Llys Hafren offers a range of care plans for short or long term needs. Staff have been trained to provide individualised 24 hour care in a professional and caring manner while focusing on the independence and dignity of each resident. The home offers excellent facilities to care for people with Huntington’s disease and Parkinson’s and those who are living with dementia.

Llys Hafren Care Home has a friendly feel and welcomes residents to bring their own small possessions for decoration. Bedrooms are pleasantly furnished and decorated and for peace of mind all rooms are fitted with a 24 hour call system. The landscaped garden with a water feature provides the perfect setting to relax or socialise with guests and visitors.

The home’s menu includes fresh seasonal ingredients which are prepared by the in house chef. The menu changes daily and hot and cold choices are always on offer.

Life at Llys Hafren includes groups for residents to take part in which includes gardening, bird watching and reading groups, as well as additional therapies that residents can access. Residents are encouraged to continue their own interests and hobbies and take part in local outings.

This is my second experience of visiting Llys Hafren as follows:
1. For 4 years I visited the mother of a close friend. The care I observed throughout the years was second to none. I also need to add that I visited at different times of the day and observed wonderful care each visit.
2. My mother is now at the care home and is extremely happy. All her needs are catered for, nutritionally, self-care, bilingualism as well as supporting us as a family. After nearly 12 months, my mother has become anxious free and looks so much better than she has done for many years.

My mother is now five years younger than when she first entered Llys Hafren! The care and attention she receives is excellent. The staff are always friendly, helpful and obliging. The manager is world class as are the senior staff. I couldn't want for anything better for my mother. I have not commented on value for money. Care homes are by definition expensive to run. Like everything else in life, you get what you pay for.

I'm my Mother's nearest relative and live in Norway. I am informed straight away if something is wrong. Staff are wonderful. This is now my Mother's home and she really appreciates her care. Llys Hafren Care Home is wonderful. More homes should follow their standards in Britain and Norway.

Llys Hafren is an excellent care home with very caring committed staff and a first class manager. We have been extremely happy with the home which is always busy, always immaculately tidy, always welcoming and provides a safe, loving and homely environment for the residents.

Staff are particularly caring treating my parents with dignity. The manageress shares information in an open way and listens to any concerns. The atmosphere in the home is positive and relaxed. Activities are varied and imaginative. Rooms are clean and food is generally of a high standard. As with all organisations more training is needed for a minority of staff modelling behaviour and shadowing outstanding staff would benefit a few employees.
