Across from Victoria Park and with great transport links to central Edinburgh, the home is close to a variety of local amenities including a bowling green, tennis courts, a library and the Ocean Terminal shopping complex.
Newhaven Road delivers high quality care for adults with learning disabilities in a friendly and safe environment. Regulated by the Care Inspectorate for Scotland, the team use a person centred approach to ensure every individual’s needs are understood and met with the greatest privacy, dignity and respect.
Each individual chooses how they are supported, and lead very active lives. With a focus on independence, health, wellbeing and skills building, extensive activity programmes offer something for everyone. As well as staff, a team of committed volunteers who support individual and group activities, so all have the chance to be social, get creative or enjoy exercise.
Newhaven Road enables people to get the most out of life, supporting individuals to maintain relationships with family and friends, and to support them to gain the ability to move on to more independent living when they’re ready.
