My father has been at Newton Grange for over a year and has received excellent care throughout. All the carers are wonderful with him and myself and my family are very happy with the care he is receiving. My father is very happy living at Newton Grange and I cannot recommend it enough.

Visitors always made to feel welcome, comfortable and cups of tea/coffee. If our relative needs help or support this is always, readily given. Meals are well balanced and personal needs catered for. Residents are treated with dignity and with humour. Topical events are celebrated i.e., rugby in March, the Royal Wedding and other such occasions. Also regular sing alongs, church services, entertainers etc.

We are all very pleased with the care that dad receives at The Newton Grange Residential Care Home. The staff are all attentive and caring. Dad is very well looked after. He is always well turned out. The food is exceptional and plentiful. We are confident that dad is looked after extremely well and treated with dignity.

It's a very homely environment. We are all very grateful that we were able to get him a place in The Newton Grange Residential Care Home.

My partner and I have been visiting a very close friend who is a resident of Newton Grange every week for the past ten months.
She is very frail, both physically and mentally, and in need of a great deal of assistance.
We have been very impressed by the care and support given her by all members of staff.
They have treated her lovingly and with dignity, and as a result, she is happy and contented at Newton Grange.
The concern shown by staff and management was very apparent last summer when our friend's husband passed away.

Though she was in a wheelchair a senior carer accompanied her to the funeral and stayed with her throughout the day.

My mother, who is disabled and suffers with moderate Alzheimer's, was very reluctant to leave home and live at Newton Grange. Within a very short time, however, she became very comfortable and contented and now refers to Newton Grange as "home".

She has always been provided with highly personal and deeply compassionate care, which she loves and has formed close friendships with fellow residents and members of staff.

At this stage in her life, Newton Grange is absolutely the best place for my mother and this frees me from the burden of worrying about her happiness and safety. The small size of the home is a huge advantage as residents and staff know one another very well. The staff are, without exception, superb and they treat my mother with great fondness and dignity at all times.

Newton Grange (near Mumbles, Swansea) is a very well-run care home, which has developed a happy and contented atmosphere. The manager and carers are genuine and sympathetic in the way they relate to and look after the residents. My aunt has become settled and very happy in the home, and it has become a pleasant duty to visit her regularly. I have Power of Attorney for her money and health and I am very satisfied with what she receives there.

My mother suffers from dementia and after a fall and a brief stay in hospital, she required 24-hour care. We placed her with Newton Grange after meeting the manager. We had tried a few other homes but this was our preferred placement.

I am amazed how well my mother settled in. The staff are absolutely wonderful, plenty of stimulation, good quality care and home cooked food. She is very happy there although before the fall she had resisted any suggestion of going into a home. Hairdressers, doctor, entertainment on some nights are all provided to the residents. The staff also provide stimulation with activities eg. films, quizzes, making cakes and other activities.

My mum is clean, happy, well fed and content. Her room is excellent. I can't thank them enough.

Mam was brought in here early December for emergency care (due to wandering) social services placed her here. I have been very happy with the friendliness of management and all of the staff I have met over the last few weeks.
