I am really happy with the service and care that my brother receives from the staff and manager when I visit him. He always seems happy and well looked after.

I was in hospital looking for a care home to live in. The last one was very disappointing. On the Monday I went to view another home - but hated it. I rang my social worker. I was really upset. 20 minutes later a really sweet lady came to me. She said she managed a care home and said it was near the hospital. What a wonder surprise! Nice room and the staff are amazing! Nothing is too much trouble for them. The food is good. I am so happy!

It was never going to be an easy decision to arrange for my Mum to move into a care home but, I feel grateful each day that I chose Ashton Park. Mum has lived there for the last 7 months and I have consistently found the staff to be kind, compassionate, understanding, professional, and hard-working. My Mum always looks well cared for and her care plan is updated regularly with staff communicating with me about her needs, wishes, and healthcare. Despite the unfortunate restrictions that the pandemic has placed on visits, staff always do their very best to accommodate me seeing her taking into account my work pattern. It was Mum's 85th birthday last week and I couldn't be there and I received videos of her opening my gifts, photos of the little party they laid on for her, and I was able to speak to her on the phone with lots of encouragement and help from staff that she needed in order to do so. My deepest thanks go to Ashton Park. You're all angels.

Ashton Park have been looking after my mum for almost 2 years. The staff are absolutely fantastic and nothing is ever too much trouble. I have complete peace of mind knowing she is being so well looked after, being kept warm, well-fed, safe, and in the presence of fantastic carers 24 /7. They keep me regularly informed if she does have any issues. I am truly grateful for everything they all do for mum. I would have no hesitation whatsoever recommending Ashton Park.

My mother-in-law is a resident in Ashton Park and has been there for a number of years. She suffers from dementia and needs care and attention day and night. The staff at Ashton Park are professional, efficient and compassionate. They cater for all my mother-in-law's many varied needs superbly in a very dignified, sympathetic and friendly manner. Ashton Park is a very welcoming and comforting care home and I would not hesitate in recommending it.

My mother has been a resident in Ashton Park for 3 years. As a result of her dementia she was unable to cope on her own and it was left to me to find a suitable care home. Ashton Park has proved to be the perfect choice from the very first day. The love and care shown to my mother by all the staff has been excellent. They include her in as many of the activities as is possible and have even taken her on a trip to Barry Island. We can visit at any time at all and have always been warmly welcomed and treated with respect. The manager and senior carers are very approachable and willing to listen to and address any concerns I or my family may have. Finally, the rest of my family say she could not be in a better home.

My stepdad was placed here for respite and fell down the stairs when unsupervised breaking his arm. As he has dementia I would have expected the stairs to be either monitored by staff or have a safeguard to make sure he couldn't wander into danger.

His room was basic and the call bell was difficult to identify as it looked like a light switch. I regret allowing him to stay here.
