Overall Experience

I was worried and reluctant to put Mum into a home. As a service nurse, I felt I could care for her so was especially guilty.
The staff in the home, every one of them, made her welcome and were caring and compassionate. Nothing was too much trouble. They were excellent. I cannot tell you how much this meant to my mother, also an ex-nurse.

When she deteriorated, the staff; painter, laundry lady, cooks, carers, nurses, were exemplary and gave Mum tremendous care, were compassionate and understanding. I cannot praise them enough from bottom to top and myself and family thank them for making a very hard time a pleasure.

Overall Experience

My mother is in a safe happy environment. All her needs are met without delay. All the staff are very caring and respectful. I am happy knowing my mother is well cared for. The food is excellent, they are happy for me to have meals with my mother. We are well supported. There are good activities every day with an enthusiastic coordinator!

Overall Experience

Our parents moved into Red Rose Care Home in 2017, after both suffering awful strokes. The care they have received has been excellent. We were so concerned about our parents moving into any home, but our fears were quickly dispelled, once we saw the care and attention the residents received. The rooms are always clean and laundry is done to a good standard. The food is good, with a varied menu. But most importantly, the staff are excellent. Nothing is ever too much trouble and they treat the residents with kindness and patience. They inject warmth and fun into the resident's lives whenever possible and residents can take part in a range of activities. There are always qualified nurses on duty and a Dr calls regularly for routine appointments.

Sadly my dear Father just passed away and we were able to stay at the home with my father for almost a week. He was cared for with dignity, gentleness and genuine affection. As a family, we were also cared for so well and supported throughout.
