Situated near Edinburgh in the beach resort of Portobello, Bath Street is a modern, purpose-built house that can accommodate up to 5 adults with learning disabilities. With good transport links to Edinburgh, the home is close to a variety of local amenities including a promenade, shops, restaurants, pubs and leisure facilities.
Bath Street delivers high quality care for adults with learning disabilities in a friendly and safe environment. Regulated by the Care Inspectorate for Scotland, the dedicated and experienced team use a person centred approach to ensure every individual’s needs are understood and met with the greatest privacy, dignity and respect.
Each individual chooses how they are supported, and lead very active lives. With a focus on independence, health, wellbeing and skills building, our extensive activity programmes offer something for everyone. As well as staff, a team of committed volunteers support individual and group activities, so all have the chance to be social, get creative or enjoy exercise.
Bath Street enables residents to get the most out of life, supporting individuals to maintain relationships with family and friends, and gain the ability to move on to more independent living when they’re ready.
