The Grove offers a relaxed and calm environment and is well equipped for the needs of older people. Individualised care plans are available ranging from respite and convalescence to dementia care and long term care.

Set within the beautiful countryside close to the Brecon Beacons National Park, The Grove provides a welcoming and warm environment as well as a high standard of accommodation. All bedrooms are attractively decorated and visitor accommodation is available for family and friends.

Alongside freshly cooked, nutritionally-balanced meals, the chef caters for individual tastes and diets. Homemade cake is always served at afternoon tea.

The home’s own activity co-ordinator plays a vital role in ensuring residents have the opportunity to pursue hobbies or interests as well as enjoy visiting entertainers, bingo and quizzes. Trips out to places of local interest are also organised regularly.

Since my mother has been a resident at The Grove she has settled very well is very happy. She enjoys the interaction with the staff, who are extremely kind and thoughtful to her. She enjoys the chair exercises, the highlight of the week is having her hair done and much appreciates being able to have
a bath, something she was unable to have at home. From a visitors point of view the management and staff are always welcoming and accommodating.

The care & support that The Grove has given my sister absolutely outstanding. The food is home made with a choice at each meal times. They look after with such care e.g reception, entertainment, medical requirements. An orderly manner keeping peoples clothes. Keeping all of the senior citizens health

I have been delighted with the care that my mother has received at The Grove since she moved in August 2023. She was reluctant to leave her home but soon settled, helped by the fact that the building is very comfortable and homely, she thoroughly enjoys the food and the respectful care and attention
she receives from all the staff. I would have been more pleased if her room had an en-suite toilet but this does not bother my mother at all. She loves her nice room, I appreciate the information the staff are willing to share with me regarding my mother.

Nothing but praise for The Grove. Right from our first visit, we were made welcome, and were provided with all the information to make a decision. The staff were very helpful and obviously caring. Since my aunt has been in The Grove, there have been a few health issues, and these have been dealt with
by the correct health professionals in a timely manner. My life is so much less stressful, knowing she is well cared for and happy.

I cannot fault the care and consideration that all the staff give to my mother. It’s been nearly a year since she moved in and as I live so far away, I can go to sleep each night knowing she is safe and well looked after. The manager runs the home professionally and with care. Special mention to the

The Grove provides a home-from-home atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The difference I can see in my mother-in-law is massive, even though she has been here a short time, she is very content and says there is nothing she doesn't like. I never feel bad leaving her after a visit.

I cannot speak highly enough about the care my mother has received since moving into The Grove Care Home. The staff have been excellent, always helpful and accommodating. The difference in my mother's health and well-being is quite unbelievable. From being full of anxiety, she is now happy and contented.

What a beautiful place! My mum loves it there if anyone needs a home from home it's The Grove. My mother has been there for around 8 weeks and has settled in really well. It's not just the homely feel of the place, it's the warmness of all the staff who show tender, loving care to all the residents
and we all like some TLC don't we? A big big thank you to all the staff from myself, my mum and my sister for your devotion to service. It couldn't be better. Thank you all.

My dad had respite at The Grove for a week. This is his 5th time this year and he enjoys every time. All the staff are so lovely with dad and nothing is too much trouble for them. They give us such a friendly welcome too as his family. It allows me too as daddy's carer to have a rest and know he's being
