The staff are some of the friendliest, nice and lovely people, they always welcome you with a smile. They are kind and compassionate when dealing with my grandma, and are so patient with her. I'm so grateful that my gran got into this home as she is safe and very well taken care of.
Thank you so much for your lovely review, we're really grateful for your kind words about our team and for the trust you put in us for your grandma's care. It's our privilege to care for her and to have her as part of our community. Your lovely comments will mean so much to our team, thank you again!
Very friendly staff nothing is to much trouble for them. Home is clean and tidy. Residents all look happy and cared for. Staff are always on hand. Always get offered tea or coffee when we go in. They get well fed.

A huge thank you to all the great staff at Strathview for the real care and attention they give supporting Mum. She has been a resident for nearly 5 years and in this time has become increasingly dependent on carers to do everything for her as her dementia progresses. They truly know her and they are so patient, kind and respectful of her needs and moods, whilst being mindful of others. We are always welcome to visit and be treated as part of the 'family'. It is such a comfort to know she is there and we are extremely grateful to the whole team who work so hard to make Strathview such a nurturing, safe and positive place.
Thank you for your kind words and recognition of the team at Strathview, the care, services and support we deliver as a team to your Mother and whole family is extremely important to us. Your feedback will be shared with the team.
Delighted that my father has settled so easily and happily at Strathview, having come from another home. The care team have really helped him without overwhelming him and has managed his needs and equipment very smoothly. The move means he is now in the same home as his wife and it's great to hear that they spend time together when appropriate. It makes visiting as a family much simpler and the home is great at providing space and support for this to happen.
We really appreciate your wonderful feedback, it's so lovely to see your father settling in and spending quality time with his wife and it's a privilege for us to be able to support him and his family.
My father has now settled really well in Strathview. I find he is safe there and given attention, care and encouragement. He has nothing but praise for the taste and quality of the food. It's a busy and well-run bungalow. The staff are nice to him. They pay attention to when a member of staff needs to take him for an appointment at the nearby surgery. Thanks so much, Strathview!
Thank you so much for your kind words, Jacqueline, we're delighted that you're happy with your father's care at Strathview and we're glad he likes our food! You're very welcome and our team really appreciate the feedback.
I would like to say a huge thank you to all of the amazing staff at the Strathview Care Home for the understanding, patience and care they show my brother who suffers from dementia. As I live four hundred miles from the home I am not able to visit as much as I would like, but when I phone the staff always take the time to let me know how he is and occasionally they will arrange a video call for me, which I really appreciate.
We really appreciate your wonderful feedback, Peter, and your recognition of our team and their dedication, they will be touched to hear your lovely comments!
Like staff, rooms and food and things we can do.

Staff here care, all of them. My wife has lived at Strathview for a year now and is part of the Strathview 'family'. I visit frequently and see happy residents who are respected and cherished. I also see happy staff. The home is small and intimate. The food is fresh and tasty. The rooms are comfortable, en suite and of a good size. There is nothing corporate, cold or matter of fact here. Be in no doubt, this is a very special care home.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us such a fantastic review! My mother was lucky enough to be given a place at the care home. We were invited a few times to view the home and given plenty of info. My mother's move went well, and we were able to have her room all ready for her arrival. All the staff welcomed her, and she is very happy in her new home. She gets lots of attention, and they have plenty of activities to keep her occupied. She is very happy, which makes my sister and I very happy. I can't thank the staff enough for welcoming and caring for my mum.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us such a fantastic review! We're happy to hear that your mother is enjoying the activities and being part of the Strathview family. I will pass on your kind comments to the whole team.
I love going to visit my sister in her care home. Strathview sits in a lovely location. The residents have a lovely outlook. On visiting, the staff all know who I am, and call me by my name and inform me of my sister. At the time of the pandemic, all the correct procedures were followed. I visited my sister yesterday, we were in the lounge, and we were singing and dancing - love to see the laughter.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us such a fantastic review, Virginia! We're happy to hear that your sister is receiving such great care at Strathview and that you both enjoy the activities we hold at the home. I will pass on your kind comments to the whole team.
My brother has recently moved into Strathview Care Home, and I am really delighted with everything. The room is very comfortable, but the real 'cherry on the cake' is the staff. They are so caring and cheerful. I have nothing but praise for the people that are now looking after him. He is managed in a gentle but constructive manner with a clear strategy of how to plan his ongoing care in the best possible way. He could not be in a better place.
We are so pleased to read your wonderful comments about how your brother has settled in at Strathview and the care he receives from the team here. I will pass your comments on to the team, who will be thrilled with your feedback.
He's settled in very well and really enjoys the home comforts that he receives.
Dad and the rest of his family appreciated all the hard work and effort put in by all the staff during a very enjoyable Christmas period.
Keep up the excellent work.

Meet the Team (1)

I have worked at Strathview for more than 10 years and, prior to that, cared for my mum and worked in the private care sector.
At Strathview, I’ve worked my way up from administrator to deputy Manager and finally home manager so I know the team well. I have always worked very closely with my team which is very important to me.
As a small home, it’s vital that we support each other and work well as a team. Every member of the team knows they can speak to me whenever they may need to and the same goes for our residents and their families.
I enjoy seeing how even just the smallest interaction on a daily basis can lighten someone’s face and make a difference. I work with people who have given their all to everyone around them and now it is their time to be looked after.
I personally feel that development and training is very important for both the team and myself – every day is a school day! I am proactive in supporting my team to take up all the opportunities provided as we want to be able to offer the best experience possible to our residents, delivering quality care.
