The Grove Care Home

I feel my aunt is being well looked in the home. Staff area always happy to help, food is excellent and there is something entertainment schedule into the home. Manager has been very helpful to me with my issues I have too.

Staff are professional helpful and always kind whilst helping mum to engage in a relaxed and friendly manner.

A very pleasant care home that suits all my mother's needs, i.e., hygiene, eating, activities, friendship, etc. Home is of immaculate decoration and very easy to navigate with wheelchair. Lots of communal space and staff are simply amazing. Nothing is too much to do to look after the residents daily. Overall, a fine and wonderful place to be (our happiness is key also, and we are so).

Very friendly and attentative staff and management nice room and my father thoroughly enjoyed his stay.

The Grove has proved to be an excellent choice for mum. The care provided has been very good and staff show professionalism and compassion. As relatives we always receve a warm welcome and residents are encouraged to see The Grove as their home. The provision of activities is a particular strength and mum has really enjoyed the lead up to Christmas.

I could not be anymore delighted than I am with the care that my mother receives at The Grove. She is treated with kindness by all the staff and with dignity. They make the place a joyfull home for all the residents and show such paitence and attention towards them all. If I show any concern about a small issue regarding my mother it is addressed immediately. The quality of my life has improved greatly, knowing how well cared for my mother is 24/7 in The Grove. I am so grateful.

My mother was recently admitted to hospital. During this time, Mum had the best possible care & attention and was treated respectfully and with dignity. Since Mum has returned to the home, she has gone from strength to strength in her recovery. I can not praise the staff & home for all they have done.

Mum stayed while I was away and she really enjoyed it. Food is very good and cater to likes/dislikes. Rooms comfortable and activities programme well managed and varied. Staff very friendly and helpful. Mum felt welcomed and they spend time making, sure she is ok. Also an emergency stay was handled brilliantly taking a load off my mind. Small downside not many ensuite but not possible and plenty of close bathrooms.

Since my mother has been a resident at The Grove she has settled very well is very happy. She enjoys the interaction with the staff, who are extremely kind and thoughtful to her. She enjoys the chair exercises, the highlight of the week is having her hair done and much appreciates being able to have a bath, something she was unable to have at home. From a visitors point of view the management and staff are always welcoming and accommodating.

The care & support that The Grove has given my sister absolutely outstanding. The food is home made with a choice at each meal times. They look after with such care e.g reception, entertainment, medical requirements. An orderly manner keeping peoples clothes. Keeping all of the senior citizens health well being & own cleanliness exceptional.

I visit my aunt once every week and the consistency in quality, care, attention to detail etc. is excellent. Very impressive. The staff are always courteous and could not speak more highly of them. Well done everyone.

Settled in well, very much at ease. Came initially for respite but have decided to remain permanently. The staff are welcoming and nothing is too much trouble.

Nothing but praise for The Grove. Right from our first visit, we were made welcome, and were provided with all the information to make a decision. The staff were very helpful and obviously caring. Since my aunt has been in The Grove, there have been a few health issues, and these have been dealt with by the correct health professionals in a timely manner. My life is so much less stressful, knowing she is well cared for and happy.

I cannot fault the care and consideration that all the staff give to my mother. It’s been nearly a year since she moved in and as I live so far away, I can go to sleep each night knowing she is safe and well looked after. The manager runs the home professionally and with care. Special mention to the male members of staff, who show her the utmost respect in the care they give her.

The Grove Care Home is a lovely home for its residents. The staff are very caring and attentive. The residents themselves are always very well-presented and are calm and happy. The food is well received and there is plenty of variety. Excellent individual attention is given to the residents and there are varied activities to stimulate them.
