Many thanks.
Llys Hafren is an excellent care home my dad has settled in well and has been here for 3 years. The staff are very caring and excellent with my dad and the residents. My dad is very happy. It is like one big family and would definitely recommend to anyone in need of care.
My mother has been a resident at Llys Hafren for almost 5 years and has always been very happy. She has received the best care I could have wished for. It's the professionalism and dedication of the staff that makes it so special. She is treated with affection, dignity and the care and attention she receives are excellent. It has always been a pleasure visiting Llys Hafren as all the staff are welcoming and kind. It has been an extremely difficult year, but I know mum is safe, nourished, cared for and loved. I have constantly been updated on how she is and informed of any problems. It is so assuring that she is so well cared for and I couldn't thank them enough.
There's always some activity or entertainment that Mum can enjoy, and she thinks all the staff are wonderful. Of course, it's the staff that really make it feel so welcoming. Everyone is caring and friendly, finding time to talk to and laugh with residents.
This is a heartwarming thing to witness.
From our perspective, the team that looks after our Mum have worked especially hard recently to put in place some helpful measures to assist Mum with her personal care routine.
We had some questions which were investigated, answered swiftly, and the new plan was agreed and implemented straight away.
All of the things that really impact Mum's daily quality of life and sense of well-being are being handled with great kindness and flexibility.
Well done to the manager and the team.
I could not be happier with the care my wife receives.
Thank you for your kind words. We are happy to hear you fell like your wife is cared for and looked after.
My mother has been a resident for the last six months and we were very pleased with her care from day one. She settled in quickly considering she is disabled (cannot walk on her own) and had lived on her own for over 35 years. During my visits, I have witnessed that the staff are very helpful and caring towards her and the other residents.
Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. It is always lovely to hear from the family member being happy with the care we provide. Thank you once again for choosing Llys Hafren for your mother's care.
Mum has been at Llys Hafren Care Home since January and I cannot fault it. The staff are excellent, friendly and caring and really look after everyone to a very high standard. Mum really likes it here.
Thank you for your kind words. It is very nice to hear that mum feels like a part of our Llys Hafren family and you can have the peace of mind and reassurance that she will be looked after.
The staff are extremely good to the patients/residents. Very well looked after, well fed, lots of drinks on hand etc.
All staff are friendly, cheerful and chatty to residents.
The home is kept clean, tidy and very warm. Cosy rooms are kept tidy, washing is all done satisfactorily.
All round excellent home, very pleased with Dad's care.
Thank you for your kind words. We are very happy to hear you can feel at ease with your dad in our care. Please let us know if there is anything that can be done to make your dads stay as comfortable as possible.
A friendly, clean and safe place to be. Staff are kind, reliable and always there to help with a smile.
My grandmother is very happy here and raves about the place.
It is always a pleasure visiting Llys Hafren - the care is always of a very high standard.
Thank you for your kind words. We are very happy to hear you can feel at ease with your grandmother in our care. We hope to continue providing your loved one with the best possible care.
When our mother came for respite a couple of weeks ago my brother and I were very relieved but also anxious. We were unsure whether she would settle. It is obvious now that she is very happy. This is down to the wonderful staff who have created a very happy environment. Your kindness and understanding to my brother and I is also greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your review. We are pleased to hear about your positive experience and appreciate your comments of our home's staff. Residents health and well being is our priority and we are glad your brother has settled in so well. The Bupa Customer Care Team.
My husband has only been a resident for a few weeks but previous to that, he's stayed there on a weekly basis (respite). I find all the staff very friendly, helpful and caring. The home is very clean and tidy and the care they give to the residents is excellent. I would recommend to everybody.
I am pleased to hear that you and your husband are happy with the standard of care and cleanliness at our home. Thank you for your review.
I find the staff are helpful and if you raise any concerns, they attend to and try to put right. The laundry service is the poorest and they don't seem to take care and their clothes, they look shabby quickly which makes her look a little unkept.
Thank you for your review and feedback about our home - it is really appreciated.
I would definately recommend it to anyone or even come myself. It is a lovely light airy care home, the garden will look lovely in the summer when all the plants are in flower.
Thank you for your review and I'm happy to hear that you have had a positive opinion of Lllys Hafren.
My mother is now five years younger than when she first entered Llys Hafren! The care and attention she receives is excellent. The staff are always friendly, helpful and obliging. The manager is world class as are the senior staff. I couldn't want for anything better for my mother. I have not commented on value for money. Care homes are by definition expensive to run. Like everything else in life, you get what you pay for.
Thank you for your review, we appreciate your feedback. We are pleased to hear about your positive experience and appreciate your comments about our home and will share your comments with the home’s manager. The Bupa Customer Care Team.
I'm my Mother's nearest relative and live in Norway. I am informed straight away if something is wrong. Staff are wonderful. This is now my Mother's home and she really appreciates her care. Llys Hafren Care Home is wonderful. More homes should follow their standards in Britain and Norway.

Llys Hafren is an excellent care home with very caring committed staff and a first class manager. We have been extremely happy with the home which is always busy, always immaculately tidy, always welcoming and provides a safe, loving and homely environment for the residents.

Staff are particularly caring treating my parents with dignity. The manageress shares information in an open way and listens to any concerns. The atmosphere in the home is positive and relaxed. Activities are varied and imaginative. Rooms are clean and food is generally of a high standard. As with all organisations more training is needed for a minority of staff modelling behaviour and shadowing outstanding staff would benefit a few employees.
