainment on some nights are all provided to the residents. The staff also provide stimulation with activities eg. films, quizzes, making cakes and other activities.


My mum is clean, happy, well fed and content. Her room is excellent. I can't thank them enough.

Mam was brought in here early December for emergency care (due to wandering) social services placed her here. I have been very happy with the friendliness of management and all of the staff I have met over the last few weeks. They have all made mam and myself very welcome and comfortable and answer

My father lives at the home, we are all grateful for the care he receives there, it is second to none. The food, the environment and the devotion of the staff you would not find anywhere else. The home has stunning views and we are very glad we chose Newton Grange.
