My husband has been living in the Bradbury Wing for five years now and I have found the care he has received during this time excellent. The nurses and carers are very professional, compassionate and I couldn't have wished for any better care for my husband, they are first-class at what they do. Not only have the nurses and carers been so supportive and caring towards my husband but they have also been a fabulous support to my family and myself also. The manager and deputy manager are so approachable and nothing is too much trouble. The manager and her amazing staff have made what seemed to me to be the impossible, actually possible. With their support we managed to get my husband home a number of times so he could be involved in very special family occasions and without their help and determination this would never have been possible. I feel truly blessed to have these special people in our lives.
This home has a positive atmosphere and is very patient/resident focused, they listen to families and friends and try to improve their quality of life in line with the capacities of the individual and the home's resources. Care appears to be very good, though it is sometimes a bit hard to keep up with the names of all the different agency staff.
Thank you so much for your kind words. The team at Bradbury Wing work very hard to support our residents and will be happy to hear their efforts are appreciated.
This residential home is like a family home. It has a homely feel and friendly, helpful staff, the welcome I have received in this home over the last nine years has been superb. The setting, in large grounds, provides a calm nature garden for residents and for relatives needing peace and a place for their thoughts. An excellent all round home.
Dear Rita. Thank you very much for the kind words about Seven Rivers and for taking the time to let us know your thoughts. Our dedicated and professional staff team work very hard to achieve the level of care you have so graciously commended and we have forwarded your compliments to them. Kindest regards.
There are still issues with getting repairs done, but this isn't the home's fault. It's due to the unfathomable management system within the Leonard Cheshire organisation.
Well done to the manager and deputy.
Mum was looked after by a team of highly professional care staff who were totally committed to providing a very high standard of care under the supervision of both an excellent manager and assistant manager.
When Mum passed away, Wharfedale House even coordinated and supervised her "end of life" care in conjunction with the doctors and district nurses.
The overall care provided by Wharfedale House was a credit to all the staff and I can never thank them enough for all their help.
Thank you so much for the review. We are so glad your mum had a great time at Wharfedale House. The staff have been working hard to ensure all residents (permanent or temporary) get the support they need.
My brother has lived at Heatherley for over 25 years, and during that time he has been cared for by staff with care and dignity second to none. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff, and I have always been made to feel very much part of a small knit family there, and continue to feel so. All staff know me and my family by name and keep me informed of anything I need to know. Heatherley is a beautiful home run by wonderful nursing staff, carers, management, kitchen staff, administration, activities and everyone else. I cannot fault it.
Pauline, thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience of our service Heatherley, we very much appreciate your feedback and will make sure we share it with the team. Warm regards, from all at Leonard Cheshire and Heatherley.
My niece came to stay at Christmas, and she really is happy at the care home, she is bright, bubbly, and has no worries. She is so well cared for and is very happy. Thank you.
Thank you very much for the kind words Paula. Our experienced and committed staff team work hard to provide all residents with a high quality of care and support. We will pass on your compliments to them.
I would like to thank the kind, wonderful staff for looking after my daughter.
Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience of St Bridget's, we very much appreciate your feedback. Warm regards from the team at St Bridget's.
After eight weeks my Mum was moved from Hospital to Seven Rivers for care in order for her to eventually be able to return home.
The staff here are marvellous, I have had more contact/feedback in a week than all of the eight weeks in the hospital, the staff are genuinely interested in developments and involve the family.
My Mum has shown progress already as the environment is so much better, the pace is slower than hospital and more centred on her individual needs and obstacles.
The staff are friendly and always introduce themselves, you feel part of it all. Out of admiration and gratitude, they are truly a great team and after several weeks of hospital visiting this is a very satisfying change, which gives me hope and a little more daily confidence to get on with what I have to do.
The grounds are picturesque and wheelchair friendly so it will be good to get Mum out of bed and into the grounds for a tour.
Well done to the Seven Rivers Team, you ARE appreciated.
Many thanks.
Hi John. Thank you for taking the time to review our service, we really value your feedback. The team work hard to ensure that everyone has the highest standard of support and we take pride in ensuring that all relatives are welcomed and valued at our service. Thanks again John, your feedback means a lot to us all.
I have found everyone very helpful, as I am none weight bearing. The food is very good everywhere is very clean. I have a nice room and there is a nice lounge.
Dear Brenda,

Kindest regards.
The wonderful caring people at Oakwood have been caring for my dad since 2014, following a serious road accident and a subsequent head injury.
The manager at Oakwood is extremely caring and spent a lot of her time fighting for the correct care for dad (we are caught in the middle of a dispute between various councils who won't take responsibility for him) and she has been relentless in the midst of this. Amazing.
Julia, thanks so much for taking the time to give us feedback about the service at Oakwood, we are glad that your experience has been positive.
The staff always keep and eye on all the guests in the house.
I stayed at St Bridget's for one week to see how I would enjoy it. I found the staff and clients very kind and would go again.
My father has been place initially for respite care for a few weeks with a view to full time once we have sorted out finances etc. The staff have all been excellent with my father and his is very pleased.
Pinewood is a very nice clean sunny place to live in, the staff are very caring and the attention they give is second to none. They are very helpful and will help whenever this is needed. My dignity is always respected. My confidence has really improved. The staff have helped me become more secure in all that I do
Symonds House is a welcoming and well-maintained care home for those with severe mobility problems. The staff are always friendly and the residents has as much freedom as their disabilities allow. Only last week, I was shown the lovely gardens (with their fantastic view) for the first time.
