The home boasts a light and airy conservatory which leads to a garden area for residents to enjoy spending time with loved ones or watching the wildlife. Many bedrooms have en suite facilities and all have been decorated to a high standard.

The importance of a healthy and varied selection of meals is recognised by Wylesfield and the dedicated chef uses fresh ingredients every day to satisfy residents’ food preferences.

All staff work tirelessly above and beyond to take of care of their residents. We are extremely grateful to all of the staff and this includes Health Care Support, Team Leads, Catering, Domestics, Admin, Activities Co-Ordinator - A the staff who are the ones providing the direct care and making a difference.
Our mum moved here July 2024 and we have been made to feel welcome and supported. Very good communication about Mum plus lots of activities. We haven't seen the Care Home Manager on site over the last 3 months which is why we have scored lower there. To our knowledge the Manager has not interacted with Mum since her arrival in July. The Team Leads appear to be at the helm and work endlessly, staying over hours or returning to ensure they have finished elements of care required. There are high standards to be maintained so I do hope the Manager appreciates all the staff as they deserve praise and thanks each day. Thank you guys for taking care of our Mum.

Excellent staff, friendly, welcoming to all and at all times professional with care of the residents at the core of values. A real home from home, with lots of activities and stimulation creating a happy and fun environment. All areas are clean and smell fresh, with furniture that is not overly clinical.
My father needs hoisting and help with eating and drinking, the staff do this with diligence and dignity.

Wylesfield is providing excellent care for my partner. The staff are kind, efficient and professional, in addition to being patient and responsive to residents. There is a warm and cheerful atmosphere which I greatly appreciate. The staff are always very knowledgeable about each resident and when I

Mum was respite in October and then returned in December as a resident. She has been well looked after. Enjoys watching all that is going on. The staff are very friendly and help keep her clean and happy, even when she is being difficult.

Amazing service from the Manager and her team. My mother has been a resident for just over 3 months, and Wylesfield were my first choice care home by far and have exceeded my expectations since the start, the care and attention from all members of staff have to be complemented, Well done the team,

Wylesfield is amazing. The staff are always friendly and smiling, my mother is always clean and tidy, well fed, and most of all happy. Mother's room is always immaculate. The home itself is always clean. The staff are very competent and notice immediately if residents need anything. You never wait to
be let in to visit. Mum has been in other care homes that I wouldn't even rate, Wylesfield is 11/10 every time.

My wife (83) has been a resident for 2 months and I have found that the ambience is that of confidence and care. Since being at Wylsefield my wife has settled and has gained confidence. The staff are always welcoming and if they have any concerns inform me asap. If a resident becomes ill-at-ease or
unwell the response is excellent and caring.
I generally visit mid-morning and am amazed at the variation of the entertainment/activities organised.
Wylsefield is always warm and inviting.

Mum spent a week at Wylesfield for a brief respite. In her words the staff were wonderful. She was well cared for and I feel that they took the time to get to know her. Communication was very good. My daily phone calls were always met with friendliness and professionalism. Highly recommended.

The service that we have received over the past ten months has been consistently excellent. The staff are very caring, not only for my mum but also in respect for giving me confidence in knowing that she is in such good hands.
Last Christmas and her recent Birthday was a very pleasurable experience
with her new family.

At the time of this review, my father has only been in Wylesfield for two weeks. Dad has settled in very well, having previously been in another home. The staff are all so nice; they can't do enough for the residents and families. The home is cosy and very clean, and Dad is enjoying the activities.
The food, he says, is lovely. We are very fortunate to have Wylesfield close by to us.

This is a lovely home. All the staff are excellent and very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The way they look after the residents is wonderful. Very impressed with the professional attitude of all the staff and how friendly everybody is. Was a concern when my mother first went to the home as it was new to us and my mother, but she has settled well. My mother suffers from dementia which has its difficulties, but all staff have made her welcome
and ensured a smooth transition.

My mother is cared for at Wylesfield.
She has been there for a little over a year.
I live in the USA and I am her only relative so it's vitally important that she is safe and secure.
I call her frequently and whomever connects me via phone is always very courteous and helpful.
I visited the facility
last week and met many of the staff. All were very positive and obviously knew my mother very well.
Mother tells me that she is well cared for, well fed and has a comfortable room.
I am satisfied that the Wylesfield crew do an excellent job and that my mother is in good hands.

Mum was very apprehensive about going into the home, but on arrival, she was made to feel very welcome by the staff that greeted her at the door. She now calls it home. All the staff are very warm and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Mum has settled in extremely well and gets on with everyone,
always ready for a chat. A wide variety of food on the menu to choose from. Always drinks served throughout the day. Always appears to be kept clean and tidy. No complaints.

My mum had got to the stage where living independently was causing concern. A difficult decision to make was made easier when she went to respite which resulted in her being a full-time resident. The staff work tirelessly every single day to meet her and other residents' needs. They are all truly amazing.
They are patient, kind, reassuring and caring. My mum has been on her own during Covid so having that interaction with staff and residents have now brought her back to being the sociable person she was prior to Covid. I cannot thank the matron and her staff enough for what they have done for my mum and for me. I know now that she is in safe hands. I will be eternally grateful to them all. Angels all of them!

I went into Wylesfield Care Home for respite care over Christmas with some trepidation. I worried needlessly as all the staff were just wonderful, kind, caring and helpful. I needed a special diet and everything was fresh and tasty. I had a nice room and there was a lovely lounge which I made use of.
I would certainly recommend them.

I found the staff very friendly and helpful. The fabric of the home was very good and was able to meet my needs. Most of the staff took on board my usual routine. As I was having to isolate my wife had preempted this and provided me with activities to keep me occupied. It was a positive experience.
